Dealer prices can be scary, but I found out they are equal in price as apposed to having the same repair over and over again. Meaning pay the dealer price, and get it done correctly. I dealt with their Service Department... I have to say I have very happy with the quality of their work .. had a headlight replaced.. it was done in a very efficient manner.. I had a minor hiccup with the installation... they fixed the issue quickly and for free... I highly recommend the Service Department at Community Chevrolet... as for Vic... hell take great care of you and your vehicle!

Well. After 3 days started hearing a deep noise from the rear end at low speed around corners. dealer said axle has a lot of play. Its normal. No its not! Brand new truck should not make any noise in my opinion! This is my 3rd Silverado and I never had any problem like this.The dealer would not fix the issue. When I said the give my down payment back and Ill return the truck they just ignore my texts and calls! I have a case investigation with Chevrolet regarding this issue!

Got off on the wrong foot with Carlos, but he was absolutely correct with his “doom and gloom” prognosis, which I doubted! Suffice to say my 2014 Volt is now running as if I just now bought it. Took my truck in for a transmission problem, oil change and a problem with the tail gate button and camera. My truck was there for almost a week until I got word that someone damaged the tailgate making it unrepairable and that my truck needed to go to the body shop. I asked for a rental while the truck got fixed but they had to order parts and I needed to return the rental and pick up my truck. It was supposed to take a week were now on week 3 with no communication at all. Ive called numerous times and nobody can help or they say they will call me back. My truck tailgate is still not repaired and the truck still jolts like when I brought it in and Community Chevrolet and they checked it for a week. Horrible way to do business and take care of customers

This dealer sell me Chevrolet volt car with Brocken tire. When i ask decide this problem - dealer charge my like repair but put air in my tire only. Next day my tire is flat. I must go too another shop and pay again. Specialist found problem - on the contact place tire and wheel have paper sticker. After remove sticker my tire is good.

I made an appointment with Community Chevrolet 2 days prior to take my 92 Cadillac Brougham because i was having issues with idling. I specifically said it is 92 Cadillac Brougham and the person who helped me over the phone said yes we can service your car. On the day of my appointment i took my car in the morning before my appointment time the representative said you have to leave your car for one or two day because we are real busy, i said i have an appointment. I don like to leave my car over night ( I had previous bad experience before with one of the dealers, one of the employees had taken my car home). later, the Rep. comes and said sorry we cant service your car because your car is a Cadillac and we dont have manual for it you need to take it to Cadillac dealer. I said are you kidding me? this is Chevy engine. He said his manager said they cant help me with my problem. He wasnt helpful at all and rude.

Do not come to this dealership! They lie and scam you.I wish I could give them ZERO star. Here is my very bad experience with them:Less than 2 months ago I bought a used 3yo Chevy from this dealership and Oscar Gutierrez was the sales person who did the paperwork. He promised to oil change and detail my car (inside and outside, even buff the hood which has a small scratch) but because the Service department was closed on Sunday, he said they will call me early next week to schedule those services. I asked him to put those service requests on paper and in contract but he said there is nothing to be worried about, he is a Sales Manager and not lying, there were couple of other people there witnessed that along with Financial manager (Nadia Haddad), even she said “Don’t worry, we will take care of our customers”.Next week passed and they didn’t call me, I called and asked Oscar and he said Oh Sorry, I will take care of it today. 2 days passed and someone called and scheduled the service (oil change and detailing) for next week. I took the car, they changed the oil but didn’t wash the car, saying They do not wash car and because there is no written request they do not do that. I asked for Oscar but they said he is on vacation, I asked for on-site manager who was Manny Diaz and he refused to honor his coworker’s word, said we can not do it.I called Oscar Gutierrez several times, he didn’t answer and later he texted me “I will come back to work next week and take care of it”. He came back and we spoke on the phone, he said bring you car next Saturday at 9:30 and we will wash it (detailing inside and outside), I drove there on Saturday morning and he wasn’t there, I called him but didn’t answer, the manager on-site was Manny Diaz (again) and he refused to wash my car again. Later Oscar texted me (I called him several times and left messages) that he is not available and can not help me. REALLY??? This is how it should be for a loyal customer who bought a car and you guys don’t want to honor your words and promises? It is just a car wash!I am sorry for you guys who ruin your reputation for a simple car wash, I will never step into your dealership and encourage everyone to do the same, you guys have to understand the “Customer Satisfaction” is everything and lying to customers can damage your business.

