I shop here once a week, and the staff keep impressing me with their dedication to my experience. Just yesterday I had a cart full of items, so I went to the longer checkout lines. While I was waiting, the self checkout lines were cruising (they had staff assisting) and the associate Travis, called over to me to come to the self checkout. This was so nice since I would have waiting longer by my incorrect line choice. Travis was fast and extremely polite as he got my one my way. Love this place!

My family comes here at least once a week. Its busy but very efficient. The deals are very good

We love Costco, and we know no matter how bad the service is, the company probably doesn’t care. A lot of the employees really don’t seem to care if we keep shopping there so that they get to keep paying their bills.I was there today and only had a picture of my membership card which I was told was not going to get me in to shop. When I mentioned that I called ahead and was told I could pick up my prescription with it, she seemed disappointed that she hadn’t stopped me.Isn’t the goal to get folks in the door to shop? If not, Sam’s is down the street.

Like any other Costco? Youve been to one, youve been to all. Same consistent experience. Though I would recommend you avoid going on a Sunday afternoon or be prepared to park far away.

Costco Gas Pump is horrible customer service! Attendants are standing, not guiding the traffic flow. There is no discipline maintaining.

I visited this Costco yesterday, Friday Sept 10th with the intent to purchase the chicken pot pie and stuffed peppers made by the deli. Much to my chagrin, I couldnt find either item as they were sold out. I spoke with the deli staff and instead of just telling me they were out, they immediately offered to make the items for me if I was willing to continue my shopping. They estimated it would take between 30-45 mins. They professionally made both items within a very short time frame and 37 minutes later I was checked out and on my way home despite the large lines. This deli staff should not only be recognized for their incredible customer service, but rewarded as well. Unfortunately I wasnt able to get all their names but I did speak with Ray (a manager there) and expressed my admiration and gratitude. Thank you all VERY much. My sons LOVE the pot pie and my wife has a gluten allergy so the stuffed peppers are a treat for her.

Just want to make everyone aware. If you decide to purchase alliances make sure that Costco does not do the installations. We had a washer and dryer delivered and installed last Friday evening. After the crew left next day our laundry room got flooded. The water leaked through the upper floor into our garage. After spending 5 days and being on hold for hrs I still have not heard from anybody. After being on hold for 55 min today I was told that someone will reach out to me this week….I had a company come out to test moisture and they found moisture in the floor and walls. DO NOT have them install your equipment.

The Mall of Ga locations parking lot is somewhat difficult to navigate given its popularity. The parking and navigation issues only knock it down one star. Aside from that, Costco is a warehouse store done very well.

This Costco does not care about the safety of its patrons. They no longer require masks for members. Half of the people in this store were wandering around with no masks, many with children too young to be vaccinated.Is it too much to ask that people wear a thin piece of fabric over their mouths to prevent them from breathing COVID all over your food and clothes?I understand that this store wants to cater to selfish, ignorant people who arent aware of the dangers Delta poses, but that means they dont care about the safety of their other customers.

Busy location but the experience is always a good one. Checkout was quick and in under 10 minutes. Weekday, mid day shopping is a sweet spot.

I just join the club to me everyone was nice I was craving for Mangoes and I got them really cheap I got everything I needed and wanted so Im very happy

I love Costco! Ever since my parents became members. We went all the time and I always wanted to go with them. The employees are great. Everything is always picked up and neat and the cashiers are fast. The pizza is yummy (really everything) and the prices are great. I always want to buy everything.

My husband and I own a Drivers Ed company. (Alpha Omega Driving Academy) From the moment we started our business, we have solely depended on Costco Tire Center Mall of Georgia. We are in there so much (lol) they know us by first names.The guys and the new mom at Costco Tire Center always check and dbl check to make sure everything was handled correctly. They are heads and shoulders above anyone in the business.

While its always crowded, the staff here is amazing! Its a very well run machine with all its working parts in place. Even several people in the aisles consolidating product and removing empty boxes to keep a neat appearance. And even if the checkout line looks long, they get you through quickly and accurately. Plan your time accordingly though. This is typically not a quick in and quick out place.

My wife got corrected at Mall of Georgia Costco for not having her mask completely over her nose as she stood behind a 7-foot barrier at checkout. I had just come from the tire center where I stood at an unattended desk, ready to spend my money on tires. Get this. I walk over to the window to the garage and I wave someone down so someone can come to the register to take my order. He’s not wearing a mask, he looks at me, and ignores me. I don’t require a lot, but really? How about take the lady who is grinching at how people wear their mask and put her in the tire center to attend to customers. Oh, also have your employees comply with what you require of your customers. On a previous visit, I was in line and over 6 feet from anyone and the cashier’s assistant rudely told us to stand on the red dot while in line...so I moved 3 feet to my left to stand right on the dot. Seriously, you have all lost your minds. As soon as I can get around to it, I’m canceling my membership. Hello Sam’s Club.

