Love this place. Was here 4 years ago and got the perfect chandelier for our B&Bs parlor. They were so helpful that we returned when we traveled to Burlington again and found another great chandelier for an upcoming remodel of our bathroom. The staff were all friendly and helpful.

This place has the coolest, hippest collection of lighting anywhere... and the staff is not only creative and helpful but they all have the patience of saints. Over the years, I have purchased several fixtures and many lampshades from them and for some reason, each purchase caused some emotional response that the staff helped my husband and I work through. Couples counseling, anyone? 🤣 thank you very much!

Went in today with a broken lamp figuring Id have to leave it for a week or ten days. The nice counter lady gave it a look and said all I needed was an on/off socket. She then proceeded to effect the repair. I was in and out in 10 minutes. This was on a Saturday! Thanks Lamp Shop!

This store is so cool, and its staff is equally helpful! It has a wide range of lamps to choose from, and more finials than anyone could imagine even exist. Fun to look at! Youll be delighted, and pleased when you visit, and do business with, this excellent local store.

I have a lamp that needs fixing, and had passed by this shop before. I knew they sold lamps but wasnt sure if they repaired them, but was in the area and had the lamp in my car this afternoon, so stopped in. I walked up to the counter, where there were 2 employees standing at a work bench less than 10 feet away and with a clear line of sight to the counter; they were engaged in a conversation among themselves and I stood at the counter for a few minutes completely ignored. I was eventually able to get the attention of one of them with some arm waving, and asked if they repaired lamps. I got a rather short and irritated reply, but thought fair enough, they are at a work bench clearly fixing lamps, so that was maybe a dumb question and let it go. I was told to bring the lamp in and theyd give me a quote, so I walked out to my car, grabbed the lamp and was back at the counter in literally less than a minute. I proceeded to once again stand at the counter completely ignored while the 2 employees carried on with their conversation. At this point I was kind of intrigued to see how long this would last so just stood there. Eventually, one of the women walked over to the side of the counter where I was standing, grabbed something from a shelf and walked back over to the workbench without ever making eye contact, saying anything or in any way acknowledging that there was a customer standing right in front of her. After about 5 minutes my curiosity waned and I walked out the door. After reading their posted rules by the register, I get that theyre probably going for snarky and ironically rude as part of their wannabe-hipster shtick, but theyre not very good at it and today it lost them a customer.