On September 1st, I made an appt. to have my transmission diagnosed under warranty. As soon as I towed it in Carlos Valdez said my warranty will be voided because of the wheels and modifications it has. I said thats fine, I had a masters technician diagnose it at home and highly recommended I have a transmission flush because it was low on oil and it was almost due. Later that day he called me and said they did a diagnostic and I quote, found automatic transmission internal failure(s) and we recommend having the transmission repaired or replaced. It had one code on P0700 TCM which can mean many things including low on transmission oil. I asked how much to fix and he stated its best I have a new transmission put in, please note GM voided my warranty due to calibrations were off on a stock engine. $7000+ plus tax for a new transmission he recommended I declined because my vehicle drove but just for a short while. I had my technician check it out and all he did was check my oil level and recalibrated my transmission. Up to this day the vehicle is running perfectly fine with no codes, same transmission and just couldnt believe how cheated I would have been if I decided to pay. Thank god I have a friend with a masters in tech and made me realize how far they will go to steal money out of hard earned people especially in our current crisis with the covid 19. Never again am I returning here after being a customer for 7yrs. Im just upset I was lied to and hope no one goes thru this.

Service work was quick and fast but engagement with service advisor was sub par. There was no real greeting at first arrival. It was just “how can I help let me write you up. Ok thanks you can leave keys in the vehicle.” Very robotic like... felt cold. I get a text that vehicle is ready and to see cashier and I pay and get key. There was no further contact with service advisor from initial contact... experience felt as I was a burden. I had my other vehicle service earlier in the week at that car make’s dealership and experience was 100% better. I felt welcome there.

In the past when I had all the systems in my car serviced I would receive a detailed report of the condition of each system. This time I had the brakes checked out rear bakes replaced, new hoses and fluids but no indication about the condition of the front brakes. Also the ABS and brake warning lights are still on. Not real happy about this, nowi have to go back and see what is going on.

Chevy ordered a trailer hitch and bezel for install and when it arrived I dropped my car off for installation, they called me after having my car for hours to tell me the hitch did not have any parts in the box so they couldn’t do the install. Something they could have looked at prior to me bringing my car. Took two weeks to order a new hitch dropped my car off at 10am. Got a call at 4:10 saying they ordered the wrong bezel trim and would have to re order. Come pick up my car in 20 mins. They could have checked this prior instead of having my car for 6 hours. So now they have to order a new one and I’ll have to go in a third time for 1 trailer hitch.

I recently brought in my 2014 Chevy Volt for an oil change and they said it was time to replace the brake fluid and transmission fluid because it had been two years since the last change.I checked my manual, but it said brake fluid is exchanged every 10 years or 150,000 miles and that transmission fluid, under normal driving is every 90,000 or 45,000 under severe conditions. I only drive my car in full electric mode to work every day. Thats it. Hardly severe driving conditions. It only has 55,000 miles after 6 years.When I reviewed my past receipts, I noticed the dealership had just previously changed my brake fluid and transmission fluid during my last visit at 36,000 miles, only 20,000 miles earlier.I called and talked to the service representative but he argued with me adamantly that every 2 years is normal for ALL cars, including my Volt. I told him my Volt manufacturers maintenance schedule wasnt even close to the frequency they were recommending. I said I thought it was manipulative to be recommending that I spend upwards of $500 every two years to do completely unnecessary maintenance. Their recommendations go beyond cautious good maintenance. They are totally excessive. I might consider changing the brake fluid every 5 or 6 years, but every 2 years is ridiculous.I dont believe their rep knows the Volt well enough to be making service recommendations. This kind of up-sell results in distrust. Such excessive maintenance does not make me feel like theyre looking out for my car, it makes me feel like theyre just ripping me off. Ripping people off might work if the victim never figures it out, which is probably the case for most people, but for those who do figure it out, its very clear.

The process of buying a car has always been somewhat daunting for me and, I suspect, most of humanity. I never know if Im getting a good deal or being sold something they want to sell rather than what I actually need.I did a bit of research on what I wanted and called Community Chevrolet. My contact there, Oscar, helped me through the process and let me know of special deals that were only applicable in my situation. I was able to send them some of my info via email so that when I came into the dealership, the signing process was as streamlined as it can be. I was in and out of there with a new car in about an hour.As far as I can tell I got a pretty good price but, more importantly, they put me into a car that I love, the Volt 2018. Any doubts about the sales process washed away after driving this car for a few days. I cant speak for everyone at Community Chevrolet, but my experience with Oscar and Manny was as painless as can be expected when making such a large purchase. I will definitely come here again when my lease is up!

I had the worst experience trying to buy out my lease. Because of the virus situation I wanted to have as little contact an experience as possible and they said that no contact was impossible. So I went in (because what choice do I have) as I was told that it would take less than 5 minutes in the building and less than a half hour overall. Well, I sat in their offices for over 15 minutes while they tried to sell me more and more upgrades that Id already discussed and declined (of course the whole time, Im just thinking let me out of your stuffy office please, I dont feel safe -- nice sales tactic) Finally released and life signed away, they had me wait outside in the sun for almost another 2 hours because of some sort of inspection on my car that they refused to explain. The whole thing cost me time, patience and more money than they agreed to (and now Ive gotten another bill for 500 that nobody warned me would be coming) I I just feel like I was lied to constantly and very much hope to never have the displeasure of returning here.

