Buffalo Grove location does not follow their hours of operation. They are closing their store any time for their convenience. I already did two trips there and no luck. They just post note on their door Sorry, we are closed . It would be great to update your hours at least on Google constantly for respecting your potential customers time.

Id give zero stars if I could. Its been three weeks since an order for lenses was submitted, and theyre still not ready. After following up for the third time, a rude message was left stating that it had only been two weeks since the order was placed and insurance was to blame for the delay. This is a lie because I know from my own work experience that the lenses could not have been selected or paid for in the first place unless insurance approved. Additionally, the two week mark is indicative of when I followed up on the status of the lenses after waiting for a week when staff told me they would be ready. Just be upfront that an error was made by staff and the order wasnt placed on time instead of placing blame elsewhere.

Excellent service! Ive purchased 5 pairs of glasses here over the past 8 years or so. These folks work with you to find the best product given your specific needs. Great quality and they always beat their timing estimates.

I got an appointment notice nevertheless I didn’t do. I refused the last time that I don’t make a reservation but they did.Please be careful for an automatic confirmation email, it looks like virus or fraud.

Etel is the friendliest and most helpful associates. My dog broke my glasses and I called her crying because she had just sold them to me not that long ago and I loved them so much. She was able to order me a new pair of lenses and put them back together for me. Good as new. And without her it couldn’t have been easier. Highly recommend working with her!

Great location, great staff and overall a great experience. Dr. Berkovich was very kind and friendly and answered all of my questions. The staff at this location was also very courteous, they made sure to give me a breakdown of what I was covered for versus what I would be paying, which was very helpful.

Throughout my exam, Dr. Berkovich displayed genuine concern and understanding of the questions that I posed regarding my vision problems. The efficiency of his feedback and knowledge left me feeling more content and satisfied from my visit.The cleansiness and customer service was a plus. Ill definitely be back. Thanks

The Doctor got my prescription right because I can see great. They were also very kind and I felt comfortable. Gaylord and Etel helped me determine what frames worked well for me and I love them. Ive even gotten compliments from people about my new glasses. I received them very quickly too. I highly recommend this Pearle Vision. Even before the new staff I went here. This was my third year in a row.

Went in to get a new nose piece for my glasses. Diane was very pleasant and took care of me immediately. She did ask if I purchased them there. I did and said so, but am not sure if that was a condition of getting the new piece at no charge. Leo never charged me for simple repairs and they did not either. I do miss Leo though. I felt like I was frequenting a local family owned business as opposed to a chain and wanted to give them my business. Since it was taken over, I haven’t had the same feeling. Perhaps if they sent out a letter to their established customers, informing them that the business was sold and they welcomed the old customers back.Update: Returned for a new prescription. Gaylord took care of me and was ever so accommodating. Turns out my prescription was wrong (not their error) and the lens had to be remade. They quickly remade it at no charge and made sure it was correct. I was updated on the progress and when it would be ready so as not to be concerned. A couple of weeks later, Gaylord called me to make sure everything was ok. I have been extremely pleased with their service.

I havent had an eye exam in years, which made me nervous, but with his extensive knowledge and experience, I couldnt have asked for an easier and smoother appointment. Id give no star if I can. Horrible place. They do not have technicians and the Optometrist took less time to check both of my eyes than a hair stylist at Great Clips to cut my hair. The Optometrist didnt even perform number of exams and the ones that she did ware so rushed that I feel may not been accurate at all. I cancelled my kids and wifes appointment. Even Walmart vision centers are 1000 times better than this place.

We worked with the store owner, Leo, who works there all the time. He was super-helpful in assisting my wife with the decision of whether to get bifocals or single prescription glasses, about the frame choice, (materials and features besides style & color) and other things, such as frame and lens materials, weight, learning curve for bifocals, etc.My son was due for a new pair of glasses and didnt want them. We thought maybe sunglasses, but Leo helped us pick out some blue Rec Specs that my son just loves.He explained their store discount (buy one, get one 50% off) vs. my vision plans coverage, and helped us make the right decision there as well.Even with all that, he didnt mind to adjust my wife & sons current glasses fit for no charge.Just great service, all-around.

1. MisPrescribed my glasses. Had to wait several days to get a correction appointment. Then had to wait another 3 to 4 weeks to get the replacement lenses in.2. Their lens cutter comes in only one day a week. This added another few weeks to when I could finally get my correction lenses installed. Eg, arrive on Friday, you cant get them installed for a week. If you are not available that next Thursday, you have to wait to next Thursday.3. Ordered contact lenses, were due in about 10 days later. Several days after due date, I had to call to find out if contacts were in. Due dates dont seem reliable.

Etel the assistant store manager was extremely professional and well versed in the product the store has. She was knowledgeable and assisted with different styles and brands until i found the perfect pair. Dr Kulbak was professional and noticed something in my prescription no other doctor hasn’t noticed before! AMAZING experienece. You get what you pay for with the staff at this location. Highly recommend!!!

Dr Adalina Kulbak is terrific! She was kind and took her time and explained everything. Zurab was able to adjust my glasses so that my progressive lenses fit right. I am very happy with this Pearle Vision location.

My family has been going to Leo for years. He is very helpful. Today I came in with a broken pair of glasses. He fixed them for free. Who does that these days? This guy is the man.

I was very nervous about going to a chain for glasses and an eye exam. The fears are gone, this place did an awsome job!

We waited for one hour beyond our appointment time. Wasted half a day at this location.