Have been coming here for years and always enjoyed the great service. Know a couple people from the staff that have been working here for years. Always very helpful.

They are an extremely efficient crew. We always go to the area with two rows of 3 checkouts facing each other. You can have 10 people in front of you, but youll be out of there in less than 10 min. Cashiers are always cheerful and fast. Kudos to these hard working people, especially during the pandemic.

I work here now and I can tell you that its a great place to work and some real goodies to shop for. From delicious yum yums to really neat electronics to needs and all sorts of life continuing stuff. Its a one stop shop till you drop screaming hallelujah I got durn good deals! Whatever the case may be you really should become a member which is s easy as eating the apple pie we have for Thanksgiving. Just walk in, go through the front door and on your right member services sweet southern people will get you a membership and you can go right away to shopping so simple your momma might get jealous that your spending so much time away from home, ( by the way shes in there shopping for great deals to your next birthday on some delish cakes she didnt spend a fortune on) lol! And she has many gifts to save on that are top of the line and saving momma money is making both of you happy. 😊

A fairly standard Costco. It has all the usual sections. Its busy on weekends, though and parking can get a little interesting. Service is good, as always. Theres usually a bit of a wait for gas.

Gotta love Costco!! If you have a big family or like to just stock up on bulk items they have a lot of merchandise at great prices!! They have electronics, furniture, automotive (tires, floor mats, wiper blades etc.) and just about everything else you could think of. They have tons of organic foods & drinks as well as an amazing deli, meat/seafood market (w/ fresh fish fillets and whole fish (farmed & wild), crab, shrimp etc (from all over the world) dairy & eggs, and a canned, jarred, frozen & big box section that will be sure to please you!! They have books, clothing, toys, rugs, towels, sheets/blankets(all sorts and sizes), cosmetics, lots of stuff for Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, 4th of July etc. You can just about name it and they have it,,,hands down!

I could actually live here. They have everything. Nice quality yet cheap clothes, especially for winter jackets. Nice produce section, bulk spices. The DIAPERS are made by the same people who manufacture Huggies diapers and are the exact same with different pictures printed. The baby wipes are big and strong, much like the Huggies wipes, but a little bigger and excellent quality.

Basically you pay 120 per year for a treasure hunt where costco gets the treasure on every visit.The unmarked aisles, continuous shuffling ot products, large pricetags at the entrance and the imp stuff at the back of the store.You cannot escape overspending

This Costco however has rudest cashiers we have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.Two negative experiences in a row, back to back at this location.In 20+ years we’ve never had a bad customer service with Costco except at this Buford location.Our family will definitely be following up with a formal complaint.

Love the Costco on Buford Dr. Lawrenceville. It is so easy to get in and out of the parking and they have very ample parking. The store is large and can accommodate large crowds. You can get in and out with a pleasant experience in little time.

Do not install your tire here. Glue still on the wheels and tire pressure light on after installing whenever driving above 70mph ok hwy. mess up my tire sensor during installation. 🤦‍♂️

I love shopping here and so does everyone else. Its Always busy. They have the best gas prices!!! They care about their members and enforce mask wearing. For that I am grateful.

Before signing up for Costco make sure you have a Visa credit card because they only take Visa, debit cards, and cash. The gas stations does not take cash. Besides that issue the selection is great with good deals on some items while I found others to be a little high. So far the customer service has been very good so maybe we will settle in as new shoppers once we rotate our visa cards back into our wallets.

We have been going to this Costco since it opened. Not much else to say other than the club is great with hard working employees that get the job done.I can say that we have found that the meat, especially the ribeye steaks, are much better at Costco than Sams. This also includes the boneless pork ribs which are great in an InstaPot btw.

Like Costco. Prices pretty good. Not enough checkout service lanes open. Do not like doesnt take Mastercard.

Love LOVE costco. This warehouse has everything and all the prepared foods are fabulous. The parking lot is ample with easy access to the gas pumps. My favorite departments are bakery, electronics, wine, prepared foods, and the middle section with new odds and ends. Just sad that Costco discontinued the tasting stations because that was one of the highlights of visiting Costco. If you are returning stuff, the line can get a little long so be prepared to wait.

