I love this store!!! I miss the Eastern Hills location, but this has everything that one lacked and then some. The owners and their family are wonderful and go out of the way to be helpful and find anything you need!!!!

A Dollar is a misleading name. Most things are well over a dollar, that being said it is generally cheaper than other convenience type stores around like Rite Aide and CVS.They require an ID for credit card purchases and have a minimum for debit and credit of $10 I think, Ill edit this if I go back and see that its different

Cheap stuff, although everything isnt only a dollar. Some things are ridiculously overpriced. Convenient location for anybody downtown. Not the cleanest nor the friendliest (staff barely speaks English).

In September this year I went to purchase a card,an birthday bag for my grandson, upon entering the store, I was walking towards the area to get the items I needed, their was a man, I believe of Indian decent on a ladder. I ask the man could he moved the ladder, he climb down, spread the ladder open an wave for me to go under,I looked at the man an said I was not going under the ladder an no Im not superstitious. I then told him I would never asked a customer to go under a ladder. HIS response to me was I dont need you money. I did purchase the items I needed an told him, he damn strait,I will never Grace his dollar, store again. Many may wonder why I didnt just walk around to get the items I needed another way. I just had two surgeries back to back on my back. I use to love this store, they have some nice things, however, like I said never will give this person money again even though I have to catch a bus to a stored far from where Im at. I really want people to boycott him, but the prices an elderly people it is easy for them . So to the owner, you lost one customer, cause you said you didnt need my money . Also a letter also being sent to the BBB. You lose because one lost can affect your bottom line.

Good prices and service. Not everything is a dollar though.

Not much here for a dollar and one time, they took my American Express BlueBird card and the next time, they didnt and the presumed owner wasnt very nice about it. I had over $100 of stuff that had to go back so I could make sure they didnt charge my other card. It took forever and held up people behind me. Selection is limited, they have few food items and a lot if things dont have prices marked, or what that charge doesnt match the sticker or shelf tag. That said, there isnt much else in the area,so its handy for a cold drink, toothpicks, a sewing kit, cards, extension cords, food storage bins, cold medicine, socks, aluminum foil, etc.

Certain things are priced to high, but all in all this store has a variety of things to buy from housewares, party favors, sandals,, jewelry, dog and cat food, spices and much much more. You could even buy a souvenir here.
