Management should do something about crazy church guy on a megaphone on the street. Do NOT ignore since he stands outside of your immediate area. Ive never seen this guy on H Mart side. See if using amplifier is not allowed. H Mart must be protecting their vibe and keep it more pleasant prohibiting this guy in their area. Allowing this guy whether what he screams is a good message or not, is almost a deal breaker.

If you look for fresh vegetable, this is place. But if you look for korean snack sale. I would visit Zion across street. But again, whenever I want to buy vegetables for my family and for making kimchi, this is legit place for fresh vegetables. I have no reason to drop stars.

A great alternative in comparison to shopping to big chain korean market. It was clean, calming music, not too crowded, fresh fruits, vegetables, and seafood. Looks like they have decent sales and have variety of wine stock up. Has also little food shops inside the market.

This was my first time to step inside of this Super market. This place carried most of the popular items from Asian country. It was obviously because their customers were from Korea. They also carried other products and groceries for their other groups. Even the place was big, but their products were very organized and fresh. This market was very busy with customers, and the sale they constantly advertised. It was very simple because each corner there were other like Zion Market and H Mart just across streets to each other. So with this competition no wonder they all in competition to each other for business. Overall, l really liked this place , because it has its unique on the products which I found and fit to my needs.

First time in the store and it was a good experience. Its a very huge store but it is also pretty crowded. The aisles are pretty small and there are a lot products around making it had to move smoothly around the store. That would be my only complaint other then that the staff was very friendly. The long line went extreamly fast. It had a great selection of meats,seafood,noodles and treats. Price was very reasonable too! I will definitely go back.

Gross MEAT department! $40 for a box of FAT marinated ribs. So disgusting and sad that this market has to resort to way of doing business. Wont be going back.

This was the first time I went today (have passed by many times). Decided to take my mom here cause she loves Jja Jang Myun (black bean noodles). I ordered the Jjam Pong (mildly spicy seafood noodle). Also, ordered a side of fried dumplings. I was very impressed how fresh and how good it tasted. I am sure my mom will bring my dad here. I will be back for sure. Plus, our waiter was very polite.

So this is the Buena Park outlet of the Korean supermarket chain called Hannam Chain Store. This one is a bit larger than the one on Olympic Blvd in Koreatown. The live seafood, kimchee, and gifts selection is larger than the Koreatown version. Also the food court offers a bit more venues. If you come near Buena Park this a good choice for reasonably priced Korean supermarket 🛒.

I filled a big bag with fresh produce (bok choy, broccoli, onions, cucumbers, and cabbage) for less than $4. But this place stinks from bad seafood, and the staff are not friendly at all.

It was pretty cool. Kinda big but in sure for the normal korean it was easy to navigate. For the average american it has some good variety of sides for kbbq and stuff and some good meat and fish etc. If you need everything thats standard Id go to HMART lol. Just because hmart is super easy to navigate etc but this place has BETTER AND NICER EMPLOYEES. Im serious and Ive only been here once.

I am not familiar with most of the products at this market but if you are trying to make certain asian dishes you will probably find those hard to find ingredients at this place and you will find that the prices are very reasonable. They have great produce and fresh seafood. For those Ramen fans there is lots of selection. Even though I cant understand most of the employees I find that most are friendly. Check it out!

Quite typical of chain Korean groceries store, but not as organized and corporate as Hmart. Products are placed very close together, and you cant help but feel a bit cramped in there. Otherwise, they have what you would expected to find in a Korean groceries store.

I bought a box of Blue-Jay orange and it was not authentic. It was mixed with various kinds. Bad business practice. Never go back there again. Also, Apple was mixed with old rottened ones too.

Very korean market. And that is a good thing. My one and only issue with this market is the way customers behave. Just like in korea they cut in lines, parks carts super close your hindquarters when in line for the register... to name a few.As for the market some items are a dollar or 2 cheaper than other Korean markets in greater los angeles area. The dishes made in the hot food department was surprisingly good. I had a kimbop (futomaki korean stlye) and it was delicious. They make it there (some other markets they get it elsewhere and sold)Overall i enjoy coming here even though it appears to be run down a bit. Expect some korean stlye rudeness from other shoppers.

Its a great place to shop for Asian or mostly Korean groceries. You can even accumulate points each time you shop. I will see how much I can use when that time comes. Basically the more you shop, the more you can earn or save for the future.

Never having been there before, and not speaking Korean, I found the staff warm and friendly. In comparison to H-Mart and Zion, each offers a slightly different feel to it and slightly different offerings and ambiance. This is good, because they are all very close together and it seems that this competition, makes for a much more robust offering of choices of authentic Korean food, at good prices.Surprisingly, while Super 1 Mart seems to lie in-between Zion on the more affordable traditional supermarket, and H-Mart on the higher end, I was surprised to see far less culinary ware, but much higher end rice cookers in the $300 to $600 range. But in other areas, it seemed more affordable.Pricing on food items Ive purchased at all three are hard to match, as the variation in the preparation, may account for cost differences, like for their seasoned seaweed, sea food soup mix, , etc.

Good fresh fish and produce selection, convenient parking but dont leave any valuables in view in your car. Someone broke my daughters car window and stole her purse/bag. Happened at night, fortunately she had valuables on her. Damages were a hassle though

Horrible parking, sometime customers taking 2 spots. Not necessarily the customers fault, but the spots are too small. I come here once a month for the bakery, and maybe some noodles. 5 stars for sure. And I cant fault it for being popular and packed with customers. Imagine black friday at walmart. :)

This place gets 5 🌟 because they They have all the vegetables one could ever want. This supermarket makes it very easy for me to eat and prepare a well balanced and diverse menu of meals. As a vegetarian/Pescatarian I recommend coming here you will not be disappointed. Just come with a open mind and don’t be afraid to be adventurous in trying anything.

I love going to this place for lunch, when you walk in there are little Korean food shops in the back left of the store. The black bean noodles are a childhood nostalgia for me. Its also easy on the wallet and thats always a plus.

Now spread its reputaions, no more Korean only, more mixed faces shoping & working , and you , just come down here and experience yourself , the Korean style friendliness , easy , quick, some goody , like charm of Samsung & BTS. You will get everything you need , if not , Beach blvd Highway take you within few min. to the place easily.

This is my top 2 korean market.As much as I like newness of Hmart, i cant support a chain that goes into a market, drops prices to kill competition then raise them above normal pricing once competition is gone. They also seem have Sales that u need to check dates on - Ive bought noodles and frozen foods with expiration dates within single digits.With that said, between California Market and Han Nam, they provide great variety of korean selection, fresh vegetables and fruit, and best off consistant overall low pricing.I just hope LA doesnt turn like many markets around the country where Hmart comes in and kills the local competition and leaves a monopoly of high prices.
