This HEB has the BEST Selection in Brownsville. But the lines take a super long time to get through. I’m not sure if it’s because more people come here or if the workers are slower (maybe understaffed?). Every time I come I get my frozen stuff last and use a heat proof bag because otherwise everything always melts by the time I’m out. Be warned!

Well they know the rush hour only few cashier. Then I went to the seft check out but they refuse let me check out because they said only 10 items or less but you have have 15 items then cant let you do check out but I see all of the matching is empty no customers. I really dont think that is so fair.

This is one of the grocery shopping places, we usually shop once a week here for seafood and variety of fresh vegetables for more (better quality organic product) even it is far from my house. Today we also went to the car wash for my son’s car: $9.99, $11.99 and $13.99 on your options.

No mayo packets for deli sandwiches. Dining area only has 3 tables and HEB employees use them as if they dont have a break room. Its hard to be intelligent and this HEB fails.

Good place to shop. Lately, shortages are apparent. Only complaint, a bit more than some, rude and selfish customers that think they are the only ones at the store.

I’ve never had a issue up until today, the lady who took our service was so RUDE!!!! She had an attitude since we were in line. The lady’s name is Mary and was throwing the items in the bags. We were in the 15 or less lane and we had a little bit over the 15 limit. It’s never been a problem up until today! And she had an over all attitude towards the other customers ahead and in the back of us! They should correct her behavior towards customer

Probably the worst HEB plus in Texas. Terrible selection, long lines, nightmare trying to find parking. All the good reviews must be from people who have never been to the HEBs in SA, Corpus, or Houston.

I have the most little respect for the so call manager “Paul” I simply told him I had 1 Complaint, and he quickly wanted to have me call tomorrow or talk to someone else instead of helping the customer. I guess that’s how HEB is treating customer nowadays

Well just to let heb and the people know how manager oralia treats its customers my wife just had incident in which this manager was being rude in the way she was responding with an attitude. This issue was brought up to the store manager which i think his name is homero he was polite and understood what my wife complain about. So this manager oralia either needs to be demoted or needs to get more training on people skills. I will making a complain to heb corporate offices because this is not acceptable from this manager oralia that clearly lacks leadership qualities!poor service

They are doing their best to save our community and I dont think the community cares as much as they say of fb or Twitter. these people, now essential workers deserve the best raises. plus the price food has increased dramatically. inflation is real. during my visit, eggs were limited and their meats section is still half empty. but the people, they deserve better from their company and community. there is no amount of thanks or appreciation that can be paid for their diligence and effort. but something would be nice. keep keeping Texas alive, brothers and sisters!

I came, I saw, I used the bathroom, lol. There’s a backstory, so here goes … . This HEB has a Tesla Supercharger so that is why we stopped. But I had to go. Like, I had to GO, right? As I’m walking waaay over there to the HEB, I notice the HEB is having some kind of serious work done by contractors, and - thank you baby Jesus!, - there’s a port-o-potty! Fantastic! And the chain fence is open! Lucky boy, luuucky boy. So all came out well. Best port-o-potty I ever used! Convenient, too! So this particular HEB gets 5 fricking stars, okay? Even if I never set foot inside, lol.

Great selection but the managers need training. I have witnessed several incidents that are handled poorly by this group of men. The way they speak to customers is an embarrassment. Youre grown adults in your 40s, 50s, 60s and you use the same language and emotional intelligence of a rude teenager. Your store needs more female managers like your location in Harlingen. They are always helping their customers while you boys stand there doing nothing. Sadly, the few times you assist anyone you look frustrated and belittle your customers. Shame on you boys. There is one manager who stands out for his lack of people skills at this Paredes location. Hes the one who yells at the customers. I am not joking here, the individual needs anger management before it ruins his career. I hope he gets professional help.

What can I say its the only HEB plus in Brownsville and its right smack in the business part of Brownsville... Expect lots of people at normal hrs.

The best place for fresh fruits and veggies as well as good meats! Only downside is that it is always bz n theres always lots of traffic nearby even b4 the construction started.

I like this HEB because they have good gas prices, new car wash. Air hose and telephone available. The parking lot is ok this is high traffic area but its very well set with plenty of entrances and exits.

Ive recently moved into this area but this HEB is absolutely amazing. Their produce always looks fresh and clean compared to some of the ones in Houston where I am from.. The areas are always kept on point and most of the cashiers are so kind. The cashier who helped my sister and I today disinfected the entire area for us since she noticed the customer ahead of us was coughing all over the place. She apologized for keeping us waiting but wanted to keep us and her safe, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely keep coming to this HEB.

Ive been to this HEB many times and its always really CLEAN. I had a question about some lobster tails I had purchased previously that had a weird color on their meat and thr manager Mr. Rick Vasquez? If im correct dealt with me professionally by giving me the reason and information by the color of thr meat and even reimbursed me for the previous lobsters by giving me a replacement. Amazing customer service!

First time using curb side and will definitely be using their services again. Sarah was really nice and explained to me in detail what was substituted and was given the option to cancel any items as I saw fit (but didnt have too).

Honestly, I loved HEB until todays experience. I spoke with a curbside manager named Joey, who kept raising his voice at me until he was almost screaming. I asked for corporate number and he told me to look it up myself. I asked for his employee ID and he said he didnt have to give me his personal information. Since when is an employee ID personal, isnt its purpose to identify an employee. Its not a social or date of birth. After asking several times and him raising his voice more and more while denying he was doing so, he said, looks like I cant help you and disconnected the call. Just wow.

Not enough product on the shelves. I have never seen any heb in this condition. I know with the pandemic, and now the cold weather in Texas, they actually have no-control over this but please , people are hoarding again!!!that needs to stop!!heb should put a limit on eggs, beef, chicken pork, actually the only fresh meat I did find was pork!?? What’s up with that?? This is crazy!! And to make matters worse, Walmart is just as bad!!!End of RANT for right now!!!

Love the fresh vegetables and meat. Always great customer service. BUT it’s always so BUSY. I Can’t even walk down the aisle without somebody bumping into you. You can’t even shop and look through selection because somebody behind just pushing you to go. I have tried going in the morning I have Tri going to afternoon evening as well and it’s always really busy. I would never go on a weekend are usually go Monday through Friday. I will be trying curb pick up my next order. It would be nice to have a MOTHERS and HANDICAP checkout lane. There are so many 15 items or less . We waited 35 minutes in line to check out. That’s just CRAZY .

Gucci-B is the paragon of all other H-E-Bs in the city. You can meet your old highschool/college professors, friends, family and maybe even an ex while getting great groceries at a low price. Lots of traffic inside though. Might need some lights at the intersections of the aisles.

Even though they are taking precautions, i suggest people wear gloves and possibly sanitize your stuff when you get home. The employees are following rules, yet at the check out counter they are bare handed and are grabbing items from another customers pile and then touching your stuff with out sanitizing once they are done. This includes the bagging attendees. So I honestly advise keep gloves on or sanitize when you get home. The store is way to packed even at the lines and not everyone is wearing masks. Do be careful.

We are from Louisiana. We were surprised when we found several items that we could not find at Walmart. Especially seafood items.

Let me just start off by saying that my shopping experience at HEB is usually fantastic and the customer service is usually excellent. With that being said, I am deeply disappointed by the attitude of one of the store clerks/cashiers in this location. I would highly advise that the store manager addressed this with their employees. I understand that this epidemic has brought on a lot of stress, but its important to be compassionate and understanding of one another.
