Admit it. You have been a regular at Aldis for more than a few years now. I am not going to crack on you for that habit. I am going to say that I too appreciate holding on to as much cash as I can too. I know what I can find at Aldis for a better price than what I would have to pay at a supermarket. I also know that the Aisle Of Shame is perhaps the single most satisfying pleasure that this place has to offer, because you never know what you may find. My kids go to private school, I go to Aldis, is there anything wrong with that?

Always a solid choice to shop and they often have good deals on various produce such as organic bananas for 57c/lb.

This ALDI store is located at the corner of Arlinghton Heights Rd and Dundee Rd which is a fairly busy location. Hence the store could be busy at times too. This has its pluses and minuses since the produce rotation seems to be more frequent and the variety is better too. At the same time, you may need to be there earlier in the season for the seasonal and holiday items that could be in high demand.Overall very well run store. I would definitely recommend it.

This place is great for the local community. But because they are mainly the only ones there the tax on there products are higher.

Because of Covid 19 store manager explained their early closings to allow for cleaning, which is understandable. Good variety of items in a small space. Some things at one Aldi, but cant get at a different one due to inventory limitations because of space. Really nice staff. My sisters absolutely love Aldis. Its not my first go to thought, but I can always find something when I go to it. :)

Everything was fine until I went to check out. There was only one register available and the line was through the aisles. I had to wait 15 minutes and then finally a new line opened up.

Too crowded, people not wearing masks. No sanitizing of counters between customers. :(

Typical Aldi located at busy Arlington heights road and Dundee intersection. Store is consistently kept clean and stocked. Seasonal aisle always has something interesting/ decorative for a great value. Staff works fast and is welcoming. COVID precautions have been taken and are enforced which makes for a safe shopping experience. Make sure to bring a quarter for the carts and your own bags!

Had to change my review. Becoming very notorious for having only one check out lane open while the line wraps around the store. The one checker is usually working very hard with no support. Ive seen this outside of peak hours as well. Not a quick stop anymore.

Im a fan. Aldi truly has some great bargains. Particularly like their not frozen salmon. its consistently fantastic. Cant be beat. Also their brand of cheezits. Yummy.

I see so much negativity...its a no-frills store in order to keep prices down. The cart system ensures that 99% of the customers will return the cart, thus keeping prices down because they dont need a cart wrangler. The coin mechanism can get sticky. Jiggle it. Ive never lost a quarter yet. They work with a skeleton crew, as do all Aldis. Rarely are 2 checkouts open at the same time but Ive witnessed it. You have to make little sacrifices for your low prices. The produce is usually excellent, love the salmon, tuna is better quality than chicken of the sea cat food...I find most of their house brands equal to or better than name brands.Yeah, its smaller than the one in Palatine but I go here because its closer.And I have no problems with any of the staff, never noticed any rudeness. I LOVE my Aldi!

I love this store. I love the fact that I can always find what I am looking for. It looks exactly like LIDL in Europe.

Place is good, fresh vegetables. I have been there 2 times and both of them we were treated very bad by a cashier. All checkouts were closed and this old lady was screaming to the clients to go and make a line on the one she was going to open. Sorry Aldi, you must be checking how your people treat your customers. Even quality is good, I am not planning to return to this store.

This Aldi location is not my favorite. It is not as large nor is it updated like many others. There is not as much variety and the prices are higher than my usual Aldi, but it is still a decent value.

Aldis used to be really good but the stuff I used to love they dont carry anymore and you cant use reusable bags to bring in the store theyd rather sell you paper bags so they can make money off of you have to find a better place to grocery shop

Its easy for on the way back home stop for us but dont find things. Most of the times fresh vegetables are almost out of stock. Most of the things are not kept properly. I think not maintained well.

Thats a really good place if you dont want to drive far - fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, goods for home, pets, sweets and snacks. Everything you need in one place. And I really like the staff there-always friendly and professional.

I like the store for its low price and good selections. There is one young lady who is really kind all the time but I had pretty bad experience with some of the workers there. The lady at the register tends to be rude and rush people. There is a difference between doing things speedily and rushing people. She dragged my cart to her side so strong that my little son who was in the cart was hit inside the cart. She did not seem to notice what she just did and did not say sorry. Last time, I asked if she had a certain salad I was looking for. She said she would go to the back and get it but was clearing things from the wrack and taking a very long time without saying anything to me. So I asked her nicely if she is finding it. She gave me such an attitude.

