Cant say enough about the superior customer service we recently received from Flow Volvo Burlington. Working with Mike, Jessica and Pam was the best experience Ive ever had in purchasing a car. All worked hard to answer every question we had and to make sure we were satisfied. Pam was waiting to greet us when we arrived, walked us through every feature that our car offered and even helped us set up the personal features! Pam made the process fun and informative - we laughed the whole time and she even stayed late to make sure she had explained everything!!!!!! We don’t live in Burlington, but we drive almost two hours one way to go to Flow Volvo when we are getting a new car. Everyone there is great, but the superstar is Pam McGann. She is knowledgeable, friendly, funny and never pushy. We can tell her what we are looking for and what price range and she always manages to make it happen. Service doesn’t end there. I’ve called her with rather odd questions in the following months and she always helps and knows the answer. I can’t say enough terrific things about her…she is truly a gem and makes car buying fun!!

My experience at this dealership was a colossal waste of time. I test drove the Certified Pre Owned vehicle I was interested on my first visit. The car had a 1 year bumper-to-bumper warranty according to two sales people. I asked them to clarify if that meant 12 months from day I purchase the car and they confirmed. The following day I spoke with the salesperson on the phone and agreed on the full asking price. I drove 45 minutes to sign the paperwork and after another salesperson said the warranty runs for “roughly” 12 months I pressed him to give me an exact date. To my surprise I found out that the warranty expires after 7 months. They were not willing to reduce the price or to extend the warranty to the promised term, which is a classic bait and switch tactic from my point of view. On top of that Jessica the sales manager was lacking basic customer service skills and was borderline rude, so I decided against the purchase. I am very disappointed and would NEVER waste my time at this dealership again or recommend them to anyone I know.

Every single aspect of this experience exceeded my expectations. I’ve purchased many vehicles over the years and never before have I experienced the Level of individual customer service that I did at Burlington Volvo. Pam was incredible and accommodating even to the point of waiting with me for 2+ weeks while another dealership held me hostage regarding releasing my paperwork so I could trade the vehicle I had just purchased from them. Management should really do a better job with communicating to their staff and customers! Due to the lack of communication, I regret ever visiting this location. Len Redd is the friendliest, most helpful service adviser I have ever had the pleasure of leaving my Volvo with and picking it up from. I’ve talked with some of Len’s technicians, too. I wish I’d gotten (or could remember) the name of the young man yesterday, he so thoroughly and clearly and reassuringly briefed me on his findings with regard to the remote key locking problem that had prompted my visit to Burlington. Flow Auto also has the most comfortable, best appointed customer lounge around. Its dark roasted coffee is my hot beverage of choice.

My wife and I have learned over these past years that it is prudent to look to Dray for the best in Sales and John for the best in Service. Flow in Burlington, NC has it all. Over these many years we’ve bought a VW, several Subaru’s and three Volvo’s. All excellent. For comfort and luxury Volvo has it all. We bought a 2020 XC60 Momentum this past New Years Eve. We recently purchased a new 2019 XC90 from Flow Volvo in Burlington, NC. I have always hated the whole car shopping scene. We test drove a similar Volvo in Charlotte where we live and began negotiating with them on a price and a trade in value for my vehicle. This was exceedingly painful as there didnt appear to be any one person who could say yes or no, with all of my questions and counteroffers having to go to another man behind a curtain. After asking a question of one of this dealerships representatives, I was told like all red blooded Americans, I really dont like to work very hard. Your question would cause me to have to do some work. The question I asked? I only asked for a copy of the window stickers for the two vehicles they had that I was interested in buying to be able to see and compare the options between them before making a decision. During this time I was made aware of Flow Volvo in Burlington, NC which was about a two hour drive from my home in Charlotte. They answered my questions, agreed to my price and trade in value all over the phone and I was able to get in and out of their store in less than two hours with the vehicle I wanted and at the price I needed. Edgar and Lex were easy to work with, but I have to have a special call out to Dray Daiber. He was attentive without being pushy. He was very genuine and a true delight to work with. I have purchased many vehicles over the last 30 years and I have never had a better experience than at Flow Volvo. Lexx and Jason were extremely professional, patient, fair, honest and spent a lot of time with us explaining the vehicles features, warranty. There were no high pressure sales tactics rather they clearly view the experience as establishing a relationship with their customers which they hope will be longstanding. They introduced us to the service team and went well beyond and above what I ever expected. In addition, I checked every other Volvo dealer in North Carolina and visited some. I negotiated prices with 5 and Flow beat all prices of other dealers. In sum, it was an amazing experience and I would highly, highly recommend them.

So I went online and found my 2019 XC90 in the color and model I wanted. I let them know my OTD price and they met me where I was. Then drove very slowly through the pre-owned vehicles. ...nobody...I did later return with my wife and stopped to look at one car outside together. We’ve purchased 3 Volvo’s from Flow over the last 5 yrs., and have been impressed with how easy and professional it has been. Each purchase we have worked with Dray Daiber, who is extremely easy to work with and makes the processs seamless. Our most recent purchase of a 2019 XC90 was literally done over the phone after taking a test drive earlier in the day. By the time we got back to the dealership to pick up the car, all the paperwork was done and all we needed to do was sign and drive. We also are happy with the service provided on our other Volvos, as John Brinson and his team always provide a loaner for us to drive, even bringing it to our offices to pick up the car and return and pick up the loaner once the service is done. My wife and I are very pleased!
