Well back in August of 2019, my husband and I were in need of a 2500 to haul our new travel trailer. We had been looking at different places and I had my heart set on a dodge. We went to a dealership and checked out a few of their trucks, but when it came to the more expensive ones, they didn’t think we could afford it even though they didn’t ask us many questions. We kept looking at pictures of other trucks at other places and I kept seeing this beautiful silver F250 at ByDesign. However, I still kept thinking about a dodge. So we went to a dodge dealership just down the road from ByDesign (literally right next door). We got the same type of treatment there when looking at a new dodge. So my husband sent a message to ByDesign about the silver F250. He received a message back from a guy named Brian who said oh the truck is amazing and it even looked better in person. So we had that “oh another salesman” type attitude while we were on our way to see the truck. We pulled in and I almost died. The truck was sitting right in the middle of the lot all shiny and gorgeous. Brian came walking out and I had to stay in our car because I was too excited to see the truck. When I did finally get out, Brian just started chatting with me like he knew me or something. Pretty sure it’s that small town influence he has. There was absolutely no pressure, he chatted with our kids, just like they were his own. Answered all of our questions even told us things we didn’t even think to ask. We ended up purchasing Bessie that day.A year later, September 2020, my husband and I decided we wanted a bigger truck and it just so happened that ByDesign had a beautiful Black F350 they had just put on the lot. I text Brian, after hours thinking he would respond in the morning, pretty sure he was shocked since it had only been a year since we purchased Bessie. He responded and said it was available and he would call me first thing in the morning. He did and I told him what I was thinking as far as numbers and that I was gonna give him Bessie back. He said ok and what time can you be here today. I got there around 4pm, he gave me a great deal on Bessie as a trade in, and at 5:15pm we walked out with Juniper. As long as Brian continues to work for ByDesign, I will continue to purchase my cars from him. Stephanie, deals with other paperwork and such and is just as sweet and kind. Great experience especially if you want to be treated like family and not feel taken advantage of. I truly trust Brian’s judgement and honesty about the vehicles he has on the lot. I’m sure we will be talking again soon because I have been contemplating another vehicle purchase. Well and I gotta know how the family is doing!

I didnt get up this morning expecting to have a basically brand new Jeep Wrangler! Im the Mom of 2 grown boys and it was time for me to downsize. We had the pleasure of recently purchasing a vehicle from this company. I must admit this was the least stressful purchase of any vehicle we have ever made. Kurt was the main person we dealt with through the process.The moment we arrived it was a low key non pressured process. The vehicle we were interested was very clean and ready to go for a test drive. Once we were sure we made the correct choice of vehicles we needed to agree on the purchase price. That took very little time to reach an agreed upon price. The rest was finishing the paper work.I would say from the time we arrived to the time we drove off with our new purchase was two hours. We traveled from Lynden to Burlington to look at used cars. We drove by By Design Auto and noticed a couple of cars we wanted to look at. We dealt with Jason. We took a BMW for a test drive, negotiated a price, and bought it. The paperwork process was quick and painless. Probably the quickest I have ever bought a car. No having to go from office to office and sit around and wait like at many big car dealerships. It was pretty awesome to be able to buy a car in under 1 1/2 hours. (It might have been even quicker). We even received our new WA plates in just over 2 weeks. I have never got them that quick from a large dealership. We love the car; so far so good. I would definitely recommend this auto dealership.

Went to look at 2007 vw Jetta for my 21 year old daughter. Car has 105000 miles on it. Trunk lid was broken, body damage on driver side front fender and passenger rear, seat heater does not work. According to KBB, in pristine condition its worth $1700. In fair, $1100-$1500. Nada, average it jumps up to $2500. Trying to sell it for $5700?Update: Sales manager called. The people at By Design are great. The salesman was helpful and answered my questions when I was there. My opinion, after looking up this cars value, i do believe asking price is crazy high, especially with the damage on it. But I would go back if I found the right vehicle and they are willing to work with me

I am an out of state buyer and purchased a 2010 Infiniti QX56 from By Design Auto Group. They made the process very easy from start to finish. They even picked us up from the airport in our vehicle so I was able to drive it before finalizing everything and had everything checked out for our long drive home. When a mechanical issue arose while we were a few states away I contacted them right away. Both Jason and Stephanie were extremely helpful and genuinely concerned that we were stranded far from home. Excellent Family Owned Boutique Dealer - We recently purchased a 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited from Jason and Stephanie at By Design Auto Group in Burlington Wa. We were impressed by the quality of vehicles on their lot, I think that were pretty picky. Looks like they hand select the best cars and trucks for sale. The customer service climate was very laid back and easy going. We also liked their website. It was pretty detailed and had lots of pictures for each vehicle. This was the last lot we had visited that day. You should make it the first lot you visit and your search will probably be over. Jason seemed very knowledgeable about his inventory off the top of his head and let us know of any repairs that had been done and any that might be needed. We would definitely trust them to send our friends and family to shop with them.

Even though I didnt buy a car from them I have to give a good review because my first car lot experience down the road was awful and by design was going to be my make or break. Brian and his co worker were SO friendly very personable and not pushy what so ever. My test driver experiance was great also. If there ever got exactly what I am looking for with in my price range in stock Id buy from them in a heart beat.

Buying my Silverado from By Design Auto could not have been easier. Jason and his wife were very nice people and made the experience very pleasant. The truck I bought is absolutely beautiful and I get compliments on it daily. There is not a thing wrong with the truck mechanically. Jason was very straight forward and easy to do business with. The paperwork went smooth as he had everything ready to sign and drive off in my truck! I will be visiting in the future!
