The owner and staff at Quality Grinding went the extra mile to accommodate my needs. I live in San Diego, and while it would be typical to drop my work piece off (a 100 mile plus drive one way), and pick it up a few days later; they were willing to have me drop it off in the morning and pick it up before closing the same day. As it turned out, the tolerances in the milling machine table I was having them grind were in worse shape than I anticipated. The extra work required an employee to work overtime, and the owner to wait to close up.This firm is big time with massive and varied machines to precision grind and work a variety of metals and materials, like graphite. They have grinding equipment with the capability to handle quantities and very large work pieces. In addition, they are ISO rated, but were willing to take care of me with the understanding they would probably never see me again.I would do business with them again in a heart beat. And, I have no reservation in recommending them to others in need of grinding or machining services.
