La Divina is a HIDDEN GEM in Buffalo! These were definitely the best tacos I have had since I was living in South America. During my time there, I became spoiled with amazing food, and never thought I would be able to find food like that in the US. But La Divina is close! Also very reasonably priced. Would give them 10 stars if I could!

One of my favorite place to grab tacos around Buffalo. This place was busy and the staff were helpful. Ordered tripe tacos, birria taco and a glass bottle coke. The food were tasty and fresh. Will definitely come back to grab more tacos.

Really good tacos overall. I absolutely loved the beef taco. I also got chicken and fish which were not the same level but good. If you want an authentic Mexican food experience this is very close.

This is what you need to know, when you come to La Divina Mexican Store. Contrary to what their sign says, they are not a grocery store. The best way to describe this place is, calling it a true hole in the wall. Entering into the so called store, you automatically feel like your in a frontier country. This is the type of place when your away on vacation, and you ask the locals where they eat at. So you leave the hotel or resort your staying at. You walk through a few rough neighborhoods, cut through those wet dingy alleys you see in the movies. Then just when you think your lost, thats when you see La Divina. So you can see, this place is far from fancy. You can eat inside, they have a few tables. The menu is on a chalkboard, behind the register. The drinks are all behind you, in the fridgerator cases. Today I ordered the birria tacos, and Tai had the chicken along with barbacoa tacos. I never heard of a birria taco before, especially a taco you dip into its own au jus sauce. My take on is taco is, its a hearty taco and is actually pretty good. These fried tacos come, with nothing but beef and cheese. I enjoyed my taco more, when I top it off with the condiments from the condiment stand. The fresh onions, cilantro, and salsa, gave this taco a fresh compliment. I will becoming back on those days, when I want to eat what the locals eat.

A little on the pricey side if you like alot of toppings but overall it was really good! The chicken taco was seasoned beautifully and I loved the atmosphere. The huge sign on how to eat a taco really was the cherry on top. As mentioned it was pricey, myself and a friend having 3 tacos each with all toppings and drinks ran us an amount I never thought Id pay for 6 tacos and drinks. Definitely will be back for those chicken tacos though.

I came years ago, was not impressed at all.... visited again to try to give it another shot. Lets say I ate here on the 10th of April and these pictures were taken on the 11th. I ended up going back there the following day, worth the visit, you wont regret it.

The food was absolutely delicious! The meat was so tender and flavorful. I liked that they had a free topping bar for you to add cilantro or sauces. The price was reasonable especially for the portion sizes you got. The staff was super friendly and inviting. Will definitely go again. It was a gem of a find.

These are the most authentic carne asada tacos Ive had in western New York. For years Ive been searching for similar tacos that I ate for over a decade in the Chicago area and this place really is the closest.Unfortunately the meat was dry, but thats just because they prep the meat and keep it warm on the side. I wish theyd prepare the meat fresh to order that way wed get a more juicy, crispy meat in the tacos.Al pastor was decent, not my favorite.Tamales are the most full and fresh Ive had in forever.. Price is actually normal and theyre just awesome.La divina has in my own opinion as a Mexican-American the best steak tacos in Buffalo.

Amazing Tacos! These tacos are authentic, the real deal. I promise you wont be disappointed. Seriously the corn tortillas are delicious. I had tacos de Barbarcoa with cheese and lettuce. I also ordered 2 chicken tamales and they were slamming! The masa to chicken filling ratio was perfect, the masa was moist and the chicken filling so flavorful. The only reason I didnt give it a five star is because the salsas lacked the spice element. That is a personal preference and I understand a lot of ppl dont like spicy food so its understandable that the salsas arent spicy. Secondly the restaurant decor is very humble. This is a restaurant that you walk up, order your food and then sit in some very basic metal chairs and table seating. You come here to eat tacos not for fine dinning experience. However the dining is tacos at their finest. They definitely understandhow to make wonderful tacos! Authentic Authentic Authentic!

Place aint much to look at, but food although high priced is really good. We had 6 tacos, 2 juices and 1 of some type of little cookie . Total spent $46.00 + tip then the lady complained of the credit card fee pointed out a sign that that read: please help reduce card fees and pay cash when possible. I literally never ever handle cash . All said and done food was good .

Absolutely amazing food. The best taco cuisine in Buffalo by far. Everything on the menu is amazing but its very hard not to fill a whole order with the Birria Tacos. They are beyond good. The service is excellent too, the employees are always happy to see you and they work very efficiently! Even though this place is about 20 minutes from home we eat here 2-3 times a week.

Purchased 4 chicken tacos 4 steak tacos and three sides of rice. Nearly $40. The chicken was clearly out of a can. The steak was very dry. Ive had better from this place but today was a disappointment.

I grew up on the border and can attest to the quality and authenticity of the food here. They also carry a small store of impossible to get elsewhere in town items for purchase. The chorizo here is the best in town and the service, for a small taco shop, is awesome. I wholly recommend La Divina for a great casual dining experience.

Addictive, authentic and delicious...in the heart of the Village of Kenmore. Service is always fast and FRIENDLY! Their Birria tacos are delicious. Their Tortas are so tasty made with authentic mexican bread/seasonings. And their queso is the best I have had. I prefer the Shrimp Tacos or Tortas because the shrimp is so FRESH! I always take out, but it has a simple, fast food atmosphere with TVs and tables. Its about the food, but the ambience does make me feel like I am in Mexico and found one of those local, unpretentious little out of the way little gems. Moved to Kenmore a couple months ago and this little nugget was a wonderful surprise! Its also a Mexican store in the back, and sells authentic food products.

