Was driving through Buford and saw this pretty little consignment shop and decided to stop in. Got a very friendly greeting from a very friendly person. They have a great selection of used clothing priced right. Lots of kids and ladys stuff. Also kids toys. Highly recommend this consignment shop. Nothing like shopping in small southern towns.

This is an awesome store! The staff are friendly and helpful. If you need assistance they are spectacular and incredibly helpful but if you dont, they let you shop in peace without hovering which is wonderful. They are not pushy either which is huge in my book. They have designer items but they also have a great selection of non-designer items as well. There is even a room devoted to kids with everything from toys to clothes to strollers/playpens/etc. Every time you go in there is something new so it is never the same old thing.

This is always my first stop on a hunt for a homecoming or prom dress. You immediately feel right at home and its a wonderful shopping experience. Not to mention that the dresses I get are at such good deals, and you can trade them in (as well as your other dresses you have) when youre done!

My daughters and I love to treasure hunt monthly. About 6 weeks ago we walked into Serendipity and all walked out with like New or brand new clothes for a very reasonable price. Our ages are 9, 22, and 39. There are not many consignment stores that provide that kind of range. We had such great experience overall. We added it to our monthly shopping route.

I walked into Serendipity expecting to find one or two items for my daughter for school. Wrong! I walked out with two bags full of goodies. There were lots of name brand items and everything was so easy to find. I loved the purses and will return to shop for myself. The service was totally awesome with friendly but not pushy service. Highly recommend!

First time in after driving by for years. I am happy I stopped in and could kick myself for waiting. Got a great deal on a shirt and cute boots my daughter picked out. They have clothes, shoes, purses, accessories, jewlery, etc...

This store is a rare find! The selection is amazing. The store is clean & orderly and the staff id friendly! I am already planning my next shopping spree!

Here are the facts and my experience with Serendipity Consignment, you decide… I consigned 5 blazer’s/coats – 3 leather/suede and two of the others were material early in January indicating when dropping off that if they do not sell I would be picking them up. I was told they try to sell them for as much as they can. When the term was getting close based on their contract I called a couple days prior to pick up what may not have sold and I was told. “Oh we extend our consignment for an additional 30 days for our customers, not like other consignment stores”. Again I said that would be fine however I would be picking up my coats if they do not sell. All three leather and suede pieces were brand new and the other two, one was new and the other was slightly used. I originally paid between $80.00 and $130.00 for ea. piece as a reference point. My calendar showed that the time was coming up and when calling, the owner Nikki, indicated that one sold and the others were donated!What would you think, how would you feel? I followed their contract. I went down to deal with this. I was paid for the one that sold which was $9.00 and Nikki said that all leather and suede are worth under $25.00 automatically. I guess this would mean a dollar amount could be placed on my leather/suede at $1.00 or $2.00. I needed to be told this prior if that were the case. Her compensation for her donating my four items and not honoring her contract was paid @ 40% of the selling price was $24.38. I found it odd after being told they were donated one was actually found and I did get it one back. She did not provide any receipt to say my things were donated so honestly I wondered about this. Business especially, do write off donations. Wouldnt you say? We as consumers do when we donate.For real? Very poor business practices. I listened to her excuses on how she competes with Good Will (I would have done better on writing off my coats to Good Will and taking the tax deduction!), how she cannot store items in inventory etc. Let’s not forget how consignment shops get their inventory. No apologies and frankly very little regard. All I can say is very unethical, period.
