Great prices but for Halloween you have to shop early since everything sells fast

Recently visited in due of a baby shower. Boomed to not being able to find variety and enough. Hardly any for a boy theme. Hopefully good management comes soon. Store is in a very popular area , you have all to become successful

I was in this burbank location today in a rush coming from work had other things to do before I get home and some guy helped me his name was AARON he was such a big help we need more people like this guy very friendly and helpful.

I never leave reviews but I really wanted to recognize Arlene at the Burbank location. I’m in NYC and needed help arranging a delivery in the Burbank district. Arlene was polite and professional. She went ABOVE and BEYOND to help me coordinate a really special delivery to one of LAFD’s newest Firefighters. Thank you so much Arlene! You’re the best!! (Corporate: She deserves a raise!)

My cashier was great after he was directed to the register. One female doing balloons was friendly and busy, another checker up front was packaging something. A female was pushing a cart with probably go backs and was clearly unhappy and behaved that way. She was fussing about items in the cart and made a statement to the checker I was going to rip him a new one if that was his phone. I was appalled at her remark especially since I was in earshot. I found lots of fun items for my grandson 21st birthday.

Everyone who works at this location is so kind and helpful. They go out of their way to help and a small example is that I bought some balloons for my daughters birthday this week - the day after purchasing, some sort of tussle happened and a hole appeared in the larger number balloon, resulting in many tears from the birthday girl. I brought it back to the store & they gave me a new one no questions asked! Ill always purchase balloons and party supplies here because they are all so nice.

A top tier destination for seasonal decor! Theyre one of the first spots to carry Halloween and Christmas decorations, so Im all about it. Plus they have alllllll the costumes.

They are very clean and extremely helpful, great doing business with them today. They had a lot of Christmas items I needed for great price, guy was super cool and helpful.

Great place to find things for your parties but a little bit pricey. The day I was there they were running low on stock but still managed to find whatever I needed. The staff was polite and helped me finding what I needed.

The people here are so nice. I brought in my own balloons that we ordered online for my moms birthday. We traveled to Universal City and Party City inflated them for us. They were quick and efficient and opened at 7am that day!

Horrible experience. I was over change 7 times for an item. Then they forgot to put some items in my bag. Went back got a refund and again they forgot to put my items in the bag. After calling and them saying they would hold it, went the following day and they had no idea what I was talking about. During that time purchased another item and AGAIN they forgot to give it to me.

Excellent variety and good prices

Right now due to covid, last time I went on a Saturday there was line. Before that, I went like 2 weeks before during the weekday and there was no line. Overall good service and a lot to see.

The range in quality of customer service varies greatly. With regard to balloons, order well in advance especially if you pick up on a Saturday or Sunday.

Didnt care for the location in a small shopping center & their selection of Harry Potter decorations was just ok. Its a smaller than average store.

Party City is a great place to pick up accessories for pretty much any party you want to throwpretty much any type of party I went there with my wife to pick up some party favors for her daughters 21st birthday

The worst customer service ever there were 3 employees just talking to each other it took me more than 15 minutes to pay this.On top of that I left two balloons that I wanted because they told me they were going to take 50 to 60 minutes to inflate them .

They offer curbside pick up due to the pandemic. I called 4 times no answer I had to get off my car make line to get my items that I have already paid for please don’t offer customers this option if you guys can’t even answer the phone I waited 10 min outside to give them a chance maybe they are busy . So upset with this trip I made.

Havent been to this location in quite some time but I went today and was unable to find anything for my sons 21st birth day they had everything for a female but nothing for a male everything I was looking for was not in stock I had to find somebody to help me I did not like this experience this time hopefully they get together

By far the worst customer service I’ve experienced. They offer the curbside pick up, which is not exactly the case. Tried calling several times, no luck. After 20 minutes, I go to the store personally and still have to make line for a few minutes. 3 cashiers, the phones ring, and yet they ignore them. Not very happy with the customer service at this store.

