My wife and I stopped in to browse as we are furnishing a recently bought home in Falmouth. I was surprised to find some truly artistic pieces and some interesting furniture made by the Amish. I loved the bentwood occasional/coffee tables and we needed a platform bed. We decided on a bed made by Yoders Woodworking. We came back the next day and Chloe helped us. She was fun to talk to and very energetic. Skipper the family dog was there and that was a nice touch to make a friend with 4 legs.I think the prices were good. I used to live in Pennsylvania and Amish furniture is no nonsense, well made stuff. I met Marcus a couple times and he helped us too. I looked over the website to see the history of how this business was started by Cathy and this is a real Maine family business. I like that! They have many awards, great history, a post office and free parking. Ill be back. Thank You.

This place is a little high end for me as the prices are high. The staff was extremely friendly though and if you can afford this kind of furniture I would definitely recommend it

I cannot express strongly enough how horrified and disappointed I am by the greed and insensitivity displayed by Sweet Dreams and owner, Marcus Headley during my transaction with them this summer.My family was in a tight bind this summer as the patriarch of my family passed leaving my 80 year old mother alone for the first time in 50 years. Because we were having a memorial service at our home we needed to remove my fathers bedroom set and replace it so family would have a guest room made up that didnt remind everybody of how sick my father had been. My mother sent my husband and myself to Sweet Dreams to procure a new mattress and we were talked into buying one that was more than my mother wanted to spend but, was manufactured in New England and therefore we were GUARANTEED delivery in time for our services. My mother is on limited income so this was a BIG expenditure for her. Not only did the mattress not arrive in the guaranteed time frame but, we were told that even if it did, Sweet Dreams would not be able to deliver it because they would be too busy and couldnt be bothered to do a weekend delivery. We had no choice but to go purchase a mattress elsewhere to accommodate my fathers family. We went ahead and cancelled our purchase with Sweet Dreams and hurriedly set up a new guest room with hours to spare.Long story short, Mr. Headley refused to cancel the order and kept the deposit of $750.00 citing the order as a special order which wasnt something I was aware of and i believe to be an excuse to take money from a widow who isnt able to retaliate. We simply went into a business and ordered a piece of furniture that was being sold and it couldnt be delivered after we were GUARANTEED that it would be, especially after hearing the reason why we needed it. My father was a policeman and an educator and didnt make a lot of money so my mom being out $750.00 with nothing to show for it as well as the price of another bed is simply heartbreaking for her as we try to figure out how to keep her financially viable as she grieves. At the least we should have been given a credit towards something else in the store that she might like to have in her home. Repugnant and predatory behavior.

Were in love with our new dining set. The team was so great in helping us customize and select the right style, wood and color. They were so patient and helpful to us in our selection process. I cant say enough good things about their vast options, the quality, and their superb customer service. We had a small amount of damage on one of the table legs and they were so helpful and worked with us to replace the leg at no cost! Its so refreshing to work with actual human beings! We would highly recommend.

I went there looking for a sofa. There is a huge selection and the saleswoman spent about 45 minutes with me and my 2 year old daughter. She was so patient and hugely helpful. Love that this is a family owned business.

Our first visit which resulted in a purchase of a beautiful reclining love seat. We were impressed with Marcus and his knowledge of various types of chairs. AND we are loving our purchase! For years we have been looking for a bookcase to compliment a teak bookcase we have. Again Marcus to the rescue and suggested a custom bookcase! Since we moved to Maine 8 years ago, we have bought numerous pieces from Sweet Dreams. We have found their prices to be VERY competitive- even a good bit less than comparable stores. The folks who work there are very knowledgeable and they actually let you shop without following you around and pressuring you to buy. If you need assistance, they are right there to help. Their selection is excellent and the quality of their merchandise is above average. The delivery guys are very courteous and helpful. We highly recommend this store if you need furniture or bedding.

Sweet Dreams is a wonderful local home furnishings option!! I purchased a slipcover loveseat and chairs many years ago and they’re still in great shape!! I recently decided to update my look (since there was no need to buy new) and they were happy to look up my original purchase and answer questions.

I am extremely disappointed in the lack of professional customer service at Sweet Dreams! I ordered replacement couch covers and cushions in early May. The covers came but the cushions didnt come until last week (AUGUST)! The staff at Sweet Dreams gave me the run around about the arrival date of the cushions, wouldnt return my phone calls and really didnt care! I had to call repeatedly and make several visits to the store. When I did go, the owners wouldnt look me in the eye or give me a staight answer! I was promised many times that my order would be on the next truck. One owner said she would make it her top priority to locate my order and get right back to me! She never did...I had to call!! When the cushions finally came (almost 4 months later), NO ONE at Sweet Dreams offered me any sort of apology!! Not ever in the 4 months of this ordeal did anyone apologize or offer any explanation why my order was so delayed!! The lack of common decency and professional customer service at Sweet Dreams is appalling! I will never shop there again!! And, I would advise potential shoppers to go elsewhere!! Sweet Dreams is not worth it!!!

Had a problem with the stitching on a leather sofa I purchased two years ago at Sweet Dreams. Went back and spoke with the owner Marcus and he got a qualified repair person to come to my house and professionally repaired the splitting seam. I can recommend Sweet Dreams as a company that stands behind what they sell.

Disappointing, at best.We placed a substantial furniture order in June, 2015 and didnt receive items until February, 2016. We had to continually press them for answers, and they shifted blame and never took responsibility. While the couch was in their possession for several months, they never looked at what was delivered to them to see if it was correct. As it turns out, two of the pillows came without covers and now the fabric is discontinued. In addition, the doors on one of the tables we ordered were done incorrectly. We havent heard from them since February, 2016 and it is now late September. I simply cannot recommend this place to anybody, regardless of the quality of the furniture they sell. They simply do not pay attention to detail, and once you walk out the door youre on your own.

We are very disappointed in the lack of follow through on their promises.They are vey accommodating until they make the sale, but then they dont respond to e-mails or phone calls if you have a problem. This is not only arrogant, but sleazy too. We will never buy from them again.

Lack luster experience. Felt like I needed to strap a few hundred dollars to my head so they knew I was serious. My mom was looking for some outdoor furniture and I thought, what the heck, Ill try again. To cut the chase - I will not go back. Nor will I recommend them.
