Drove to Bryan from The Woodlands to visit the store. Everyone was helpful and warm. There was also another family there from the same school/area shopping for another instrument. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I will be returning here for my next instrument purchase. Thank you String and Horn Shop!!

The people there are great and they sell Aggieland Coffee and if you havent already tried it you dont know what your missing. My favorite is Reveille. I drive all the way from Hempstead to get it. Its that good!

Susan, do not lie. I never berated you. I called to see how my childs violin could get fixed, your employee was rude and gave me no options. I asked to not be charged and was glad to return the violin. When I was charged, I waited a few days and contacted you today - February 19, 2021. While trying to explain myself, you stopped and confirmed who I was. Not ONCE, did you apologize. So do not lie and say that I berated you and act as if you were trying to apologize to me. Truth is, this could have all been resolved on last Thursday when I originally called in asking for help. I could care less about your 26 years experience, because in this one moment, you did not provide the customer service that my daughter and I deserve. I will stand by what I have said and I will let other people know.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. The LACK of customer service received from the employees and then the owner, Susan was horrible. We had been renting our daughters violin for almost two school years from this place. When a string was broken, I called for guidance. I received nothing except for an expectation that I drive an hour and a half to return the instrument and a half-hearted statement that they were not sure when they would come up to the school to pick up the instrument. I asked them not to charge me anymore, because my child would be returning the instrument to her orchestra class when school was back in session, and that we would go with a more local, reputable company. I was charged anyway. When I called back and spoke to the owner, she was rude and on the defense. I would never recommend this company to any parents and I will be contacting the school district as well. They should not allow companies that dont respect or value students and their families to offer a low quality product.

Dropped off a instrument for repair and got a spare. Also picked up a marching all weather instrument.

Great little shop serving both string and brass instrument players. We only needed some rosin, but the staff was happy to let my musician try out a few string instruments and browse the beautiful pieces on display. Clearly run by music lovers who know their stuff.

Neat music shop. Good prices, and they rotate their stock well. My child takes guitar lessons from Tubie at the string and horn shop so I have had the chance to check the shop out weekly. Staff is laid back and helpful, I have been particularly impressed with the guitar lessons and how quickly my child is progressing. Great attitude and enthusiasm all around.

Loved how the lady that worked with me was very attentive and helpful. This was my first time being in a shop like that and she made me feel comfortable and helped me with everything I needed. And the prices are really reasonable.

The three there could not have been more uninterested in helping shoppers or even selling anything.

The String and Horn Shop has been providing supply and repair service to my school in Austin TX for the past 6 years. I have been very pleased with the professionalism from the owners, salesmen, and repair department. They are very good about letting you know the status of an order, delivering materials and repaired instruments in a timely manner and their prices just cant be beat. Thank you all for providing such quality service to our community!

I would not recommend getting guitar work done here. In my opinion, I felt I had an absolutely terrible experience with a staff member. I am not happy about my instrument.

The String & Horn Shop is awesome. Knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating, the entire staff at the String & Horn Shop in Bryan, Texas are among the best in the business.

Place seems like a small mom and pop guitar shop. But the entire staffing is terrible. Just by there actions inside and outside the store. I watched them come outside and argue with people about parking spots and I also watched the owner of the black pick up truck park right on a handicapped access ramp. Those are the types of people who give other small buissness owners a bad rep. Just cause you own a buissness doesnt give you the right to run the street your building is on or think your the mayor of your block. It sad to see so many people in one business cause so many problems for there own store front.

Very helpful staff. My son started music this year. I know nothing about it. :) They helped get me very thing I need for my son.

Called to ask a question about an item I purchased that was to be delivered, yet never received. Manager just got done letting me know that she had a bad experience with the open house in which her store participated and where I subsequently bought the item. So, I recieved an incomplete purchase, my card was not charged until 2 wks later after I called to check what the hold up was. This is the 4th time Ive had to call them, all over one purchase in August. Completely appalled by her attitude, I will now be sure to let all band parents I talk to know about the way they handled my business. Keep the money, Ill call the BBB and go find the mouthpiece brush elsewhere.