Had a craving for Mexican Mexican food....this was NOT it! I Would have given 1 star but the dessert was delicious!!! I was really surprised! Everyone else raves about this place and how fresh the ingredients are.... I however say either too frozen fresh/ not at all..I dont get it......Wasnt impressed at all the taco meats were bland(tasted better next day) wouldve been better spent elsewhere

I have honestly been going here for years and I love seeing so much how this place has grown and evolved into what it is today. Going from only having a handful of tables to all the seating and what they have now is truly amazing! As La Divina has grown the quality of the food has never suffered from it. The food is just as great today as it was my first time many years ago. So it is safe to say that I love this place and wish them nothing but success and great tacos!

Very plain.... No flavor to the meat but SALT Spent 30$ only ate one taco rice was salty also. The drink was great... Very sad bc was told best in buffalo.

Great food! So good in fact we ate it before we remembered to take a picture! We will be back for sure and highly recommend anyone to come try it. There are some great options, it may take some getting used to as you are not served but order and take it to your seat. But it’s worth it! They also have a great selection of gose and other beers to choose from.

My first time there. I was a little intimidated with the ordering process... There was quite a line behind me and I wasnt sure what to get. I wound up getting the barria taco... It was amazing! This is authentic Mexican food!There is a good selection of salsas and toppings. I went with the guac (watery but incredible!) and the Pico de guio (sp?) The Pico was so fresh and delicious, I could have eaten a whole bowl!

Meat was very good. I dont love the double taco shells and would prefer some.cheese, etc.

First time here. absolutely delicious. wish i would have checked out the market, but i was so hungry i just wanted to grab some takeout lunch and get home. i will definitely check out the market next time. i got a torta, a quesadilla, and some tacos. all amazing. the service from the woman working the counter was outstanding. She was both taking orders and cooking the food, and kept me informed that she would be right with me when she had to do some multi-tasking. Food was hot off the grill when received. i just wish i knew her name so i could shout her out to the owners! visited on mon 8/24/20 around 2:30pm if that helps for some recognition! i cannot wait to return for lunch and to visit the market, and i will be letting my local friends know about this gem.

Not sure what else to say about this place besides it’s the best taco I’ve ever had in my life. I’ve eaten some good Mexican food in the south but this place is heads above everything I’ve ever had prior. Do yourself a favor and go eat here!!! 1,000 Thumbs up!

Going to La Divina is always a treat. Never have I had anything from there that wasnt authentic and delicious. I can positively recommend the al pastor, carnitas, cecitas, and asada tacos, all regular buys for me. Ive also loved their choriqueso (cheese sause with chorizo mixed in) although gentler palates may find this a bit too spicy.Only bit of advice I can give is to maybe instruct staff to smile more. I always manage to feel like Im interrupting something else the order taker would rather be doing.

These are the best tacos in the area by far! The quesadillas are really good too. My faves are the shrimp tacos and steak quesadilla. Sometimes they are out of menu items but the service is usually quick

As a recent transplant from El Paso Texas, Ive been missing my Mexican tacos. La Davina is the closest place Ive found in Buffalo that is like Tacos from Juarez Mexico. The food is amazing. The Birria tacos are on point. Also, branch out and try the lengua tacos cause they are sooooo delicious. All that said, your not going to be disappointed if you visit this place. YUM!!!

This place is absolutely amazing!!!! The building is very clean, great environment to be in, the employees are very friendly. They are very quick with the service as well, ive been here twice in the past week, and they had a VERY long line, yet I only waited about 8 minutes in line. And once I ordered, i had my food in 5 minutes. And man, the food is just to die for, ive tried the beef tacos and pulled pork tacos, and they were amazing. The tortillas are very soft, and the meat just has an amazing flavor. This place is by far one of the best around. I HIGHLY reccomend

Very nice Tacos, the tortilla has authentic corn taste, the shrimp, Carnitas and chicken taco trio I had were very tasty. The meats were the star of these tacos, not to down play the toppings, all sauces were great too. Definitely would recommend!

If you are hungry from tacos,, try somewhere else. This is my first time to WNY, just passing through, but if this is 4.7 on 1700+ reviews, I will never eat here again. The chips were stale, having been cooked in old rancid oil. Everything was too salty. The spices were basically missing completely - no flavor in the meats. The Asada was dry. The Quesadilla... I swear it was cheese wiz, and it was dripping oil, basically dumped the ground beef into the tortilla with all of the grease from the pan. Total disappointment - I pray for the resurrection of the taste buds for anyone that gave this place more than 2 stars on its best day.

Came here for Cinco de Mayo to check out a spot I havent been to before. I absolutely LOVED it!!! Nice spacious spot, quick service, good food, chill atmosphere with the music to match. Overall great choice for Mexican cuisine! I will most certainly be back again.

There are some really good Mexican restaurants in the area.This is by far one of the best.I really appreciate the fact that you can see all the fresh raw meats in the cooler cases when you walk in.The Mexican groceries,and unique items available are also what makes this place great.I come here as often as possible and staff is always friendly and helpfully explain menu items.The food portions are awesome as well every item tastes authentic and fresh.as well kid friendly,the shells are made in the store,so of course any taco choice is great,as well the roll of my Torta was fresh,soft ,the rib eye cooked to perfection.I like to ask whoever is a the counter what they like/recommend especially if I havent tried b4,NEVER DISAPPOINTED
