Muffler broke unexpectedly and I couldn’t take it to my usual mechanic. I was able to bring my car in here and have the work done the same day. They were honest and very upfront about the work which I appreciated greatly. I depend on my vehicle for work so to be able to have it fixed the very next morning means a great deal to me. Customer service was amazing and a big reason why I decided to have them do the work. I almost didn’t want to leave after my car was done because I was having so much fun just hanging out. I would definitely bring my car back and recommend this place to anyone.

Really disappointed with the service. Went there with check engine light , waiting 2 weeks for parts, call them 3 time. Finally they call me back said it will be $550 . Went to next door garage I was told I need a sensor got original one with $120. Replacement took just about 5 minutes. Problem solve. Monro told me I need to leave my car as it will take long time to fix. What a disappointment.

Wouldnt go back here if my life depended on it. I came here 2 times. The second time, I need all 4 new tires and 1 link stabilizer fixed. They came back and told me BOTH stabilizers had to be fixed, fine. After everything, I left with one less hub cap, that they tried to convince me fell off, although I was literally there less than 24 hours prior to. They didnt fix my link stabilizers (took my car to a different shop weeks later), they in fact BROKE them. Broke the bracket, tried to weld it back, couldnt, and left it that way. So there was a BAR swinging back and forth underneath the car. So they never fixed my car, replaced all tires and lost a hub cap. I called them to inform them and all I was told was the guy who fixed my car doesnt work for them anymore. This place is an absolute nightmare filled with clueless people

I could not find a place on a Saturday to plug my tire and I am so happy I was able to come here! I was there for maybe 15 minutes and the staff there was so friendly and helpful just in that short time!

I came to Monroe to get my vehicle looked at I been hearing a squeaking noise coming from the vehicle for weeks When I entered Monroe the staff member I encountered name Kris was very professional, informative and courteous! Come to this Monro! I needed my car fixed as quickly as possible so I went to the Monro on MAIN at 9:15 and they were suppose to be open at 9AM. They should have been open for at least 15 mins at this point but they did not open until 11am this day. I called the Monro on Deleware and Chris answered and told me that I could bring my car in right then. Chris is one of the most patient, considerate, and knowledgeable workers and everyone else working is just as pleasant! I highly recommend coming here for any car problems ! Chris and his staff are great!!

My daughter goes to Buffalo State and needed brakes on her car. I live 4 hours away and told her to take it to Pep Boys which is close to the school. I told her it would probably be a $500 job. Pep Boys quoted her $1127!! I looked on the internet to find another service center near the school and called Monro at 6:30 pm and they quoted me $700 for the same work that Pep Boys was going to do. I asked if my daughter could bring the car over that night so they could do the work the next day and the man said sure and that he would even wait if she didn’t get there by 7. I wish I could remember this mans name. The next day a very nice woman I think her name was Melissa called me and said it didn’t need all what Pep Boys said and only charged $491. Monro on Delaware Ave in Buffalo NY is the place to go folks!!

They took me in right away with an hour left before they closed on a Saturday to remove a nail from my tire. The staff was amazing and helped when I was in a tight bind. Such a great experience. Will be returning for service in the future.

Came in for an inspection this past Sunday and turns out my front brakes were not good .. after another local shop told me they were “prefect” 🙄🙄 i was the only customer. They got my brakes done and inspection done within an hour. You can tell the difference and car feels better while braking. Highly recommend and nice guys!!

Went to try and get an oil change, they were busy. Cool! Made an appointment for the next day at 9am showed up. Turned me around no cars on lifts, no people waiting, no lines. They turned me around and told me come back at 12. I guess they pick & choose whom they want to do business with.