Great place to spend less and get More!! I love to buy my staple items from here. Also, my dairy products. I shopped in my first ever Aldi, in 96, while visiting overseas in Holland

Always the best pricing and the quality is exceptional. I always seem to find some new item that turns out to be a new favorite. Staff is always so friendly too. Just wish some items were not removed because they are seasonal, but other than that great experience.

We are consistent customers at the various Aldi locations. Love their prices. Most of their private label products are as good as big supermarkets. Once you get the hang of how to shop at Aldi, its easy, and you understand how their process keeps costs low.

The staff was a little slower at the rush, and it made for frustrated customers, and the tight aisles can be hard to navigate when there is more than one cart passing by. Some customers who shop there dont have proper manners when it comes to personal space. On most days the staff is usually very fun and efficient, especially the younger workers. Its not one of their best locations with convenience and store design, but its usually great to go to around the last two hours before closing

Great pricing on a lot of products that are as good as name brand. Older store so its not as pretty as some of the new ones but definitely worth the stop if you want to save money. Salmon is cheaper than Costcos.

This store has sure gotten better over the years.Now organic veggs, healthier meats, alternative dairy milk & some really good wine too.Theyre also bringing in other non-food items, i guess to be competitive, & they differ every week. Plants/flowers too.

They do a good job managing the prices on the staple items I buy, but not a great job. It used to be that the price was the same from week to week, now there are reductions. Is a sale needed to get me in the store? Fixed price was one of the draws ....

Its a smaller location but the staff are friendly and helpful and thats what I like to find where I shop. I shop for 3 homes aside from my own and go through with 2 carts full of groceries and they are so patient with us. They are great people!

You either like Aldi or you hate them.Theyre based in Germany and even the Germans have a love/hate relationship with them.Produce is priced well. Chocolate bars are imported from Germany. Special Deals can be very good deals.Service has improved significantly over the past few years. With limited employees per store, service can be slow but not as slow as in years past.Finally, bakery prices are excellent. A great place to buy bagels, buns, and bread.

ALDI is such a nice store. Meats, fruits, nuts, breads, salads, you can find everything here.

The products and food that they sell are very cheap. I went there to buy a large bottle of olive oil and they only had small bottles. They basically have small bottles of everything. They also are not handicapped equipped. They don’t have any accessibility device for the handicap which is required by the ADA. I asked the Cashier if they had a motorized scooter and the cashier said no and didn’t even care.

Always has a great selection of alternative diet food selections and adult beverages. where I would spend an hour looking through all of the aisles in a large grocery store finding Limited gluten free and vegan options I spend minutes in this Aldi finding plenty it healthier options to choose from.

My favourite grocery stores in the USA with Whole Foods. They have their own name products that are amazing! Always new items that are very good quality.

This Aldi is a lot nicer than the one near me...wider aisles and bigger sections for each type of food...and has more plentiful parking (though the lot needs repairs). Aldi always has great deals, but remember that you need a quarter to release a cart, which you get back later, and you have to pack your bags yourself. On this particular trip, several registers were not working, so there were long lines for the one working register, but the staff was friendly and working hard to resolve the issue.

Its ALDI , good prices for whatever items they sell.... if you have been to one ALDI you have been to them all, since they all look about the same, and stock about the same selection.

One of my favorite places to shop for groceries. Have pretty much everything a big chain store would carry, for a much lower price. Admittedly, the selection tends to be narrower, especially for fresh produce, but nonetheless, this is still my go to place for most of my shopping needs, and I come almost every week.

You can save a few pennies and get rude service as a bonus! You may pay a little more,but youll get a better deal and better service at most other stores in the area.

Great store, clean courteous employees, some items change or are no longer being sold, is what I dont like. I get use to a item, and its no longer available . But I usually find other items that are useful, affordable prices .friendly staff.

This Aldis is in need up updating and remodeling. It is a smaller Aldis and has a smaller selection of products than the newer Aldis. Parking can be somewhat tricky with the layout and nearby street access.

Absolutely love the shopping market of Aldi. I did not know that they were owned by Trader Joes, and it certainly explains why they consistently have high quality products that are unique to this small supermarket. I love that they have many options for gluten-free foods, as well as lots of options for chips, snacks, in those kinds of items that you could put into a lunch bag for a child who is packing a lunch for school. Their prices are outstanding and it is easy to find a bargain anytime you go to Aldi.

This is the worst aldi of all time. It looks like a bomb went off. This store is not updated like most, if not all others in the area. There are no labeled aisles, most product placement is messy and out of stock. One person working check out. This aldi was gross too. Never going to this one again.
