I was a walking around the store looking for something that was posted in their newsletter. I saw that they were teaching a class in the back and stopped to look, for not even 20 seconds and the guy that was teaching the class said “god we are in a fish bowl.” Made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I wasn’t watching for minutes, or even 30 seconds. I was interested in what they were doing and you would think they have windows for that exact reason, for people to see and catch people’s interest. But It actually made me never want to go there again. I will find what I needed else where.

Like always was welcome as I walked through the door . When ask what I was looking for , I explained that I needed a router set for a shaker door. He pointed at the panel bits and said their were many to choose from 🤔. I explained that the bit set was for stiles and rails for a shaker door. He hands me a t&g set. I then helped myself to the the correct set and continued to shop. Times are very tough on finding knowledgeable staff but with your prices you shouldnt have a problem paying for that help. Takes money to make money.

Im a fairly new carpenter but have worked on such projects with my dad for many years. Ive been in multiple times for gifts and other supplies. I was taken aback when a staff member came up to me and actually did his job as a sales rep, I gladly bought about $20 of small odds and ends off the shelf by the register.This is by no means the first time their exemplary service has made a proverbial appearance. Their prices are VERY fair and selection outstanding. While Id argue they cater to the somewhat higher end, if you need ANYTHING in the way of woodworking projects, this should be your first stop, NOT a big box store.See you guys soon!

I honestly cant believe how amazing their customer service is. I recently purchased some parallel clamps and one of them was missing the plastic supports. I didnt realize this until I got home (2 hrs away!!) I called them up at the store and the sent them overnight to me!!!!! Im pretty much speechless. PLEASE, if you need woodworking supplies, etc. go to this store. You will not be disappointed!!

Very friendly and knowledgeable group of guys working here. They went out of their way to cut us an appealing knot from one of the boards that another customer was purchasing and only charged us $2 for project wood. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon!

All the guys were very helpful in finding what I needed and even order a special hinge they didnt have in stock. Mark took time to show me some of his work and widened my ability on projects I wanted to try. I love going to Ticklers!!

A great place to shop if you make 50000 or more a year

We are lucky to have this store available in Buffalo. Down side to this... I always buy way more than I went there for. Great service, knowledgeable staff.

Great place for anyone that enjoys working with their hands

As a woodworker and project guy, I try to bring my teenaged sons into projects as much as possible. Now theyve acted on their own interests and have their own project interests, visions, and goals. Today we came in for pen turning supplies. Normally well stop for knife projects and scales. We always find what we need at Rockler. Also, the staff is always walking around to help out or to answer questions. I love that much of what Im interested in, theres a guy whos done it and can offer advice from experience. Ive also taken a class on pen turning here with my sons (I highly suggest doing). Great store!

FINALLY KNOWLEDGEABLE EMPLOYEES!! JAY took care of my mom and I. We have been looking for bathroom cabinet hinges for almost a whole year at many specialty stores and not one person knew the difference of the type or what we even meant while explaining. 2 months ago I visited the Rockler store, it was a 2 hour trip, but needed advise on a router lift kit and table. They were very helpful.3 days ago I visited again for a dust collection system, I explained I didnt know exactly what parts I needed to complete the system. The clerk gathered up some parts. I thought I was good to go. When I got home I started to assemble, by the time I tried to put the hose into the the quick change handle I found out I didnt have the adapter to go with it. Also not one clamp.What a waste of time.I emailed only to receive an email back saying they received my email.

This recent visit was no different from any other. Rockler is a great store, and the employees, there, are top knotch.

Not happy! Most of the time great store. But the other day, Saturday to be exact. I worked most of the day and had plans to drive the 50 miles to the store. I knew I was going to be close to closing time. I called the store when I was about 20 mins away to ask if someone could stay just a few minutes after closing for me to pick up what I needed, but was told that the registers shut off at closing. What ever happened to taking care of the customer? Understandable it was late on Saturday but could have asked what I was interested in and had it at the counter so it wont have taken more than 5 mins. Not happy! May not return to that store!

I walked In looked around for a while I was never greated, But constantly heard them speaking to other customers as they walked through the door. Even in the same isle with other customers they were asked directly if they needed anything, again completely ignored. Why?Employees having conversations right in front of you not once did any employee in that store address me or say hello, not even on the way out.

Helpful experienced staff. Just about everything for a wood worker at reasonable prices. Even the weekend handy man can learn from the classes and find useful products.

Its an adult toy store. I overheard a woman say, This isnt a place for women and children. which is equal parts funny and sexist. Its just a place for people to be passionate about all things tools and wood.
