Is there anything less than 1 star? We sat for over 45 minutes in the drive thru to p/up medication. Why wouldnt the car holding up the line be asked to pull down so that others could get served who perhaps wouldnt take so long? When this question posed to the person manning the window, got a snide remark back. My prescription was ready and took only 2 minutes to get. But it took 45 minutes to get to the window? Service inside is no better. I stood in line for 30 minutes to see someone at the minute clinic and did not get so much as acknowledged while the phone rang non-stop in the background. I have run out of medication that I am supposed to have every day simply because I either dont have the time to sit in the line to get to the window or cant get served inside.

The pharmacist- Mike I believe is his name- is incredibly rude. The store manager, who is nice, even said she has heard that he is awful to patients and customers. He hung up on me twice when all I needed to know were the hours for the minute clinic. He told me not to yell at him…I simply told him I didn’t want to speak to him anymore because he was so rude and I guess he didn’t like that so he hung up. Hanging up on customers doesn’t solve anything it just makes everyone more mad and frustrated because questions go unanswered. Very unprofessional. The minute clinic nurse is wonderful but because of the way I was treated by the pharmacist, considering it’s a PHARMACY, I wish I could give this CVS a zero rating.

Brought my son here to get a covid test. Because he is underage he can not get a my chart. We need a proof of the test and results from cvs so he can return to school. They cant help. Their only advice is to get another test somewhere else so I can get proof. At $139 a test. Steamed right now.

The worse experienceI have been to this location 3 times each time I have waited in line for 40 minutes to 1hour. Just to be told its not ready come back tomorrow or circle back in line. Remind you the line is 10 cars long if not longer. I have been told the truck does not have your prescription, we are lacking help. The pharmacist are lazy or they dont know how to make the prescriptions. Please go to anywhere but here. I have never received a call about my prescription or a truck has not come. Please dont waist your time.

I now no longer have my prescription because of this pharmacy. Long story short, I moved out of state and had my prescriptions transferred to this CVS but they claim they never received the transfer (even though I received a confirmation) and now my doctor cant even rewrite my prescription for me because Im out of state. And due to COVID-19 I cannot be seen by a doctor to get a new prescription. 3 weeks of phone calls and nothing got sorted out. I have never been so livid. This store is the absolute worst.

My son was prescribed medication for an ear infection (amoxicillin). We were 20mLs short. I went to CVS on S Church Street to tell them. They told me they couldn’t give me any more medication then continued to question me as to where the medicine went...as if I were lying about being short 4 doses of medication for my 2 year old. VERY unprofessional. We will NOT return to this pharmacy. I would like to think of myself as a capable mother who is intelligent enough to give my child the proper dose of medicine. The problem is not the medicine being short it’s the way I was treated by pharmacy techs and the Pharmacist when I came to explain the situation. They acted like it was literally impossible for them to have made a mistake.

Went to pick up a script for pink eye for my daughter this morning. Was told it would be a little while before it was ready for pick up. No biggie. I work in a doctors office and I know things can take time. I called a couple of hours later for them to tell me they didnt have it and it wouldnt be delivered until Monday, 3 days later. Just curious why they wouldnt call and let me know. I always get a call when my script is ready so I would imagine the same would happen if they wont have a certain medicine for days..just thought it was very unprofessional.

Sorriest pharmacy on earth. Took 45 min to get to answer the phone. Kept telling me they didnt have a prescription for me although I verified with my Dr it had been sent. Then was told it would take 4 hours to fill. Shut the damn store down.

While sitting in the drive thru with several other vehicles... there was no movement for 10 minutes . Then the 1st car goes thru, then the 2nd... and then i know why we were shuffled thru so fast ... the attendent informed us (with a canned speech) We are closing this register. You will now need to come inside. I had dogs with me so that was not an option . But, no I am sorry, no notification, no sign. For 10 minutes we all sat there and NO ONE let us know

Would leave zero stars if I could. By far one of the most incompetent pharmacies around. I went to get a Rx here because they were out everywhere else and when I got there, they only had HALF of the prescription... I called before I drove there just to make sure they had it, dont you think someone couldve told me this on the phone? I also waited 33 minutes on hold before anyone answered the phone.I called back two days later to make sure I could pick up the other half of my prescription and a woman answered the phone, I told her I was checking on the status of my prescription and she was very rude and unprofessional on the phone.Edit: it’s three weeks later and my prescription still hasn’t been filled.Edit 2: it’s been two months and I never got the other half of my Rx!

This location has been having trouble filling prescriptions for awhile, but today I cant deal with it anymore. My prescription was called in on February 6 and it is now the 12th. I went to pick it up and was told its not ready, give them 20 minutes. I asked why isnt it ready because it has been days since it was called in and was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Im done with this store.

I used to work for CVS and this 1 has been notorious for years. Corporate is constantly trying to fix things but no one actually gives 2 skittles. And the only person they can seem to hold on to is the rude gremlin that sticks out the window, and I used to be the window gremlin so I can say that. CVS is useless as a company in general, but this 1 exemplifies all that is wrong with this corporation.

Dr called in my script at 10am, I call at 2:30 to ask if it’s ready and was told it wasn’t yet, asked why it was taking so long (going on 5 hours) and was told “pharmacy’s get busy” and hung up on. Wow, wonderful customer service!

My local pharmacy was bought out by them and now they are refusing to transfer my families prescriptions in a timely manner. Not even given 24 hr notice of buy out and now my pharmacy of choice is having to fight to get my records transferred. Bad business, that is why I dont do business with big box drug stores. I have also filed a complaint with NC board of Pharmacy!

