We came here looking for an engagement ring and we received the best customer experience ever, the person who helped us was the stores manager and she made our experience go very easy and simply amazing! From the moment we walked in her main focus was us and our criteria of what we wanted the ring to be like. She met our needs outstandingly and we couldnt be more happier.Very happy to have considered this store as our first option. Outstanding customer experience.

Me and my fiancΓ© went to this store after having a bad experience at another jewelry store in search of an engagement ring. Without mentioning our experience prior to this store, The customer service here was amazing from the start and our needs were met. They helped us find the right ring and she is in love with it! Great place all around!

I purchase a mothers ring for my grandmother with all the birthstones of the family for her birthday. I wanted it to be a surprise, so I guessed her ring size since I did not know what it was. I ordered it online in store and the associate told me it could easily be resized. When I got the ring, it was the wrong size, so I went in store and said I need it to be resized. She told me the cost would be more than what I purchased the ring for. When I told her I did not want to do that because it was more than the entire ring cost, all of sudden she said she could do it for half then what she just previously said. That made me feel as if I was being taken advantage of. I said ok to the resizing as it was already late for her birthday and I didnt want it to take any longer. The next day, I called the Kay in Thornton and she quoted me 19.99 to resize the ring. It was a bad experience overall. I probably could have had it resized at a jeweler for way cheaper. I will never be a customer at Kay again. Look elsewhere!

Dennis and Kevin are awesome! I went in and got exactly what I was looking for when looking for wedding rings for me and my beautiful soon to be wife. These guys went above and beyond with helping me choose the perfect rings and the customer service was beyond amazing. I highly recommend everyone to go take a look at the beautiful jewelry in the store and to ask for these men to help you out! You won’t doubt it! Summary: If youre looking for good management/customer service, go elsewhere.My initial buying experience was pleasant. The gentleman that helped me was from Wyoming and extremely polite and helpful.On a return visit to have the item re-sized I asked about purchasing another item, but a new salesclerk said that it was cheaper on Kays website. He proceeded to tell me that the diamonds on the website are of cheaper quality than in the store. After haggling for a while, I decided the $10 savings wasnt worth waiting so I purchased it anyways. I also turned in a ring to be re-sized.Upon picking up the ring, the same unprofessional sales clerk along with a new cohort belittled me for not knowing their pickup policy. They made numerous sarcastic remarks before I left.Had the items I purchased been available anywhere else, I would have returned them immediately. But considering these were the items my companion wanted, I kept them.However, I will never spend another penny at Kays.

Was dumb enough to purchase a watch worth $80 brand new on eBay for $250. That’s on me but I wouldn’t recommend anyone purchasing watch from this store. He said it’s originally $350 and gave a $250 deal but in reality, the final price is just the msrp. Probably was happy to catch a dummy like me. Now I learned, never buy a watch from a jewelry store.

My husband and I have purchased many pieces of jewelry from Kays over the years. We have always had great customer service. We also always make sure to purchase the warranty for our jewelry and this has benefited us because I ended up losing the center stone of my wedding ring a while back and because we kept up with the inspections it was replaced with a better stone at no cost to us and there were no issues.

Im really only basing my rating off of one employee. Ive been in twice recently to the same store and had almost identical experiences.First time my boyfriend and I went in to get my promise ring cleaned and to browse for fun and he was immediately badgered to apply for a credit account. I told the man that we were just browsing rings and then I was asked about opening an account. He told me he would give me a free gem if I did it. He also wouldnt let me look at ANYTHING until I agreed so I let him. Then he came back and was trying to sell me my own engagement ring. I told him I wasnt buying my own and he continued to pester me so we left. Flash to Tuesday night 7/27 and my boyfriend and I went in again to SERIOUSLY shop for an engagement ring and we were having a pleasant experience with an older gentleman salesperson. We had it narrowed down to two choices when that same annoying man decided he couldnt handle the customer in front of him and asked to trade.First of all it was rude of him to let it be known to the public that he didnt like a client.My boyfriend and I eyed each other our secret code that we had recognized the salesman from before. The first thing he said was about opening a credit account to which my boyfriend responded no thanks. He asked twice more before we just got up and left. Its unfortunate for the other gentleman that had been helping us because we would have walked out with one.My boyfriend said no to the account because he was paying cash and the constant question was just annoying and unnecessary.I really wanted something from Kay because I already have jewelry from other stores and I am all about loyalty to a brand. He has discouraged us from ever stepping foot in that one ever again.

My fiance and i recently went to look for wedding bands and stopped by at this location. A very rude woman by the name of Heather assisted us, and was very pushy on the kind of wedding bands we should have. She insisted on additional items and told me that if he really loved me then he would pay for those additional items--which i was not interested in at all. She then asked to see my engagement ring and said that Kays quality is a lot better. She was sarcastic and had sarcastically smiled at the end of each of her sentences. I was very annoyed and could not wait to get out of there. I left angry and annoyed, and almost did not continue my search for wedding bands.My fiance and i went to Shane co. and purchased our bands there-- i would not recommend this location or this jewelry store to any one.

