I can judge a quilt shop by how long my wife spends in them. She spent a loooong time, so it must be good😁. I did also go in and they had a ton of stuff and was much bigger on the inside than it looked. Staff was very friendly as well.

I had the most fabulous experience with Lone Star Quilt Works!!!!! I got my package of fabric in record time and it came displayed beautifully in the box all folded so all the fabrics showed. It was wrapped in plastic so there wouldn’t be any water damage I also like to mail that way. They also sent me a FREE gift ❣️ It was a whole kit for making a mug rug. They are fabulous and I will order over and over. I live in Colorado or I would be there on a weekly basis. I love them 😍 Great shop Miss Terry. 🧵‼️

My favorite quilt shop! They have an excellent selection of fabrics and notions. The staff is very helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I frequently order online and receive my orders in just a matter of a couple of days. I highly recommend Lone Star Quiltworks!

Ive been to the store a few times to just look, but my last visit was as a new quilter! As you can imagine just learning to quilt can be a daunting task. Everyone in the shop was so helpful! They helped me pick out material for a project and answered the dozens of questions I had with a smile. I also met the store owner while there and she is just amazing. While I dont live in Bryan, I will definitely be back!

Best experience I have ever had in a fabric store. I drove over an hour to find black fabric and elastic and they had plenty of both with no limits! The experience was the best ever, beat every craft and fabric store Ive been to! You MUST stop here and give the ladies a chance to show you how great it can be!

The owner, Terri, is incredibly rude. I have underlying medical conditions that make it virtually impossible for me to wear a mask at times. When I was visiting her store a few months ago, I was intercepted just inside the door and forced back outside by an employee with an outstretched arm moving toward me because I wasn’t wearing a mask. I asked to speak with Terri and when she came out, I explained my medical conditions and her response was “What? Am I supposed to tell everyone else in the shop that they have to wear a mask but you don’t?” She had a complete lack of compassion. Fast forward to today, and while in her shop (wearing a mask) I pointed out to her employees that a customer had pulled her mask down below her chin and that I had been run out of the store when I had attempted to shop there w/out a mask. They said that they knew and did nothing about it. QUITE a change from my experience. I called after I had left when I realized I was just getting angrier and angrier and asked to speak to Terri. Instead of a heartfelt apology for the difference in the way I was treated and the way this woman was being treated, her response was to argue with me and ask me in a harsh tone why I hadn’t gone to her and told her. Apparently, it is Terri’s belief that it is my job as a customer to come to her with any concerns. I guess her employees don’t actually represent her business and aren’t trained to tell her when a customer is unhappy. Terri’s reaction explains perfectly why her people reacted the way they did to an upset customer. If the owner of the shop doesn’t model how to treat customers, how will the employees know? Terri is in a very fortunate position to be the only quilt shop in BCS. But that won’t last forever. All it will take is a little competition to put her out of business. For me, I will move to 100% ordering online from quilt shops in other cities. I like to support small businesses, but I can’t support one run by someone who treats her customers badly.

I was visiting College Station for a couple of hours and stopped in at Lone Star. I explained I am a first time quilter, and they began helping me find the perfect back for my quilt top. I was very picky about what I wanted, and it was no big deal. I received one on one service. The very sweet lady showed me around the store, helped me locate quilt shops in my area, and invited to come back and take a class or two whenever Im in town. Its a must.. stop by and visit. Super friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice quilting supply shop. They have a multitude of bolts of quilting fabric of all sorts of patterns. Being close to Texas A&M university, they have a whole collection of fabrics for them. They have a good collection of seasonal fabrics.The have selection of quilting sewing machines, patterns, notions, and other quilting supplies. Add in a very helpful and friendly staff, and you have a great shop.

Every time I go to Lone Star Quiltworks I encounter the most helpful and encouraging staff. Each one of the ladies gives my queries thoughtful consideration, offers wonderful suggestions, and helps me to see my projects to completion. I have never once found anyone to be less than friendly. The classes that I have taken have all expanded my quilting horizon and given me confidence to try more techniques. I almost always find what I am looking for whether its a fat quarter or yardage, a pattern or a book, a notion or spools of thread. Lone Star Quiltworks is my go-to quilt shop!

Whenever I have a bit of extra money I love coming here. They have designs that are otherwise only available online, and you definitely get what you pay for in terms of quality! The ladies who work there are super nice & helpful. Love this place!!

I love this quilt shop! They have a huge selection of fabric - every time I go in I see new, awesome fabric that I recently spied on Instagram - like Lori Holt, Bonnie & Camille, and Elizabeth Hartman. There are fabrics for many tastes, so both traditional and more modern quilters will find the right fabric for a project. The staff is great! Its the only store I shop in where a few of the great ladies know my name. They have helped me find the perfect fabric for various projects, figured out quilt math for me, and asked about my kiddos. Just a great place!!

I was greeted by a wonderful and knowledgeable staff. I asked different staff members differ questions. Each person stopped what they were doing to help me. I was quite impressed and wont hesitate to drive the 80 miles to shop with this store again.

I have read many of the comments on this shops and dont understand some of them. I love the owner, shes very nice and very generous but she cant carry everything. No store can. And if you werent treated nice or fairly maybe the salesperson was having bad day. We all do sometimes. I try to give salespeoplethe benefit of the doubt and hope it wasnt my attitude that put them in a bad mood.

Found Lone Star Quiltworks when my son started at Texas A&M. Six years later, I still drive the 90 minutes to visit Terry and everyone at the shop. One of the best quilt shops in Texas! Their selection never disappoints and the staff is second to none!!

Always friendly, helpful staff. Wonderful selection of fabrics, notions, patterns, books and gifts. They offer a wide variety of classes and quilt groups which attract women from The Woodlands, Katy and other towns where this variety isnt offered. They also offer longarm quilting and longarm classes. We are very fortunate to have them here.

Lone Star- great little quilting store. PACKED to the gills with fabric, kits and fat quarters. Tad expensive, but I promise you cannot leave the store with something.