My husband had ophthalmological exam but the prescription was wrong.We have to start all over again to make an new appointment,with drs, its been more than 2weeks.We havent got the new eye glass yet.They used to be very accurate and quick services and reasonable prices we liked about but not anymore. Very disappointed at this moment.

Its a really nice store with a lot of great brands. Their food selection was also really nice. I went on a Saturday so it was very crowded, but their checkout process was also efficient, so it wasnt that bad.

I have recently upgraded this stores review one additional star due to the addition of the U-Scan checkouts, although today when I got to them, there were no lights on any of the units, nor anyone standing by any of them. Fortunately, there was (1) full-service checkout open. So while checking out after the store had been open 15 minutes, I began to see U-Scan operators taking their places.My main complaint for this update regarded the opening time for the store. Today is Tuesday, Sept 8th, and if you are a senior, Costco opens at 9am on weekdays. When I pulled into the lot at around 8:50, there were about 8 seniors standing outside the locked doors waiting for them to open. This is a normal sight no matter what day or what time they open. People always there early in hopes they open the doors a little early, which they do often. While waiting in my car and reviewing my extremely accurate watch regarding the time, I noticed it being 8:59, and still the doors were shut. I got out of the car and walked up to the carts. Still not open. I grabbed a cart and sat down on a post block. Finally, at 9:03 the first people were allowed to enter. When I went in, I stopped to ask the door greeter why 3 minutes late? She said, oh, on some days we have floor palates to put away.So, from my visit today, I take it the store manager doesnt require his store to be ready for business at the opening time, nor does he require his checkout operators to be at their stations ready for customers either.Ive worked many a year in retailing and I have never worked for an organization that did not believe in being ready for their customers during store hours.I also would love to have a business where there was a line of customers outside each day before opening. I guarantee you, I would NEVER require them to wait even a moment past my posted opening hour.Like everyone else, I pay at least $60 per year for the privilege to shop here - is it too much to ask that you keep enough registers open so we arent faced with long lines? As you can see by the photos, always plenty of unmanned registers available, just no one asked to operate them. Short lines cut into their profit, which at the end of their last reported 3-month report, was a net profit of over 700 million dollars. At that pace, they should end the year over 2.8 Billion dollars. Keeping you and I waiting in lines reduces their manpower costs and places it on the back of their customer. So I say, isnt it enough we pay $60 a year?

Believe it or not my first time in Costco I like it better than Sams because the employees and cashiers who take my money are alot more polite and friendlier so be back. Even with long check out lines on a Thursday night it moved quickly. Thank you

The store itself is wonderfully stocked. BUT....The crowds of customers were a little intense. Very rude customers at that. One man cut in front of us in line, not to mention that the lines were almost to the back off the store on a Wednesday at noon...Then while at the checkout, the woman behind me was literally within half an arms reach and would not step back when asked. It just made me a bit uncomfortable and Im not wanting to go back anytime soon.

Great products and prices. No worries about returns. And food court snacks/food to go.

Eye appt. The optical dept has always been very helpful, today was no exception. Received a new prescription, chose new frames. They will be ready in 10 days. Very proactive about covid.

Question : Does Costco ask everyone that goes to check out for identification?? Horrible. Borrowed a family member card was excited to finally see after being a Sams member for years. Got to the self check out and was embarrassed 😳. You cant use someone elses card. Was going to take a membership out. BUT never AGAIN. Costco rep and customer service extremely rude. Sams club is the best people came to buy gas from Sams no card and the rep scan and allowed them to get gas.

I had no problem finding this place using google map. I was afraid of going to Costco due to the membership cost. After the first visit, I upgrade from my usual membership to a premium one (get more points per dollar). The prices are significantly lower than other stores. The quality of products is good. I like more organic products but still can find many things compare to sams club. The parking lot is insufficient, but you can find some spots. Overall, suggesting it if can buy stuff in bulk.

Only 5 registers open at the busiest time of the day 5 pm. Mgrs get off your A.. and go to work. I know you can run a register earn that big check and BONUS.

This review specifically refers to Costco optical doctor at the Mall of Georgia Buford Costco.This was probably the worst customer service experience, especially with a doctors office, I have had in a long time.The doctor Recommended medical contact lenses. Had to clear it through my insurance, which I was eligible.And that’s where the office staff completely blew me off after many phone calls and promises to call me back for over 45 days.I finally received a letter from my insurance company stating that they had denied the claim due to non-communication with the doctor office.They are the worst !!

Costco is always great, but the Buford store was swamped on Sunday, need more checkout. They were trying hard, just need more.
