We bought a home and decided to replace the carpet in the bedrooms with hardwood flooring to match existing on-site finished hard wood floors in our home. WOW! Incredible job on the carpeting at my new house. I was purchasing a older home and Travis met me at the house before closing to measure and discuss pricing options. I lived out of state at the time and Travis was kind enough to overnight samples to me so I could make the best choice. Travis worked with me to schedule the carpet install the day we closed so that the install could happen before my movers came. The carpeting is beautiful. The installation process could not have gone smoother. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

We were in the middle of a home renovation and our house flooded, so we’ve worked with four different tile companies during the course of the last six months. A&R Flooring worked on tiling two bathrooms and my fireplace. These guys were so much better than the others. I recently purchased 5 wide natural hickory engineered wood flooring with A&R Flooring, and im glad I did. The flooring looks incredible, better than the pictures show. The installation crew was top notch, they did the demo of old wood flooring, install of new and associated shoe mold trim in one day, 5 rooms total. My profession involves interior renovation at commercial buildings & offices, so Ive worked with a lot of different flooring subs, and seen a lot of wood flooring installed, the crew A&R used at my house was as good an install crew as ive had the pleasure to watch work. We called many flooring companies to come out and give us a quote and many of them didnt show or return our calls. We found A&R and went to their show room in Buford. Lidia was so helpful and helped us with all our questions. Within a few weeks we had new floors in 2 days. We will use them again for our upstairs floors next year.

A & R flooring replaced our first floor from carpet and hardwood to luxury vinyl. Our hardwood floors we think were the original floors from when the house was built in 2003 and were glued down making it harder to replace. We also had everything done in terms of moving furniture, replacing and painting trim, plumbing and adding a transition piece around our fireplace. Our house looks like a whole new house! They did an excellent job and finished it really quick (about 100 square feet I think). They made the process really easy and were by far the best in terms of response and price of the 4 quotes that we had gotten. I would highly recommend them!

I had an upstairs bathtub leak, resulting in extensive damage to hardwood flooring. Through my home owners insurance policy I was referred to A&R flooring. I could not be more pleased. They were prompt in evaluating my home and providing an assessment along with various repair options. After selecting our preferred option they initiated work quickly. I have an irregular work schedule which they accommodated. This prolonged the work some but allowed it to be done in a time convenient for my family. I was able to reach them after hours by text and they were able to quickly answer any questions or concerns I had. I must say, our floors look excellent! We would certainly use them and again.

We had some water damage done to our floors and I had contacted several flooring contractors. One of the contractors we contacted was A & R Flooring specialist. Mr. Shaw came and measured the areas that had the damage & gave us a quote. He found areas which the other flooring contractors did not account for & gave us quote on the damaged area. After receiving the quote, we decided to replace three carpeted rooms with hardwood from A & R. We have heard how dusty these installments were & I had a little concern. Mr. Shaw assured us that would not be a problem. We had to get our furniture removed from our house & had to wait for the movers to give us a date.Once we had the date, we contacted Mr.Shaw & he gave us the date of install, the amount of time we would need to be out of the house, & when his crew would complete the job. Our cabinet contractor & A & R worked together to get the job done. Our cabinet contractor was about a week later than he first gave us, but A & R completed all the floor work to the minute Mr. Shaw said it would be completed.I recommend A & R Flooring to anyone, because:1. The work was almost completely dust free2. They installed on time, sanded on time, stained the floor to the perfectly for what my wife wanted, & completed the entire job to the minute they said they would be completed.3. Excellent workmanship4. Extremely reasonable price for what had to be done to our house.Finally, when it comes to flooring contractors, I would not say A & R Flooring Specialist are in a Class by themselves, however, .... it would not take you long to find their name on that Class roll.Ron Green

Representatives were awesome. As a first time home owner I was a little clueless on how things would work with my insurance but A&R was very helpful and easy to get in touch with. They were able to complete my entire installation in one day / night and they went above and beyond to fix a few unseen issues in the flooring. Not to mention, the floors look great! I had a horrible experience happen to me in a house I lived in for little over two months. Long story short, we had to replace the whole downstairs flooring. I had no idea how this was done, never had this happen before, or anything of the sort.I was referred to an Emergency Water place, and they helped me cut into my walls, and then further clean up the water. Which was great, but literally left me with no one to call to finish getting my house back into place.Until I was referred to Adam by my insurance, and didnt know what the hell to do. A & R Flooring not only installed a beautiful tile floor and shower in our Master Bathroom but help tremendously though a difficult renovation. The inspiration to remodel was a hidden, slow water leak that destroyed half the bath room. As part of Farmers Insurance flooring replacement program, A&Rs Owner, Travis Shaw, came to our home on several occasions to measure the damaged area, worked with us to find the perfect tile with out us making a trip to a showroom, and installed the selected material flawlessly. His guys rebuilt the shower pan, shower walls, and laid the flooring in a professional and craftsman like manor. They even did this while meeting my own high standards developed as a residential architect.I will and have recommend A & R flooring to friends, family, and clients.