Horror story here. I purchased a ring back in December for my soon to be fiance. After a few months she brought it to my attention that it was too similar to the last one she had and she would like something different. She went back to that store to trade it in and she found something that she was told would work. My only stipulation was that it was right around the same cost. Before authorizing the transaction on my account I talked to the rep and she told me that it was only going to jump payments $30 a month and that the cost was right about the same. I said okay. Come to find out that it was not a $3,000 ring like she told me it was a $6,500 ring and was $3,000 difference added to my bill. By base payment jumped from about $190 to $355. Not the $30 that I was told. Now trying to get in contact with anyone is impossible and it seems like they just dont care. The employee no longer works there and now I am stuck with a huge bill that is costing us our pre approval on a house. Awful experience and I would recommend staying clear.

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at any jewelry store, I would give zero stars but it won’t let you. I brought in my wife’s diamond solitaire ring to have the stone tightened and after having it for a couple weeks they call me and tell me that they are unable to fix the ring and won’t give a reason as to why. When I pick the ring up they try to tell me that the reason is that it’s not a real diamond and is moisanite and they don’t work on that. Looking at the ring after them having it you can clearly see that the ring is very dirty and beat up. They had the stone out at some point and damaged the setting. I’ve had the ring inspected by a few other actual jewelers since that who all confirm that Kay is lying to me and don’t have any idea what they’re talking about because the diamond is definitely real and they can see where they damaged the prongs on the setting. As a result I am now paying more to have my wife’s ring fixed as the jeweler has to add more white gold to prongs to fix the setting and do the job properly because Kay didn’t have a clue what they were doing and damaged the setting. On top of all of this they lied to me to cover themselves from damaging the ring. I don’t understand how they would think somebody wouldn’t notice something like that, especially my wife who knows every single detail of her ring. Kay has no clue what they are doing and are very dishonest, I would never recommend anybody to go there and I strongly warn anybody considering shopping there for anything.

Worst experience Ive ever had. I purchased a ring that was sent away to be sized when my fiancé and I went to pick it up, it was missing a diamond it went back four times and they could not fix it nor order it😑 I was offered nothing no ring that was close to it or in value to replace my ring no discounts credits nothing. I wasnt even apologized too!! When I mentioned this to the managers I was then offered all these things at this point I declined - as a customer I should not have to point out to managers of a company and other employees what good customer service. I do not recommend this Store they have no concern for customers!!! They ruined my engagement ring!! And what do I get a check mailed to me to refund me offered by customer service finally that takes a month!!!

So disappointing. I received two gifts from Kay from my husband. The chain on the necklace broke immediately upon putting it on. I called and was told that I needed to purchase a new one for the warranty did not cover it. However it was a manufacturer malfunction and should have been replaced.A few months later I received a pair or diamond earrings. The back of on earing was too big and would not click in place. It actually fell off while I was placing the other earing in.We are a young couple and these purchases were the first diamonds that I have received from the man I will spend the rest of my life with.Sentimentality they mean the world to me. The staff could care less about standing behind their product. They want more money to fix the defects of the products purchased. I was told I can pay even more for an extended warranty.Apparently you need the warranty in order to have them help or assist in any way. A warranty should not be necessary on a pair of diamond earrings if they were functional in first place.I would not recommend spending money or time here. The staff will list prices and state why the are unable to help unless you come in and pay more.I will not have them touch or repair my items for they dont care how much they meaning they may hold.Im so upset about my experience with the products and staff. I will never go back and I recommend no one else does either.

Avoid this place no matter what! Absolute worst run jewelry store I have ever dealt with in my life. They sent me away telling me that the ring I bought would not qualify for the discount when it clearly did. I called the main office and they agreed that it should have been, so they sent me back to the store. After waiting for 30 minutes and arguing with the staff because they kept telling me they couldnt offer me that 25% engagement ring discount, they made me call the corporate office again to finally get it handled. They wouldnt even take the time to do it for me and basically accused me of never having talked to anybody. Two weeks goes by and I get a phone call saying my ring is ready, so I drive 30 minutes back there to pick it up only for them not to be able find it. Unless you want an absolute run around and crappy customer service I highly suggest you avoid this place and dont spend a penny there.

Okay, I never actually shopped at this store, but I was in the mall and walking by and the very nice looking man in a suit working at Kay, who was standing at the threshold of the store into the mall, WAS CLIPPING HIS FINGERNAILS and just letting them fly. It is baffling.

They are liars!!!! Never take your jewelry in for repairs. I took my ring in to have the prongs replaced for the center stone , tighten two baguettes and rodium plate my engagement ring. I asked 4 times to make sure that no matter what my stones were covered if the repair failed. The gentleman told me absolutely! !! Liar!!! The ring was improperly fixed, my 3/4 ct. Center diamond is gone. The loose stones were never fixed and it was mounted with yellow gold and not plated AFTER telling so called repair. I was originally told by the Asst. Manager Ramone that they were at fault because the diamond wasnt set properly and the setting was not even. When he went to his manager to rectify the situation, she berated him and told him NEVER EVER to say that to a customer. THEY ARE NEVER AT FAULT.! I am appaled! Crooks!!! I was then told that it wasnt purchased there so I was out the diamond. They were sorry but they could get me $200.00 off and financing if I couldnt afford to pay cash. Insulting!!! They are crooks, never do business. Even though this ring wasnt purchased there so many other pieces have been. 15 years of loyalty for nothing.