Thia store has ok merchandise. My biggest gripe is that they seem to always be out of helium?!? Its a party supply store, wide selection of balloons, and yet every time I go there, they are out of helium. Seems like that should never happen to a party supply store. I could be wrong, maybe its just the one I go to. Everything else is good enough.

I needed a quick hat for a costume. They had something that worked, although a variety of hat sizes would be nice. Upon checkout I was informed I could get a discount if I provided my email address. I agreed and the clerk went on his cell phone and was trying to find out if he could get me a discount. After a couple of minutes of confused searching for a discount, he came up with nothing. I think better training in this matter could help speed along the checkout process. I really didnt need a discount that bad.

Party city...whats it known for? party supplies and balloons to get when youre throwing birthday party. party supply selection was great. i came in the morning so the store was still neat and organized. but didnt get balloons. why? cuz they didnt have helium!

Good stuff for Halloween and props.

Really disappointed. Yesterday was my gender reveal party and person in the store who did the surprise balloon left a lot of glitters on it. So surprise was spoiled. (((( I was waited for it for a months and this kind of fail right before the party.

Huge selection of party materials. Friendly, courteous, and helpfull staff. Very organized store making it easy to find what you need. Ample parking. Overall good experience.

Most stuff is very pricey and can easily be found in other stores like Wal-Mart or the 99 Cent store for lower prices. But if you are searching for something specific than this may be the best place to find it. I brought in my own helium balloon for them to add air to. They charged me $1, so not bad at all for that service.

Its okay but very small and parking is for the pits...esp around Halloween time...i would suggest going there b4 Halloween....along with any other major get to gether!! Its in a small very small mini mall....along with petco...dominoes...subway and a beauty supply...so as yu can see Not very good!

This place is tucked away in a strip mall and a little hard to notice. The store is pretty organized and surprisingly large. Everything seems reasonable (for fun yet low quality decorations, etc., that will be thrown out the next day) but prices add up fast... The staff isnt particularly knowledgeable or friendly, but they got the job done.

They have great selection on all sorts of stuff. Their staff is OK with the approach of buy it & get going. No rudeness, but could be better with delegating.

Need party supplies? Just want some balloons? Either way, Party City has you covered. Also good for last minute supplies.

I had visited your location in North Hollywood to buy some balloon packs, we asked the person working there if we can come back and fill the balloons, which the cashier responded Yes. We came back today with new news from a new cashier saying that we wont be able to fill the balloons and that we needed to pay $1 each for each fill, I find this very unprofessional and unacceptable that this is the level of customer service your North Hollywood location provides. I thought party City was a place you could trust to get your party needs but now with this shocked customer service I dont know if I will be back.

Great if youre open to changing your ideas. They dont always have exactly what Im looking for but there is usually some alternative. Very little parking

Found everything I was looking for at really good prices. Price in every income bracket. Friendly staff eager to help.

It takes a lot to disappoint me but these guys take forever to get your balloons ready. They will tell you to come back after 30–45 min only to have you waiting more when your arrive. One time I waited almost an hour and when I finally see my batch completed, I approached so they would be handed to me. The employee blatantly stared at me while I can see my bunch floating in the air waiting for me and he never asked if he could help me or if that batch was mine. I waited to see how long it would take him to realize it was mine. Another 10min went by and he rather play with the helium nozzle than get me my order.

Not so good... didnt had a great supply for Jurassic Park the theme I was looking for... found some balloons and I planned to pay for the blowing which by the way is $1.00 per balloon! The when I was ready to pay I let know the employee that I need to pick up the balloons in 2 days and he respond that they are not taking PRE ORDERS on balloons just walk ins... that I would have to call before arriving to make sure they had helium!!! PLEASE!!! I was going to order only 13 balloons, I think this is RIDICULOUS from a party store!