Decided to give another shot and trade it in to upgrade a car but didn’t like the experience. Left messages for documents I needed nobody called me back nobody cared about after customer service. I drove an extra 45 minutes 30 some miles to get this deal theyre the only Chevy dealer that was dealing I got more for my trade in. I got a better packages and first responder discounts it was a no Brainer. Oscar handled the paperwork and showed me the truck. Oscar and the finance man were great.The only one drawback I have is every car that this Community Chevy sells is this protection package whether you want it or not I dont like to be told what I have to buy but the deal was so good I went along with it anyway.

I made an appointment for a tire rotation and the service dept was prompt about greeting me when I pulled in, letting me know it would be a few minutes. When the service advisor, Victor Marsh, Cameron my car to talk about what I was having done and things to consider later on. No pressure to do more, no hard sell for anything, just info. I mentioned I wanted to buy my lease and he was enthusiastic and helpful. Again, enthusiastic not because he wanted to push anything, just that he appreciated how other customers loved their EV Bolts. On top of all that, a great coffee machine and my car was done in a few hours. 😄👍

Unusually bad. I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off the night before. The next no call back. I called and left a message. Next day same thing. Finally spoke to someone the third day and was quoted an outrageous sum to fix my issue. My issue was under warranty so they would call back when it was ready. Next day no call back only a text to my wifes phone saying it was ready for pickup. I went in. Paid for my oil change and left. However, while there, I looked at a few new vehicles and was disheartened to see all of the add ons just to increase the profit on the sale (expensive door edge moldings, glass etchings and something else). That would discourage me from buying my next Chevrolet from your dealership. CHECK YOUR TIREES BEFORE BUYING! Purchased a lightly used vehicle 2.5 Years old, under 20K miles during COVID.  They delivered to my house, and upon delivery, we noticed a nail in the tire.  The salesman noted this and I told them I would take it in for repair or let them know if it was not repairable.  After taking to a tire shop, I found out that the tire was not able to be repaired due to the location of the nail, not only that, all tires were at an unsafe tread level and needed replacing.  The tires on the vehicle come with a 60K tread warranty, and they only had 20K miles on them.  The treadwear does not match up with the odometer at all.  I contacted the dealership to express my concern (likely swapped off of a more driven vehicle prior to reselling to me). Unwilling to compensate, I have had to escalate this shady matter to GM corporate.

The experience and service was better than what I had received at the prior Van Nuys location. I’ve had a low tire for the past 8 months and when I got my car serviced at the Van Nuys location, they told me nothing was wrong with the tire and to take the car to a tire shop if it kept loosing air. A couple months later when I scheduled my next service I decided to go to Community Chevrolet in Burbank and I told them of the tire issue. The representative immediately took a look at the tire and informed me it had a nail in it and would let me know if it was reparable. Luckily it was. The experience and service was excellent. Terrible experience in their service department, Carlos the advisor never updated me, I only received news when I called them. I had an appointment for 8AM Thursday morning to have an issue with my transmission checked and a mirror looked at for a shake at higher speeds. They kept my car for 5 days to perform 4 simple recalls (Ive been in the automotive industry for the last 15 years and am familiar with the scope of the recalls) and replace a window motor. I never even received a call to review what had been done or not done with my truck, only to come pick it up, I show up to pick it up only to find out my main concern was never addressed nor was my mirror because I supposedly hit something. Even when I did arrive to pick up my truck no one reviewed anything with me. Pictures shows the impact which led to my mirror shaking on the highway. Save your time and find a dealer who doesnt act like they are doing you favors.

I reached out via chat to have a sales person contact me to help my 20 year old daughter purchase a vehicle. She’s in the USAF and has just been stationed in CA. They were super quick to contact me to help. Throughout the day, I chatted via text with a salesman. He mentioned that she would need a co-signer. I agreed. They never called me during the signing on contracts or gave me any final information. When I received the package today through FedEx (I’m 2400 miles away), I’m listed as the buyer and she as the co-signer. They’ve also charged her over $3800 in extra warranties for paint, key fobs, etc that are 100% useless. I’ve tried to reach out via chat, left messages for finance manager, text the person who did the paperwork with her, text and tried to call the salesman. I’ve heard nothing back. As of now, there is a contract with no buyer listed. Extremely disappointed in the service considering I thought they’d take care of a young airman rather than take full advantage of her.

I was charged an astronomical amount for services that werent scheduled for my vehicle. I drive an EV, a 2017 Bolt, and I was charged more than $400 in labor for fluid services that werent due for my vehicle until 150k miles (my vehicle currently has 28k miles). Everyone at the dealership was very nice and the scheduling was efficient but charging me $600 for services that werent needed for my car when it was being brought in for a recall is highly unethical. I will never service my car or purchase another car from Community Chevrolet.
