This place is the best when it comes to a certain type of gear. Dan in customer service/shipping is always very helpful and they get my stuff to me way faster than any other online retailer. They have the hippest stuff but theyre not snobby about it. Totally accessible and immensely knowledgeable about music gear. I ordered something from a store based out of New York and it took them 5 days to even put the order in so I cancelled and ordered from Perfect Circuit. They got it to me fast (theyre in CA, Im in GA). If youre into synths, modular, guitar pedals, sequencers, and other cool esoteric music gear, get it from here.

I ordered a pair of Ortofon Concorde MK2 Digital cartridges online. Their price was the lowest I saw, $47 cheaper than Amazon. Free shipping, arrived in three days via USPS. The cartridges work and sound great, everything was perfect. Glad I stumbled upon Perfect Circuit, I’ll definitely order from them again!

I never felt so embarrassed. This rude sales man asked if he can have the small hand bag of my wife. How rude. Bad experience. Everyone just looked at us and made me feel like I was going to steal a synth. Yeah like thats what we were born to do. Never again. Why not have a security guard at the door and have him or he she check bags upon coming out instead of making us feel like criminals in front of customers. How dare you. I didnt say anything, we were cool but will write a bad review. I never felt embarrassed.

I just LOVE Perfect Circuit. I dont live in the area, so I always order online, but their service has been great, their prices very reasonable, and their availability of modules excellent, especially compared to some other fairly popular sellers in my city. And the people are very knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.Today, I got a couple new modules, my 5th order in a few months, and it came a whole sheet of new stickers that, frankly, are pretty cool. That was the last straw for me...it was time to tell the world that Perfect Circuit is a 5-star company that you should buy from. So, just pretend that I told you that.

Im playing a show in Burbank this weekend and needed a couple things and chose Perfect Circuit because they are located close to the venue. Their in store pickup is also very convenient. When I entered the store this afternoon to pick up my order I was ignored by the staff except for sidelong glances. The person who eventually helped me was rude and asked to see my ID like I was attempting to steal the two inexpensive and very esoteric items I had ordered. I felt that my business was not appreciated or wanted. My experience in this store today left me with a very bad impression and I will not return.

If you have a particular shopping list for cables and other small items, I recommend placing your order online for pickup as much of the stock is in the back. Once you are there you can browse and demo to your heart’s content. Delivery works great too!

Nice team although you need to be there and observe the team explaining the products to other customers to be able to choose the one . bcz in this shop as i tried before . not all attendants are of same level of interest expertise or will to help. some have knowledge of brochure and some are players. pick and choose the adviser before the equipment. if you re a pro then it makes the whole thing very easy and the shop is very filled with wuality modules and great service .

Perfect circuit is a staple of the electronic music community. They have bountiful displays and demos of almost any hot ticket synth you can think of along with boutique pedals. They let you try out just about anything they sell, their staff is extremely knowledgeable, and their demo/learning events are insightful and only grown bigger with time. I highly recommend a visit for any musician its a playground for synth nerds.

Everyone here is super knowledgeable and chill. You can ask them about random equipment/synths/keyboards you bought on the internet and they have probably already tried it before to give you insight. You can come here and tryout everything-all day if you wanted.

Needed a little nudging on where to go with my Eurorack case - Dan in support helped me out and set me up with a Per4mer and cabling needs for all my Elektron gear to get things in order! Not my first Perfect Circuit purchase and certainly wont be the last!

Im not sure how I could be comfortable ordering eurorack modules without a fantastic store to try them out at. Such a wide selection, friendly and knowledge staff, and great curated events. Be prepared to spend a good amount of money here!

Perfect Circuit has taken care of me for countless years. Ive never once entered the store, but the staff treat me like family over the phone, online and through emails. Never had a problem with an order, they pack great, and ship fast even though Ive never tasked for it. Im embarrassed to say how much Ive spent, but Ill say this, once you noodle you never go back.

