This company has come to my rescue so many times over the last 5 years. I used them for all my appliance and HVAC needs for my home and my rental properties. They just fixed my AC in the middle of a heat wave so quickly. They came within hours, went to the supply store for the parts and completed the repair within hours of me contacting them. I have been recommending this company to all friends and family and everyone is extremely happy. They are amazing! You wont be disappointed.

Customer service was very professional but repairman was grumpy, rude, and I actually had to help him do his job because he didnt have the tools or man power. This was just to get an estimate, however, I never got one and was just ridiculed.Multiple times in the middle of talking, if he heard something he didnt like he would walk out of my store for a bit and come back in a few minutes. While I was asking for an estimate/guestimate, he just stared at me and then said are you going to pay me(service call charge)? I paid him and he promised to call me with an estimate and will start working on my cooler but that was about 2 months ago.$95 for someone to make me work for him. Very impressed with the work of my technician MARS who literally showed up for an install 6hrs after my initial request. Was extremely professional and his attention to detail was next level. Literally cleaned my window unit in 20-25 min and its almost back to factory standard. The price was reasonable and was completed electronically. Will definitely save MARS as a favorite in my phone & get him to service my unit annually.

The technician was very unfriendly. He said I needed a part wHich he will order after he goes to the office. No one called me til Wednesday. Said can’t get the part oven to old. New oven was over $200:00dollars higher than anybody elves and a wait time of 3 my nths

I have had an installation of air conditioning and they were extremely prepared, organized, and professional, my work was done within 2 days when it usually takes 4 days. They were on time and respectful the whole time. I decided to use them again to fix my washer and dryer and they fixed it within 30 minutes. (this happened a while ago but I just havent taken the time to post something) -- Last summer my AC broke on one of the hottest days of the year. I called multiple companies, all of which said it would be weeks before anyone could repair it. Then I called West Coast Chief Repair. I have called all around town and couldnt find a repair company that specializes in radiant heaters I know its an old and outdated system but didnt realize it would be such a hassle to find a company that works on this type of system. If you choose West coast you have chosen the best.Kayla helped me out and set me up for my appointment for my washer & dryer she was very knowledgeable & helped me try and trouble shoot my washer so I could get the lid open. The tech art came out and determined is was the lid switch, he didn’t have the part but was able to pick up & came back out the next day & got my washer unlocked and working. Worst customer service ever! Cancelled my scheduled appointment twice! When finally at my home, spent 1 min and did not know what to do and left... . Called the company and the response is absolute nonsense...., have contracted privately and they are saying that it needs approval from my insurance company 😜😜😜. Do not recommend!

One of the BEST companies I have ever dealt with! I don’t know why I haven’t heard of them before. Although we had a few bumps with the first guy to come fix our heater not showing up, I called and spoke to Maria and she had to explain that they were super busy during this time, which I understand, but also managed to see if she could get someone else out that same day. The customer service here is top-notch, great follow-up, and amazing work. The general manager, Sean, spoke to my wife, as I was away, and made sure everything had been done correctly. They really do care!

My tenant called me the day after Christmas stating her heater was not working and it was 40 degrees in LA. This company came out within 3 hours, diagnosed the problem and ordered all the parts that were needed for next day. The people that work here are very knowledgeable, starting from the customer service and ending with the actual repairmen. They have been in business for years and have a set process for everything they do. You don’t have to call them reminding about your issue and asking when is something gonna get fixed. Our air conditioner had a leak, this was the fastest service to get back to us, once Vidin showed up at the house he was very professional wearing mask, gloves and shoes covers.He promptly solved the issue within a matter of minutes, great service, highly recommended and very professional explaining and giving pointers of what to do and where to install another ac unit.

The repair person came when agreed and was easy to work with. I only needed a minor adjustment (truly a loose screw!) and he found it and fixed it in sort order. Of the five companies I checked, these guys were less money and the check out trip payment would be applied to the repair if it came to that. (It didnt.) I might rate them higher but the job turned out to be minor (a good thing), so I dont know about prices and quality for an actual repair.

We were having problems with our fridge and found West Coast Chief Repair on Home Advisor. Their service call was only $45, that was much cheaper than what we’ve paid from other repair companies. It took a while to get the parts that were needed to fix our fridge, but WCCR worked us into the schedule when they received the parts because we were going on vacation the next day. All the people we worked with were friendly and helpful. We will definitely use them again when needed.

It was not a first time when I used West Coast Chief repair to fix appliances in my house. This time I called because my refrigerator was broken. I scheduled an appointment and technician arrived. He came within the four-hour window time frame. Super knowledgeable, was great at explaining and showing exactly what needed to happen. Great service. The refrigerate was fixed in the same day for reasonable price.I would recommend them to family and friends who are in need of appliance services.

