I dropped by here yesterday to look for a new mask since I was in the area. The staff was really helpful and the store was very clean and organized. I did a drysuit specialty course about 3 years ago with them and that was awesome as well. Knowledgeable instructors and nice rental gear. Would definitely recommend Flatirons Scuba to anyone already into scuba or anyone looking to get into it.

Great place to get certified via their PADI Open Water Diver Course. Everyone weve worked with has been great from Sam, our instructor, and his assistants, Mark and Carrie, who were very knowledgeable and patient as we needed some extra attention, to Greg and Rowan at the shop. We did our preliminary classes at home/online and finished with our classroom tests and confined water (pool) training and tests. Next up is our open water dives to finish our certification.

We went to Flatirons Scuba to get our dry suit certification. Mark & the rest of the staff were great! They helped us out tremendously by working around our busy schedules!! We will go back for any future certifications!

They really take care of you! We just had our four kids certified. The whole staff, especially Nick, was so accommodating and incredible. Nick even worked privately with one kid that had equalizing issues. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and fabulous. Highly recommend!

Barbie was informative,. friendly and excited for me.I worked with Greg who is one of the owners and he was willing to work with me to get this certification done in a timely and efficient manner while being friendly and very helpful throughout the process.Finally, Mark my instructor who I spent quite a bit of time with. This guy was AWESOME. He was very knowledgeable about everything scuba, he ran an interesting and informative class room, he taught me the skills required to be successful in my dive in Iceland and I would 100% take future classes/trips with him.Thank you to everyone who helped make this an extremely positive experience.

My husband and I went to Flatirons Scuba for the dry suit course and they were very helpful in setting up a private lesson for us on fairly short notice. Our instructor Mark really made the weekend fun and enjoyable. Mark is an outstanding instructor and adapts well to each person’s skill level and comfort. We live in South Denver and it is more than worth the drive to see Mark for any of your scuba needs. Highly recommend this shop compared to others we have dealt with in the Denver area.

I have used Flatirons Scuba to get all my diving certifications except for my original open water. Through the years the staff has always been knowledgeable, friendly, engaged and incredibly helpful. I trust them so much that I am currently taking my ten year old son there to get his open water certification.

I came in today with my girlfriend with a thousand questions about the classes and equipment. The shop owner was unbelievably knowledgeable and patient with us....extremely helpful and polite...you can really tell he loves where he is at!!! Will be signing up for classes soon!!!

I started off at another scuba place. They went through things too fast and I ended up quitting thinking, Im never going to get my certification. I signed up with Flatirons scuba and took classes from Jay Brewer. He is an amazing instructor. He is patient and wants to make sure you are comfortable in the skill before he moves on to the next thing. He is very positive and explains things clearly. Im so glad I gave it another try and feel good about going to finish my open water dives. The last lesson in the pool I got to meet some really nice girls that were training to be instructors. They were very positive and helpful to a newbie like myself. B in the dive shop is also super sweet and very helpful. She helped me figure out what snorkel, fins, and mask etc. would work best. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff that provide a great experience all around. I completed step 1 of the open water diver certification with Scott as my instructor and Mike as an assistant instructor and both of these guys were amazing to learn from. They were patient and most importantly, super encouraging. Not to mention just really good people. Highly suggest Flatirons Scuba.

I have received 2 certifications from Flatirons Scuba now (Enriched Air & Rescue Diver). Jay Brewer has instructed us in both and he is an incredible instructor. After meeting Jay in our Enriched Air Class, we knew he was the right person to do our Rescue Diver Training which is a serious course where your instructor really matters. Scuba Jay has done a wonderful job with our training and I highly recommend him and Flatirons Scuba. It is also nice to have certifications from a 5 Star PADI shop. Thank you Flatirons and Jay!

I took my Rescue Diver course with Flat Irons, and was very impressed with both the quality of the shop staff and the PADI instructor who taught the class, Scuba Jay. Jay was wonderful both in the classroom as well as during our confined dives. He is knowledgeable, has an incredible amount of experience diving and also made our classes fun while conveying rather serious topics. I would highly recommend the shop and Jay to anyone looking to get any certifications.

So impressed with this scuba shops way of doing business. I prefer them over my local options even though I live in Parker. Trainers are first class, they got two of us through a drysuit speciality the same weekend we called them.

Went in to rent a wetsuit for an open swim and the customer service was impecable. They answered all my questions, got me the right size, and were just so friendly! And, it was all at a fabulous price. I will definitely be returning.

Ive been diving for about 25 years, of those, about 15 with this shop and staff. I wouldnt keep coming back if they werent the best. They have excellent instructors if your interested in either getting your Open Water Certification or furthering your education beyond it. I highly recommend taking their Advanced and Rescue courses. Ive really benefited from the training when Ive been on scuba trips outside of the US with divers Im not familiar with. Ive actually had to use the training to assist other divers in distress. It felt good to know that I could help out and keep a bad situation form going critical. I always buy my gear here because they take the time to educate me on what it is Im buying and how to best match equipment up with my skill and desired diving practices. I like the face to face interaction with folks that really know their business. I know it sounds like Im an employee, but Im really not, just a loyal customer wanting to share my exuberance. This is the best dive shop on the front range. The customer service is outstanding, I have had the honor of working with everyone from the owners to the ladies that greet you when you enter the store. AAA+ Company! Very professional and friendly staff. We were planning a dive trip and a friend of mine needed a new mask at 4:30pm on Sunday afternoon (I know bad planning on our part). I took a shot and called, and Greg generously offed to stay open until we got there (even though closing was at 5pm). To top it all off, the price of the mask was the same as what it would have cost on Amazon! Very glad I found this shop!

This place is amazing! I found them about 3 years ago. I certitifed here and have done several dive trips with Greg and Rob. These guys know how to run a great business! Their customers are like family and they care about their staff. Nothing but good things to say about them. They have invested time, a lot of effort, and money in their business and it shows. My husband and I took the PADI open water certification course here with Craig and couldnt be happier with the 2 days of learning that we had. We feel prepared and so excited to practice the skills that we learned. Craig is one of the best instructors that you will find and not just because he has a lot of experience. He took the time to make sure we learned and could demonstrate the skills safely and efficiently. Confidence level is high, now we are ready for the real thing!

Just finished the PADI Openwater Scuba Certification Written and Pool sections with my 14 year daughter. Really well done, and I highly recommending using Flatirons. Instructor was really effective and entertaining, pool work was well structured and built up skills really well even if your not super confident in the water.

Staff is always friendly and helpful. Plus the prices are on par with the big online shops, especially when they have sales.

I originally only bought my mask and fins here, but the everyone at the shop was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable that I ended up buying all my new gear here (suit, 1st/2nd stage, BC, etc...). They never tried to up sell anything and told me about their experiences with anything they had used. I also took 5 classes with them, they are more than willing to accommodate schedules and base the class speed on the class, not just timelines (Mark is an awesome instructor). This has is a great LDS (local dive shop) for newbies and those that have been diving for a long time.

These guys are fantastic. Went through open water course with them in order to prepare for a visit to the Carribean. On a tight timeline, with two weeks before our trip, they contacted me saying that I was the only person whe had signed up for the Blue Hole Open Water dives. I explained my predicament, and Greg Eddy stepped up and drove down to complete my dives anyways! We had a great trip in Tortola, St Thomas and Nassau, and we have already booked another diving trip in April! I was perfectly prepared, even more so than most of the others on the boat, to dive wrecks and reefs! Highly recommended and convenient dive shop/ PADI course provider. Looking forward to a liveabaord through them at some point in the future!
