Great spot for locals and travelers. They have all the classic options plus unique choices as well. They have a classic diner vibe. Covid clearly had a heavy impact on them, but they continue to put out great service and food. We have never been disappointed. Very reasonable prices. Well worth a trip to experience, and well worth local loyalty!

I was disappointed, to say the least. The best thing was the Onion Rings. We ordered 6 Lobster Rolls, Hot with Butter. After 30 mins, 6 Lobster Rolls were served...cold & no butter. We brought it to their attention, their response, Oh. Well, thats how [the kitchen] wanted to prepare it.

As a frequent traveler to Maine, we are always looking for great places for breakfast. We love this place. I had lox bagels & hubby big breakfast. His was large & delicious. My lox was excellent. Wait staff was exceptional. And you should really try the mimosas. They serve the prosecco in small bottles with orange juice on side. You get two mimosas from one bottle for $10. Great deal. If something isnt right, they make it right. For the real diner experience, sit inside.

An amazing experience, very popular, 100% worth a wait if coming during peak hours. Wife had the crab Benedict and was killer, the home fries are seasoned amazingly. Cinnamon pancakes are mouth watering and the sausage is worth ordering an extra side. French toast is a real crowd pleaser, would consider getting the stuffed. Mimosas are great, and get better the more you have. Friendly staff, amazing cook.

Traveling from Bay City, Michigan, the food was between excellence-to-perfection Cinnamon swirl pancakes with real maple syrup and double smoked bacon. We enjoyed the 50s style juke boxes that are in each booth(bring quarters!) The staff was very inviting and they made sure that we enjoyed our visit. Wish we lived closer so we could try all the menu.

Stopped here a couple times while working events at Thomas Point and their breakfast is amazing! Served til 3pm. They even have sensational fresh baked gluten free bread! Little bit of a wait at times but worth it. They are currently only taking orders at a booth outside, you pay then sit and wait for your food inside (with ac and an awesome retro vibe) or outside on their patio! Good value too!

We probably wont be back. The food was okay, and took almost an hour to get. The kid taking orders had us wait like 10 minutes while he lined baskets with paper (while we had to stand there and watch him). They allow pets, and there were dogs barking at each other while we ate. Not a very relaxing breakfast experience at all. The people that worked there were very sweet, though, and the prices are reasonable.

One of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve ever had. Why would you have people pay before they eat? It’s a restaurant. It took us an extra fifteen minutes to order before we even sat down because the girl at the register felt it was more important to fetch us coffee and line paper baskets with utensils and napkins as opposed to taking our order. Beyond bizarre. Would suggest you get management in there that has actually run a restaurant before. The cherry on top is the fact that they have the audacity to blame it on being short staffed. There was plenty of help milling around while we were there. The issue is incompetence. Confusing system, uncaring staff, average food.

Don’t go here! After reading reviews we thought this would be the perfect place for breakfast. Wrong! We watched order after order for people who came in after us go out. Yet we still waited. My scrambled egg was barely cooked - inedible. One order came out wrong and had to be sent back. The wait staff never checked on us - we had to ask if we wanted something. This was sad.

Opened in 1949, my first time eating there was 1965, and with this visit in 2021, I found no change, other than what or how the Coronavirus effected it, in the diner. The service, and the food... par excellence!! We dined in although there was outside eating available. Inside the diner, it looked as it did in 1965, including jukeboxes at the tables (one quarter buys one song... 1965 one quarter bought 5 songs 😒). The diner did have a face-lift with the addition of beautiful flowers. I highly recommend the Brunswick Diner if you want to walk backwards in time wherethe food is good, the staff very friendly, and everybody knows your name! So, OK, I just remembered a small complaint... I asked for water and got a glass of room temperature water... what?? They brought me a glass of ice, with a smile, after I asked for ice.

Im a local and have driven by a thousand times. Its very unassuming from the road. Today I stopped. Staff is super pleasant. I had breakfast. Although they serve anything on the menu anytime of day. My food was cooked perfectly. They have hashbrowns. Here in Maine most places that serve breakfast dont have hashbrowns, the shredded potatoes kind, they usually only have home fries. They bake homemade bread for your toast or sandwiches. Prices were so reasonable. Snd they have a working Wurlitzer, and at each booth. Very cool. I will definitely be back!

My Mom and I stopped by to grab a few Lobster Rolls to go. Very few places selling Lobster Rolls in Maine get it right these days. Miss Brunswick Diner has been doing it right for years. The mandatory basic three of a great lobster roll are : fresh picked lobster, lots of it, and a toasted roll.Check!Jane, the owner for 21 years, stands by her bold “(Possibly) The Best Lobster Roll in Maine” Advertising sign out front. We agree. Plus, she includes hot crinkle cut fries and home made Cole slaw. All for $20. Can’t beat that.Didn’t stay for the great atmosphere, but could almost hear my Grandfather and his buddies talking & laughing at the vintage counter stools from way back in the 1950s.You need to go.

Wow this was an almost complete disappointment. They only had 1 waitress for the morning breakfast crowd. The coffee tasted like warm water put thru a used coffee filter. The milk was not cold, Tomato juice had gone by. French toast was bland, no cinnamon, and a small portion of maple syrup, not enough to cover everything. Wheat toast was okay with the edges burnt black just like the lady near us whose english muffin was burnt black all over. Home fries seem as though they were bought in the supermarket. The only thing right was the Bacon and Eggs. A waste of $30+ for 2 people. Wont be back again.

Best of all was the service -- fast, very friendly and personable. Our server gave us recommendations for places to check out in Brunswick, too, as we had time to explore the town for a little bit. We sat outside and did not go inside at all, so I cant comment on the interior. We loved the place and recommend it to anyone in or near Brunswick. We looked around decide to try the Fairground Cafe. Not only is the food just as good if not better there is ample seating for everyone. We didnt even have to wait. So save yourself the aggravation of horribly limited seating and go straight to Fairground Cafe. We are done with the Brunswick dinner! Also Fairground Cafe takes all forms of payment. Brunswick dinner is cash only. They have an atm with a $3.50 charge which I can only assume the Brunswick dinner gets some kick back from. It’s small so if you don’t, you may not get a seat on the weekend. The waitresses have been here for a long time, work hard, and are so nice. The portions are large and the food is consistently good. There are regulars here and they talk loud, but their conversations are interesting
