Pretty good Colombian food, wish they had the whole full menu of their food. Coming from New York, I miss the diverse culture we have. I’m glad I found this and hope RGV brings more different types of food from other countries like Dominican & Puerto Rican, halal guys, Honduran, Salvadorian ect.

My group tried a hot coffee, latte, and frappe. All good tasting, only thing is space is small to have a sit down with someone.

This is my boyfriend and Is favorite coffee ever. Its a bit far for us so were not able to go as often, but when were around the area we stop by. Our favorites are the iced vanilla and mocha lattes with soy milk. The food is great too!

Everyone is always so so sweet. I have become a regular here. They’re always super sweet to my dog baby as well. They give them pupcups 🐾❤️☕️

I have only been here once and from what I experienced, I will definitely be going again. The drink and the dessert I got was amazing and so was the service. The staff was very nice, caring, and respectful. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends.

It was my 1st time going and I literally payed way more than I pay at Starbucks 3 small iced coffees 2 empanadas and 3 pan de bonos over 30 dollars 😲.I used to live in Florida and the prices at the Colombian restaurants are not as expensive like here, in Tampa a pan de Bono is .95 cents and way bigger. I will be sticking to my coffe place. The empanadas are good the pan de bono is good too but they are the size on an oreo for 2.95 thats just way to pricey.

A good place for Colombian food. The coffee was delicious. There is very limited seating. But while we were there they did a brisk drive up business.

I got a salpicon and two pandebonos! it was very delicious. the service was excellent and so kind. :) ill definitely be coming here more often. the environment is so homey.

I go for expresso and its excellent. Not much room to hang out and dont try to take a larger vehicle in drive thru. Im always treated good tgere.

Coffee is so good that i drive 45 min just to get my cup of vanilla latte.. No waiting in drive through crazy lines like at Starbucks for a cup of coffee...

Wow, the food at Café Canasto is incredible!And the drinks are good too! I personally love the Canasto, the Manizales, and the Pereira from the food menu and the Colombian lemonade (a kind of Arnold Palmer), the Canasto Apple latte, and the mocha latte from the drinks. Definitely support this local business!

It was ok. Caramel frappe had a very strong coffee flavor... their menu needs to have a description added, since alot of the items are not known to most people.. the young lady at the drive thru window was clearly annoyed at my asking many questions, but it was my first time there and i had doubts as to what each item contained.. the menu states a name of a drink but no description or ingredients.- only on a few.

Love!!! Haha no but for real! Tons of variety to choose from not just your typical iced coffee & the Colombian food is also a HUGE plus. We love the canastos & empanadas!! 🤩 Kids love the bon bons and salpicon with ice cream. Want to try something out of the ordinary I would recommend the strawberry iced coffee with ice cream. Definitely a place to try in Brownsville! They also have drive thru for families who just want to grab some food and coffee without unloading the kiddos! 😉

There used to be friendlier girls working here, but there’s a new young guy with braces working he was not good at taking orders. I asked him for just 2 vegan empanadas, I get home and bit into CHICKEN. I don’t eat meat! Sadly, it was too late to head back so I didn’t get my moneys worth. Management pay attention to that new hire, thanks.Antes había unas chicas trabajando aquí que eran muy buenas para tomar órdenes, pero hay un muchachito nuevo con brackets que parece que no le gusta su trabajo porque ni me puso atención a lo que le pedí . Le pedí solo 2 empanadas veganas, llegué a casa y eran de POLLO. ¡No como carne! Lamentablemente, ya era demasiado tarde y ya no tenía tiempo de regresar al café, nadamas gaste mi tiempo y dinero. 📌 Gerente póngale atención a este nuevo porque como que no hace bien su trabajo, gracias.