I took my daughter to the ER at 9 am this morning, it is 2 o’clock and she has been crying in pain and her medicine isn’t ready. This is the only time I’ve had a problem with this cvs but this is enough to send me over the edge. She should t be crying in pain because her medicine SHOULD HAVE BEEN READY HOURS AGO. I was told THREE different times that it would be ready. I am livid.

Horrible customer service! After waiting 30 plus minutes for a prescription that I was notified was ready, I’m told “well we are too busy to deal with this right now, you’re going to just have to come back later” this employee also rolled her eyes at me. Don’t send notifications of something being ready if it’s not! I can even understand if it were an accident, but don’t be rude about it. Apologize for the inconvenience at least!

Rude and unorganized pharmacy staff. Miss-counts prescription count often and never fixes their mistakes they just make customers feel like they lost them or someone stole their prescriptions. They never own their mistakes.

Trash. This pharmacy never answers the phone. Tried to have my prescription transferred and the new pharmacist could not make contact with anyone at this CVS location. The pharmacist said that they were on hold for over an hour when they did make it through.

Many of the times I refill a particular prescription, it is not on stock and takes several days to fill. Most refills we suit by phone or app and they are rarely ready by the time they say. My last prescription wasnt ready FiVE days later although in stock.

The staff here have always been very friendly to me. I cannot always say the same thing for some of the pharmacist, but there is an Asian lady there who is awesome.This awesome pharmacy staff are overworked and underpaid. They are trying desperately to do their job with as little help as possible. Its awful a company the size of CVS treats its people that way.I hate to leave a less than good rating because there are some really good people at this store. Its the corporation that needs step up to the plate and give these guys the hours, manpower, and other resources they need. Ive worked for a big box chain and I can see exactly whats up.

Came to the minute clinic, at the time of sign in it said 90 min wait. That was over 2 hours ago. I dont mind waiting when I know roughly how long..it now says the wait is another hour for lunch..I could have taken my daughter somewhere else if I would have known the true wait time..would not recommend, will not use CVS for ANY future services!!

Even though I was watched very closely by the employees here at CVS while shopping the experience here was a bit uneasy however the brand name of CVS overseen the poor customer service at this location the cashier was not professional until after my card transaction went through. Very disappointed in the service received on this day. Will not be returning here for sure. Be aware.

I called this pharmacy yesterday when leaving my physicians office to check on the prescriptions that were sent in. The automated system told me that my two prescriptions were being processed. I continued through the automated system to speak directly with an Associate. The tech who answered the phone told me again that my prescriptions were being processed and informed me that I had several people before me and it would be at least 2 hours before my prescriptions could be filled. I let the tech know that I was directed by my physician to go pick up the medication and take it now due to persisting breathing difficulty after in-office treatment. I asked if there was any way that I could get my medication earlier than the estimated 2 hours. The tech told me that she would not bump my order because it would be unfair to the people whose orders had been called in before mine. It would not be fair to push my order in front of those of sick babies and people who we already in cue. I told her I was not asking for unfair treatment in my favor but was only asking for recognition that this was an extenuating circumstance. She again told me she would not help me any sooner then my position in cue. I then asked her to please forward my prescriptions to the Haw River CVS and she said she would. I asked if she could do that now, and she said yes she was going to do it now.After hanging up with her and waiting for 2 minutes I called the Haw River CVS to check on my medications. The pharmacist who answered the phone said she had no prescriptions in the system to be filled for me. She stated she found my profile but there were no prescriptions for me. She offered to call South Church Street Pharmacy to find the issue but I told her I would handle it from there and I was going directly back to South Church Street.When I arrived at South Church Street I went to the consultation window and was quickly assisted and soon speaking with the pharmacist working there at the time. He immediately began filing my medication.He stated that he was not anyone who could handle the customer complaint but that he would pass the information on to the lead pharmacist. I gave him my number and asked that the lead pharmacist call me because I wanted to know that the situation was being addressed. I was told he would be in early that afternoon and he would pass everything along. So far, more than 24 hours later, I still have received no call from that CVS. So I called the customer service number provided online to report the event.The customer service rep I spoke with was very kind and attentive and is now forwarding our report and recorded conversation to the district leader. She stated that the tech who answered the phone had no right to make the decision about the order in which they would fill prescriptions, that she is not qualified. I was told I should hear a response from them within 48 hours.I do not expect unfair treatment in my favor, but do believe in this setting an order of priority should be recognized. Not placing an adults breathing difficulty ahead of babies in distress, but certainly before someone waiting for a flu shot or someone who would not be picking up their order for hours because they went even in the same city. Other pharmacies have used a system where they full orders for clients who are waiting in store sooner. This would have been more reasonable than the decision this tech made autonomously though she was unqualified. I have always been treated very rudely by this specific tech and she has been the for years. This is a very busy site and I always have to wait a while. I do believe they are understaffed, but in this case certainly poorly trained.

CVS on South Church St is absolutely TERRIBLE!! This morning I called in a prescription and requested to have it ready 4 hours before I would actually need it because 4 out of 5 Times it will not be ready if you choose the actual time you will be picking it up. Today I sat in line for 30 minutes (hours after they confirmed it was ready) only to pull up to the window for them to tell me it wasn’t ready and to come back in 30 minutes. I was not even offered an “I’m so sorry for the inconvenience” just “it’s not ready”. I now sit in the line again behind 5 other cars in hopes that I can actually get my dogs heart medicine this time around. I’m not sure what the problem is and I know places get busy but perhaps some restructuring in the pharmacy process couldn’t hurt. The only reason I still use this pharmacy is because of the location. Other than that they have nothing going for them. Absolutely terrible. I do not recommend this place.