WOULD NOT EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!!! Our goal: have a start up system done on a new heat/ac unit we installed. Called this company who responded fairly quickly. A man with a very heavy Russian accent and difficult to understand showed up to give us an estimate 2 days later. We were quoted high at $640.00 but were desperate to get our system running. The home we live in has never had central heat or air and the new unit is part of our current renovation.We gave him the go ahead to start the job. He spent a short time doing some general inspection and when it came time to pressure test the lines, he informed us that he didnt want to finish the job. He was incredibly rude... he walked off the job, left us hanging, and we were charged $125.00 which was the minimum quote. I feel so ripped off! Maybe he felt he under quoted us. I dont really know. One thing for sure is he was COMPLETELY unprofessional! Now Im left with the task of finding yet another licensed ac tech. to finish the job. Complete bullsh*t!!!

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with West Coast Chief Repair!!! I was having problems with my freezer- not cooling and making a loud clicking noise. I got an appt on a Sat. The tech showed up Sat, took a look and said he needed to come back on TUES with parts. So, I took a 1/2 day off work. He was supposed to be at my place between 9 and 10. The tech called me at 10 saying he didnt get the supplies and hed have to come back another day. So, I had to take another 1/2 day off work and we scheduled for Thurs. He showed up, took about 30 min fixing my freezer. He told me it would take 24 hours for it to start cooling again. I waited a full 24 hrs and my freezer was still not cooling and the clicking was still there. I made another appointment for SAT between 10 and 2. My appointment was confirmed. I waited until about 1:30, then called to make sure the tech was on his way. They then told me they made a mistake, there was no tech coming and they couldnt get another one out today. Ive had to throw away everything in my freezer and now Im trying new companies. I would not suggest this company.

Ive been using West Coast for years now. Always good and reliable. Just like this time. The AC failed Sat late morning. Called them and spoke to Natasha. She was friendly and very accommodating. Apologized that she cant get anyone out the same day but scheduled me for Monday Morning. A tech came in right on time, determined that it was a blown fuse. Didnt try to upsell, didnt try to make stories. Changed the fuse, charged a very reasonable amount for the call and I have a working AC.

Great service. My (relatively) new fridge went out and I had no idea what was wrong with it. They could have easily taken me for a ride. Instead, the repairman was in and out in 10 minutes. Turned out the circuitboard needed rebooting, so he showed me how to reset it myself should it happen again. It was $80 for the reboot, but they could have easily charged me a fortune and I wouldnt have known the difference.The 2-6pm time slot was a bit brutal, but they actually called 40 minutes prior and the repair man was there by 1:30pm (1/2 hour before the allotted time). Their service fee was $25 cheaper than any other company I called. Ill use them again.

I called this company to fix my refrigerator couple weeks ago. I got scheduled the same day and the guy came in on time.The technician told me what are the stuff that he can repair and can not repair. Still advised me that it is still cheaper to have the refrigerator fix than buying a new one. My fridge was not repair on the same day because they need to order some parts. Two days after, their office called me and said that the part is available and can schedule it the same day-unfortunately, I am not available that day-and scheduled for later time. The technician came on time and actually called me 30min before coming in and fix my refrigerator. Now my icemaker is working perfect like when i got it new.Having an honest and prompt service from West Coast is a very good service to me specially for someone like me that do not have idea on appliances.I highly recommend this company for their honesty and great service.Thank you guys.

I have had an AMAZING experience with West Coast Chief Repair!!! I had some problems with my freezer. Made an appointment for Friday. The tech showed up, took a look and said he needed to come back on with parts since the freezer was old those parts were special order for my freezer. The tech showed up, took about 30 min fixing my freezer, changed the parts and was honest that it will need time to restart. About two hours later the freezer was back to normal. I would suggest this company as the employees were honest and attempted everything they could the fix my freezer at the least of the cost.

This is my second time to use this company. They always scheduled me the same day. I called them 2 weeks ago coz my AC stopped working. They come 3 hours after I called and fixed my AC. This quick response and their readiness to help gives them 5 start.