Great store with friendly staff and a huge variety of party supplies. They also have Halloween costumes in stock.I personally don’t like the store layout and the low ceilings toward the back of the store, but I assume it was just like that when they rented the place out. I will be coming back for my Halloween costume.

This store has everything for your parties. Party city employees rock. They are super helpful. It gets busy on the weekends. You can place your order and pick it up later on.

I am a peer counselor at a non profit in Hollywood CA . I called the store to ask for a donation of balloons for an event we were having , and they connected me to the store manager Arlene . Before I could finish she told me they would donate 2 dozen helium balloones . She asked me what colors and what colors for the ribbons . She was so professional yet friendly . Because of her nice personality I would highly recommend this store !! Yea and thank you Arlene !

There was only one register open. There was a line of customers with at least a 30 minute wait. I wanted a single balloon blown up for me. After I waited in that long line, they told me that Id have to wait an hour to an hour and half for that single balloon that I wanted to purchase. Are you kidding me? Horrible service. They could have saved me time by making an announcement regarding balloons. I walked out without buying anything.

Bad Customer, most items that are in the website you wont find in the store and if you ask the employee they respond you with rude answer. Most in employees in the store are immature they seem to be 23yrs old or younger. Sometimes it smells like mariguana in the back of the store. The store seems to be clean but they can do better some items are on the floor or just stuff on the shelf even though it doesnt belong their.

Was returning a few items to this Burbank Party City location this afternoon that I had purchased last Friday afternoon at the Porter Ranch Party City location, and thought that it would be a quick trip. Boy, was I wrong! I waited in a line behind 1 lady, and a couple who were buying a lot of items. Another cashier opened another register to take the lady in front of me, and then, I noticed that he took another lady who got in line near him, who, frankly, wasnt the next person in line. I was! Oh, and the girl who was buying a lot of things actually had trouble with her card in the machine, so it took a while. Yay! When I FINALLY got up to the register, it seemed like all was going well with my returns, at first, but then, their register froze up on them. The cashier asked the guy near her, who was blowing up balloons, if he could come help her. He tried, but could not. He left to go in the back, for some reason, and never returned. So, she and I stood there for the longest, not doing anything, except her answering another customers questions about balloons. Eventually, her register unfroze, so she called the other cashier to come over to unlock the computer, and we had to do the return transaction all over again. I felt badly for my mom and sister who were waiting in the car while I was originally just going to run in.. I dont know if it is because the store is older and smaller than other Party City stores that I have been to in Los Feliz and Porter Ranch, but it just doesnt seem like they have it all together there. The kids working in the store are nice enough, but its all very disorganized and disjointed, as far as how it is being managed and run. It was pretty ridiculous. I hope that they get some new registers soon. My cashier said that that register does that randomly, which is really stupid. Get an update soon, please, Burbank Party City!

I went a few days before Halloween and the store was absolutely packed, but the employees remained composed and the store was surprisingly well stocked.

They don’t have 7/7 wall decor balloons I asked. Staff doesnt seem to break a sweat yo help. Such a let down.

Worse place to go during holloween. Extremely disorganized and they were getting mad that we constantly keep asking for the numbers even though they didnt have an out of stock label over them. At the end they never locked for the last one we asked, the lady continued telling us they are checking even though other people where somehow getting there items. After waiting more than 25 min we decided to leave.

Chronically understaffed and nearly non-existent customer service (to be expected when the assistant manager is paid only .50 per hour more than the part-time help!). The prices are high and their inventory is not much different from Target or Walmart.

Long lines and cold staff members. Not worth the prices or the lack of friendliness there.

Party City sucks! I only went there because our Pavilions stopped carrying party supplies. I literally stood in line for 24 minutes to pay for two packages of birthday napkins and two packages of candles. If there were ANY other party store in Burbank I would go there.

Liked the idea of the custom to choose from paper and then have them give it to you but still short staffIt took me 15 minutes to get a price check