Everything is great until you need to do a return. I shipped back a defective item which they refused to acknowledge there was an issue with despite video evidence so they could pass all of the shipping costs to the customer. Also, this process took about a month to complete with many emails back and forth. That being said Ive already made a detailed account which you can find in the BBB search of the company. Having the best price isnt everything. There are many other great companies to buy from like Control Voltage, Detroit Modular, and many more who will actually care about the customer experience full circle rather than just taking your money without regard to your satisfaction. Also, they use Klarna as a payment processor which Ive found to be just as bad. Like I said its all good until a return enters the picture. Look it up. There are multiple other reviews on Yelp and also in forums with other people that had the exact same issue. Never buying from this poor excuse of a company ever again. I dont care how good their prices are or what they have. Im out $165 plus a $200+ the payment processor is trying to collect from me for shipping to and from.

THIS STORE IS LEGIT!!This is my go to location for all things synth related. Over the last few years I have spent literally thousands of dollars here. In fact, there have been multiple occasions where an item was cheaper elsewhere and I still chose to go through Perfect Circuit because of their customer service, selection, and just general atmosphere. I live an hour away from them too (if I’m lucky and there’s no traffic) and I still find myself cruising over here to check things out whenever I have some spare time. Highly recommended. Special shout out to Lisa who I’m pretty sure handles the online stuff, always in a super good mood, always has helped me work out whatever problems I had. That’s not to detract from the employees in the store, Julian and one other gentleman whose name I’m totally spacing on right now come to mind as people who have always helped me quickly, professionally, and with a smile on their face. If I could give more stars I would. I’ll stop rambling now heheh...

They got some interesting toys Guitar Center doesnt have and knowledgeable staff. The modular gear can get out of hand if you let it, but its not their fault... you wouldnt blame a crack dealer for introducing you to crack, would you? Exactly. It could potentially have a negative financial repercussions however... in my case when the bank came asking for the money, my attorney negotiated it down to me giving up either the house im behind on payments on or the eurorack that I rarely play but freaking looks cool as heck.... lets just say we sorta live under the bridge I guess is the medical term.... the kids love it though. You have to fight off the homeless corona zombies once in a while, but I think its worth it. Anyways I think the library security just noticed i sneaked in after being banned for life from anything deemed public property. Anyways gotta run and prob check on my rack and be mesmerized by the complexity and beauty of it.

Lisa in customer service is the most responsive, honest, and helpful person I have ever dealt with while purchasing online. Perfect Circuit was upfront about a mistaken order cancellation that led to a mistaken shipment of a limited edition item. Lisa apologized about the mistake, gave me options on how to deal with the situation on my end, and educated me on potential appreciation of the item if I chose to keep the order. AND THEY DISCOUNTED IT. Music stores can be intimidating when youre just ok at playing, but Perfect Circuit makes everyone feel like they are part of Daft Punk.

Modular synths are a small demographic of the musical equipment genre.. or so I thought! This music store blows the doors off of any competitors including the big box Guitar Center and Sam Ash. The owner truly cares about every product he stocks. Perfect Circuit throws great demo events of new products all the time with free pizza! Need a keyboard or drum machine fixed? They do that too! One stop shop that has heart.

Great service and always have the hard to find gear that stores like GC would never carry. Not sure what the fraudulent comment was, but that was the main reason for me commenting...I want to make sure quality music shops like this one stay in business so I dont have to always order online and wait a week for items to show up.

Worst customer service Ive experienced from an online music store... I received a defective pedal and called the next business day to explain the issue. They said it wasnt a problem just ship it back and they would issue a refund. After paying to send back the defective pedal they said they couldnt find the issue and they would give me a refund minus a restocking fee of $35 (a detail they failed to mention on the phone). Or they could ship the defective pedal back to me at my expense.I litterally received the pedal tried it once, noticed the issue and returned it. Cost me $35 plus another $7 to ship it back. An expensive lesson to NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH PERFECT CIRCUIT AUDIO!

There are precious few synthesizer stores where you can really get your hands on and try things out. This is particularly true of eurorack modular equipment. But perfectcircuitaudio is a great environment to try gear out and then pick it up to take home. They also do a great mail-order business.