Somewhat more expensive than I expected since the pump just needed to be cleaned out, not replaced. The serviceman was friendly, professional, knew what he was doing and kept in touch, although it took 2 days for the replacement pump to come, which was not needed as it turned out. Horrendous service! This company is horrible! Fidelity Home Warrenty dispatched this company as a rush to come fix my 2 AC units. They came out 3 days later and gave me a window of 9-2. The guy finally showed up at 5:15pm! He went out to take a look at it and I went with him (he didnt even bring any tools with him.) He seemed irritated that I was there and that I wanted to know what he thought was wrong with the ac. He didnt bring any tools with him the first time so he went back to get them from his van. I went inside to watch from my security cameras. For a long time he just walked back and forth, looked at my roses and did anything but fix the first unit. He opened up a small panel on top and did something for about 30 seconds. He continued to go back and forth and waste time in my backyard. He never touched the second unit. I went outside and asked what was wrong with it and he said he would write it in the report. I asked if he could tell me and he refused. I asked what the freon level was and he said normal. He would not tell me what the range of normal was or any actual information on my first unit. I never even saw him check the freon from the first unit and I dont know that he did. Then I asked how the second unit was. First he said he checked it and it was normal.I let him know I had been watching the whole time from the cameras and that he never went over to that one. He got really mad and went off about me not trusting him (ummm he actually LIED to me so it was good that I was paying attention)Then said he wasnt going to touch it because it was not on the work order. I called fidelity and confirmed that it was but he refused to talk to them. Finally he said he would check the freon level of that one because he was being nice (not so much!) Actually, it was in the order and it was part of the job he was sent out to do! He wouldnt look at anything else on the second unit and refused to tell me what the freon was on the second unit. I tried to ask him about what was wrong with the first unit and he refused to explain what was wrong and was very rude and hostile. Everything about this was so not okay. Rude, incompetent and a liar!

We rent so I hope my landlord didnt pay too much. Our apartment had a really old, nearly antique stove so when it went bad they were quick to suggest a total replacement. Didnt even open or tinker with the old one.They were originally supposed to deliver the new stove and remove the old stove on a Thursday. My wife took off work to meet with them, the without attempting to move or even take any measurements he decided he wasnt going to be able to remove the old stove or bring in the new stove. Unfortunately he didnt speak much English so the only thing my wife could pick up while he was on the phone with the main office was too big, too big. He ended up leaving. Needless to say we were both really upset that he left without explaining or taking measurements.After he left my wife called and spoke with the office. She got the model number of the new stove, looked up the dimensions, and confirmed to the office that the stove would in fact fit and demanded they come back and reinstall. After much frustration they decided to re-deliver the next morning (we both took off work again, we had no working stove at this point) but told us they would not remove the old stove....Sure enough the new stove fit, I think they just didnt want to bring it up the stairs. And after removing a few screws on the old stove both my wife and I carried the old stove out of the apartment. Should be ashamed at their selves that we had to do it, it would have been even easier if we had their hand truck.

I dont know what kind of workers they have there today they came today to check on my refrigerator, dryer and oven his name is Gerry he didn even check it as soon as he notice that the refrigerator is a Samsung he told me we dont work with this brand, he took a picture from the tag with all the information on the oven and the refrigerator he asked me whats wrong with the dryer I told him it takes a lot of time to dry the clothes I put like 5 pz. and it take like 3 hrs. to dry and it was all but he reported to the warranty company that everything was fine with the dryer he did not even go to check the dryer I asked if he was going to check it he said no somebody else is going to come and check everything he is a liar they just want to take the money out of the warranty. I call them I ask to talk to the manager they told me that he is busy with another call i told them that I can hold for him but they dont want me to be in hold but they didnt call me back I called them again they put me on hold. Very bad customer service.

I was looking for a new refrigerator and I found this company. Not only did I not have to buy a new refrigerator, and spend lots of money, for a small cost my old one was repaired. I got a great advice on maintenance benefits and great friends to call in future to fix all my appliances.

Again,three years later,I have used the West Coast Chief services. And again,everything was done in a timely manner and of high quality. Also,very reasonable prices. I highly recommend the company!

My freezer died unexpectedly. I started calling appliances companies, and they were the first who promised to send a technician within 2 hours. The guy showed up even sooner, and in an hour I got my freezer working. The price was very reasonable.Thanks for saving my food!

Great service, good prices on repairs

Scheduled through Home Warranty company for one of two A/C units. Repairman broke the working one and blew out circuit breaker. Booked to come back between 9am-1pm (generous window to sit waiting). At 12:47 was told he was on his way. Lied. At 2pm they said it would be by 3:30pm and so it went until he showed up at 7pm! Fixed the one that was not broken to start and said he had to come back with parts for the other. Called the next day to say part was not available until Monday...We went to Home Depot that Saturday, got the part and a real repairman to fix it. Ridiculous customer service and unskilled repairman.

Mr. Reed is a very good and honest man. He will not try to take advantage of our luck of knowledge when it comes to this problem, in fact, he treated this appliance as his own. Thank you very Mr. Bert Reed!