I came to get an oil change and left with a broken emergency break line. And he also set a fuse off and made my car overheat for 3 days after his terrible work. The girl that was working she didnt even know anything about oil changes neither did I which made it frustrating. I had to call the police. They never fixed it the guy Chris with orange hair count your days because there limited!!! Monroe Inc knows the situation and I believe his days are really limited

Ill start with the positive: Ive been to Monro a few times now and the staff is very personable and helpful. They explained exactly what needed to be fixed when I brought my car in for inspection a few months ago.However, when I decided to bring my car back to this location for an oil change, I was disappointed with the customer service. I called to make an appointment and mentioned several times that I had a coupon from the Monro website for a $15.99 oil change. When I arrived, I was told that the coupon was only valid if I applied for a charge card. This was not disclosed on the coupon, the website, or when I mentioned it twice on the phone. James told me that offer subject to change meant that the location could stipulate their own conditions. I was frustrated that this was not mentioned on the phone because I ended up paying twice what I was expecting and I would have gone somewhere else if I had known. I had previously recommended this location to friends but this situation is off putting and I will explore other options in the future.

If I could give them a lower review, I would. I went in for an oil change. They broke my oil pan gasket and told me it was my transmission. Insisted I go to a specific place to get my transmission issue fixed. Went somewhere else to get a second opinion, it was my oil pan gasket that was broken. I dont recommend this place to anyone, not even for basic things.

CRIMINAL! This place is a complete scam, DO NOT bring your car here! I have worked in auto collision as well as being a mechanic for 7 years. I brought a car in for an inspection that I completely went through and knew it would pass. The mechanic calls me over and tells me in his exact words “your brakes are so bad they’re extremely dangerous and need to be changed immediately I’m really doing you a favor letting you driving it out of here but let’s schedule the brakes.” So my response was, no thanks I’ll go to my shop and take it apart right now. I could see the look in his face. I had done all the pads and rotors 1 month before.. I knew he was lying, he knew he was lying. Don’t be fooled by this place, save your money and find an honest mechanic.

Came here for an inspection and James was INCREDIBLY HELPFUL. He really made me feel comfortable and walked through all the steps for me. He even took some money off seeing as my repair was going to be pricey. I HIGHLY recommend coming here and speaking with James, he WILL take care of you! Definitely found my new mechanic.

We went to this shop last Saturday 2/28/20 completely frustrated about an issue I was having with my car. The service was GREAT. We were treated fairly, with respect and professionalism. The manager on this day was extremely helpful and polite. I consider myself a customer now and will recommend to friends every chance I get. As a woman I feel a little hesitant to go to car shops out of fear of being taken advantage of. This was not the case here. Im very glad I chose this shop to help with my car troubles and will definitely go back!

Overall I would say my experience was average and not exceptional. I would say the workers weren’t all that friendly. They did a good job locating my tire (non stock for them) quickly and efficiently. That was the one above average part of my experience. The negatives would be not mentioning the 60$ rebate I was eligible for. The counter literally has two signs, but no mention of it all. Which is below or just average of a experience. I was possibly interested in getting the Monro plus tire package, but the worker wasn’t really interested in talking about it. The tire installation was below average. I mean, who installs tires and doesn’t put caps on all the stems... (Munro Tire on Delaware)They reinstalled my spare at no charge (Thanks !)I would not say I had a bad experience, but it left a little to be desired. I probably will not go back.

Brought my car in to get my radiator replaced and assess the state of its muffler since driving had become rather noisy.So the radiator was replaced no problem and they even welded my hood latch back in place to the bar since it had rusted through on one side (the way the old radiator had been situated, the hood was able to close no problem despite this. However, with the new radiator situated correctly, the hood wouldn’t close properly). They were able to give this a quick fix.As for the noise, they found a hole in the rear exhaust pipe and simply patched it up with some muffler mat to reduce the noise for a few months to allow some time between car maintenance.This experience was top notch, from the friendly helpfulness of staff to the quality of work, and only further validates why I have been and will continue to bring my car here.----------------------------------------------------------------------Brought my car in for a routine oil change and had another fantastic experience! The team here went above and beyond for me while I was visiting from out of town in February and this glowing review is long overdue. I drove up from Pittsburgh on a Saturday and started having issues with my steering wheel shuddering while on the highway. I brought it in on Sunday and Dave stayed late working on it--he rebalanced the tires, let me take a test drive and then suggested a number of other possible fixes when I found it was still having the issue. Didnt charge me at all for the work on Sunday! I brought the car in the next morning and he spent all day with the car, going over the front end completely and replacing a bunch of hardware plus my front brake rotors which I had driven way past their lifespan. The problem was fixed and then some, the front end was noticeably tighter even to me and I know barely anything about cars. Gave me a serious discount on the work too to let me know he wasnt screwing with me. I would recommend this place in a heartbeat, its no fun being away from home with car trouble and at the mercy of a total stranger but the team here absolutely did right by me. Thank you!!

