I have been coming here for my basic oil change for the past 3 years but this week will be my last.Monday I got a full synthetic oil change.By Wednesday night all the oil had leaked out of my car in my garage. Thankfully my roommate saw the abnormally large leak and helped me out with the entire situation. I was unaware it was leaking and unfortunately I did some big drives those 3 days. I have a fairly new car and never in my life had an oil leak before.So I went first thing Thursday morning to get it checked out, they promptly got to work on it which is great. But the greatness ends there. After 30 minutes the guy came to the front and ripped out a voucher for a free car wash and handed it to me. Literally no apology, no explaination, no information, no admission of fault. A flipping FREE CAR WASH? I had to ask what the problem was, and he replied nonchalantly that a bolt was loose. I probably drove over 200 miles with no oil in my car, and far worse could have happened, and a far more expensive fix could have been needed, and he treated it like it wasnt a big deal. Unfortunately I feel like their customer service in this entire situation was hot garbage.I know this was an easy $80 whatever oil change, but a customer is a customer and I am a firm believer in word of mouth and supporting local businesses. I would never recommend them again at this point. The sad part is, I just dont think they really cared. Maybe I should have been more upset, and demanded more, but it was 8am and I hadnt had my coffee yet. But seriously its not that I expected a refund, but treating me as if this wasnt a serious problem, and kind of brushing me off and sending me on my way with a BS free car wash voucher is kind of a lazy.

The car wash across the street highly recommended these guys, so I went there to ask if they could open the stuck sliding wooden door in the center console of my Mercedes SUV. They could have said they have to dismantle the entire center console and charge a fortune, but instead used a stiff wire to slip in there to remove a mask that got caught way back inside. No damage! These guys arent looking to gouge anyone and will use common sense to fix things as inexpensively as possible. After they finished, the owner, Harut, asked me what I wanted to pay, and I said $25. He said OK and that was that. I cant imagine what the dealership would have done to me, so Im so grateful to Magnolia Island Car Care!

New ownership! Farut was amazing. I took my BMW in and Farut was very professional and gave me a great price on the work. Once completed he showed me step by step what he did. Very honest and professional. So happy I finally found my new mechanic! Highly recommend this place.

Bad customer service. My girlfriend went to check her battery that she bought from there. It was sold to her in August of 2016 and an employee told her it was a 5 yr warranty. He told her he would not have to see her until 2021. The employee told her it was the best battery the Megatron II. Basically took advantage. She went today and the employee Eddie said the warranty was 30 months. We told him that was not the case and that the employee that represented his business lied. He said that person was fired and there was nothing he could do. I asked for the manager number or schedule and he stated that he did not have a number and did not know his schedule. Eddie was not professional and at least they could take care of the customer since it was their employee who gave false information even though they fired him. We found the paperwork they gave and it said 4 yrs. we called the manufacturer and they were professional and told us to bring the battery and they would take care of us.

The new owner Harut is the single best thing to have happened to this place, he is knowledgeable, trustworthy (which says a lot about a mechanic) and he will tell you to your face if he can fix it, and if he cant he will know who can! I will only be going here from now on

AVOID this place! Came here for an oil change and ended up getting my car towed back later that night for overheating! Car had been running like a champ before that. Of course they said it was just coincidental timing (other reviews also mention this coincidence). They did a check of the radiator and some pressure tests and said the radiator overflow reservoir had a crack and wanted to charge me $300 to replace that. They listed the price at about $50 higher than the cost of the part from other mechanics. At this point, it all felt shady and my other mechanic quoted me almost half that price for the same work when I called, so I ended up paying $70 for this first diagnostic and left. I took my car to another mechanic and he checked for the same leak. He worked on it and couldnt find any issue other than that the cap wasnt tightened all the way. He replaced my cap and tested my car and said he didnt see any problems. As a woman, the way they gloss over your questions and concerns is appalling. When I went back to request a refund for the incorrect diagnostic, I was told by a different mechanic that it must have been a mistake because the reservoir wouldnt cause overheating. So either they had no idea what they were doing or he was trying to scam me. Either way, its not good. He laughed at me and my concerns, and made no attempt to understand or help. So now Im $130 in on what should have been literally just a quarter turn and $15 worth of coolant. I wont be back here and will be warning people, especially women, to stay away! Much better mechanics around!

**UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP**Harut took over the shop in February and my visit March 27th 2020 was my first visit of the new year. I went to replace the breaks and rotors on my 2011 Toyota RAV4. The new leadership in the shop is all about education and professionalism. Wait time was 2.5 hours and cost just over $300 for front side.
