My daughters 2003 Subaru Outback has been loosing coolant and I wasnt able to figure out where. I dropped it off at Bug Clinic assuming it needed new head gaskets, but after diagnosing, they determined it was the radiator. An easy and much cheaper fix than head gaskets. Every conversation I had with them about the issue inspired confidence. My daughter felt very comfortable dropping off and picking up her car. I wont hesitate to come back.

Old school shop with up to date knowledge. This is my go to for my 2008 Jetta. The estimates are at a high level and so far I have been charged a lower rate than quoted. Better to start high than find out it cost more than the lower quote quoted to you. I am not paying for a 10 crew mechanic team and all the bells and whistles as some places in College Station tend to do. I paying for one man to do the work on time with no hidden costs. My inspection sticker was out on my Jetta and the mechanic took the Jetta to have it inspected. How many mechanics do you know would do this for you?Love this place. Too bad they dont work on domestics but then again it wouldnt be called the bug clinic.

They are really good. My first experience with them are the engine oil leak. After they fixed it, everything runs good. The second experience is the timing belt change. I decide to let them do the timing belt change and they also changed water pump and other necessities. And they also worked on the check engine light. That check engine light has been there 4 years because everything drives fine, so I didnt fix it. This time they find the problem and fixed it! Now I am so happy and comfortable to drive my car.

There is no question that Bill and Ceci run the best VW shop in the region. They are honest and excel at their repair work. Weve used them for our 2005 Passat TDI for years.

Bug clinic is great. They are doing business honestly. They fixed the oil leak of my car, changed the timing belt and the breaks. They charged reasonably (far less than a chained shop) and the quality of work is great. Highly recommended.

I moved to Bryan a year ago and this is the only place that could work on my BMW honestly without excuses and inflated prices. They are honest. They will even show you the price of the part, the old part they took out and tell you about other issues your car may have. Mr. Bill and his wife has helped me out more than once. Thank you and continued success with the business.

I brought in my 2005 Toyota Tacoma for brake work. It has 78,000 miles and was beginning to squeal at low-speed braking, usually indicative that the brake linings were thin enough that they should be replaced. The technician looked at the brake linings and saw they were in good shape and did not need replacement yet, but they had a large build-up of brake dust. He cleaned them up and put an anti-static spray on the brakes to lessen the amount of dust build-up in the future. Its nice that a local shop would do small maintenance for a fraction of a complete brake job. I would go back to The Bug Clinic when I have problems with my truck in the future, and Id recommend them to others, just as The Bug Clinic was recommended to me.The lady at the front desk was very nice and kept me informed of the status of my truck, too. The shop itself may look run-down but looks can be deceiving. Any good neighborhood auto shop will look the same way. It immediately reminded me of my good old auto shop in South Austin.

My son is using one of our older cars while at school (91 BMW). He lost a couple of belts. Bill looked at the car on a monday and it was ready the next day at noon, price on parts and labor was good. We appreciated there help and plan to use them in the future.Dan..................................................................................................................I cant leave two reviews so im adding our second experience with Bill.............@ @ @ @ @ five stars............My son, Trent called with a front end problem, there was a clunking when turning the steering wheel, We decided to have it towed. Bill got the car around 1:00 friday afternoon. shortly after that he called to say the steering ball joint on the left side had failed and he could get the part in and make the repair before 5:00. Bill has easily handled our emergency repairs. I think ill schedule our next oil change and have Bill inspect the engine and brakes, Dan