Had an oil change done for my wifes Subaru. She complained that the car was smoking a lot afterwards but I poo-hood her.Then 2 months later went to Subaru garage for recall where they informed me that the oil was overfilled by 5 quarts! Subaru cleaned out the oil, and the engine (fuel induction / throttle body) so I presented the bill and proof of overfilling to Monroe. They didnt dispute the issue but told me that corporate had to approve reimbursement. When I called back a week later they said Monroe was not going to reimburse me at all. Apparently, they feel they are not liable for any mistakes made by their service centers. Ouch. Wont return to Monroe. Ever.

This is the only Monro Muffler I go to in Buffalo. The staff is knowledgeable and fair, especially Dave. Its located on a bus line so I dont have to worry about finding transportation when I drop my car off and when I pick it up. I highly recommend this location to everyone.

Rick and Andrew were amazing. My tire had a screw in it. I was going to replace the whole tire at a later date but Rick said that my tires were excellent and the patch was stronger than a new tire. I go here for everything, oil changes etc. they are the best !!!

I always take my car to get inspected at monro muffler. They are almost always available to do it and it’s usually quick and easy! Once again they completed my inspection in a efficient time even though I called last minute! The manager David was so nice and helpful, will always go back again.

I had my oil changed here and thought nothing of it, when I came to get the car my wipers had been changed and I was told that I had asked for new ones - I had not, and it was not mentioned anywhere on the agreement we made for work. Steve offers to give me a deal and split the bill for the wipers, which is hardly a deal when I never wanted them in the first place (and he was massively overcharging for a pair of wiper blades.) I had to refuse multiple times before he would agree not to charge me for work I didnt ask for.Not two weeks after my car was here, I have an oil leak. I bring the car back and Steve assures me there is *no way* is has anything to do with the work they did on my car. See, I might believe that except the whole experience getting a line fixed was absurd. The first quote we got was for $175. Then after the work was COMPLETE I was told it would be $250. Ok, estimates can be wrong.When I picked the car up, I was charged OVER $300 for the work. How could that be when I was told $250 after the repairs were finished?When I asked why it was more, Steve very condescendingly told me he had actually given me a discount - he then started pointing to the items on the bill and telling me how to calculate 10% off. I can do math, Steve, what I cant do is understand why you think your customers wont notice that you are scamming them. I was charged almost double the initial quote.To quote some reviewers from Yelp:Scam artistsSteve talks to his customers like they are stupid!Ladies beware, he tried to mill me for more moneyI wont be returning to this location ever again!

This place was wonderful. We took our vehicle there late July 3rd because it was making a clanging noise right after we got it from another auto shop out of town. We needed it back for a camping trip on the 5th. They worked hours on our vehicle on the Fourth of July so we could go camping the next day. They did not charge us for the labor, because it was the other shop who caused the problem. THANK YOU to the two men who saved our camping trip.

Fair and honest and fast. Ive taken my vehicle to these guys twice within the week and theyve been fast and more than fair and honest. I will definitely continue to bring my car here from now on. I couldnt be happier, the guys are not just out to take your money any way they can; rather they seem to place high priority and proper and honest service and repair with good advice.

Not only did they take me in on the same day, but they had the job done in 45 minutes total! I usually take my car to the Mercedes dealership to get inspected, but not anymore!! Tie rod snapped across the street from Monroe, an employee came over checked my car out. Got me in instantly and had the part there within 20 minutes. All and all the price was very reasonable and it the work was done within an hr. Super helpful and professional, definitely recommended.

After countless unsuccessful visits to different shops in the area and no definite answer as to what the problem with my vehicle was, I decided to give it one last shot (before purchasing a different vehicle) and stopped by. The staff at the Delaware location is great. But I have to give a fat shout out to the mechanic Andrew R. He was incredibly helpful with some issues I was having with my Nissan Altima. Not only was he knowledgeable about what issues I was having but he was also super friendly and worked around my schedule! I will 100% go back to Andrew at Monro for and future problems I may have and would recommend him and their establishment to my friends and family.

I took my car in because of a rattling noise. They called me back saying I had pop cans rolling around and that the noise was gone. This cost$30. I picked up my car and immediately after pulling out I still heard the noise. I took the car to another shop. They fixed the issue. I feel as though these guys just wanted quick and easy money. Im very disappointed with the service I was provided.

I never go to these places because I feel they want to rip you off. This place isnt one of those. Needed an inspection with super short notice, got me in and out quick (brand new car), no BS.

I initially placed an order for snow tires online but unfortunately the tires werent yet actually available in NY. The guys at Monro 2227 Delware started called around to find me the best deal for my price range and just a few hours later had me setup with a set of all seasons that drive and look great in these frigid Western NY winters.I plan on getting my summer tires mounted on a second set a wheels and this will be the first place I go. Service was handled with a smile and what couldve been a big old heap of frustration was a quick and joyful exchange.

I had a little vibration before the service but didnt think it was from the balance, but it was. They have great customer service and went that extra mile. Garrett and his mechanics were great today. They put my mind at ease about what was going on with my bosses vehicle which is a wheelchair van. I was there just to get the tires replaced and ask them to take a look at the control arm assembly.They shared what the cost would be and options available to my boss. Now my boss and I can make an informed decision and not feel we are being taken to the cleaners.Garrett recommended another Monroe facility at Main and Hertel which my boss is going to check out before getting a quote again at the dealership.I really thank Garrett and his mechanic for being open and free with not only their advice but with their knowledge as well. Makes me more comfortable going there in the future for even the little things like an oil change.

This place is incredibly unprofessional and if I could give them zero stars, I would. There was a lack of transparency throughout my entire experience here. Having a car issue is already stressful enough, and this Monro location just made my situation even more stressful. One employee was telling me one thing and another was telling me something different. They quoted me for way more than what the services should cost, in fact the person I spoke to on the phone after bringing my car even admitted that I could get this worked on cheaper, elsewhere. I allowed them to do some of the work that my car needed, $400 later, and we agreed for me to pick up my car in the morning. The employee on the phone said they open at 7:30am. And they do open at 7:30am, according to their hours on the window, but it is 8:50am and there is still no one to be found. Meanwhile I’ve been standing outside this entire time waiting for someone to show up to give me my keys so that I can go to work. They will not receive my business again.

I came here for an inspection. Firstly both the men working there were very unprofessional, cursing, complaining about their personal lives in front of everyone, just extremely uncomfortable but my car had already been taken in so I stayed despite the hostile , weird environment. Then they said I needed $650 worth in parts in order to pass inspection. I thought this was so weird I just had a ton of work done on my car. I immediately left and went to Mavis Tire down the street where they passed my cars inspection with no problem and no mention of these “needed parts.” It is safe to say that I will never be going here again. Even if they passed my car without any problems I still wouldn’t come back because both the workers were so unprofessional.

Went for a state inspection which was done in under an hour. Have been in the past for squeaky belts and flat tires. The staff is always friendly and happy to help. Will definitely be back.

I had been to numerous auto shops to have it fixed including a Toyota dealer.they fixed it in one visit I have to say I have had bad experiences at other Monroe Mufflers, especially the one at Main and Hertal Sheridan and Niagara Falls Boulevard. Ryan and the boys have a new regular customer.
