As a local BP resident, this place rocks! There isnt a single item that Ive gotten that was bad. My favorite is the gondola and garlic cheesy bread.The Stone family is amazing and extremely customer oriented. They hire great staff who always take care of anyone who walks through their doors. Thanks for all the hard work you guys do!
It’s kinda sad because I really loved this place. I always get welcomed with a smile, the food is amazing and at a good price. I just can’t help but wonder why this one time I went today I had not one or two but FIVE long pieces of hair in my food. In the cinnamon bread at that, my favorite thing here. I usually don’t even bother to leave reviews but this was something else. Considering having to go somewhere else. Sad.
WOW! That is how I will start the review. Daughter had house special, she said it was very good. Wife had spaghetti and meatballs she said it was very good also. I got the jumbo steak n onion pizza with BBQ sauce. Absolutely amazing, I look forward to trying the rest of the spe Ill pizzas.

The fact is, STOI had been around for twenty years and people love the restaurant and owners.

Not a bad place for a quick bite. The sweet taste part refers to the bread for which I needed to mentally prepare. I love Italian food with crusty garlic bread. This is not that. The ravioli was just ok and my family agreed with the just okay rating on their food as well. If you like sweet bread with your pasta, you’ll like this place.
First time trying this place. I’ve lived a couple of miles for 20 years and never tried it. I’ve heard lots of rave reviews about their food and had to try it. My daughter ordered the Penne Alfredo with Chicken and I ordered the House Special. Both were single serving orders and still too much food for both of us. My daughter really enjoyed her entree and even saved half for leftovers. My house special house was super delicious. Everything was made perfect. It came with Sauteed fresh cut onions, mushrooms, green peppers, and sausage on top of penne noodles with mozzerella cheese and meat sauce. We will come back and try more items. The staff was also super friendly.
Its not your typical big chained Italian, American infused restaurant. Its a family owned, hole in the wall restaurant that you dont want to miss out on. The sweet garlic bread is so delicious and the meat sauce is amazing. You gotta try the food truck, also! Kennys Meatball Wagon.

This place is so amazing! Their spaghetti serving is huge and it comes with garlic bread. I always get it with a meatball and thats a huge ball of meat. Their pizza is thin crust and very zesty and easy to eat. Come here if you are craving some sghetti!

Just had my lunch at this seemingly modest restaurant and felt compelled to write my review right away. It was just me so I had the liberty to choose what catered to my needs alone. The lady doesn’t appreciate much of Alfredo and I don’t like the Rosa ;)So getting to the point, this place has a clean dining and you need to walk to the counter, place your order, pay for it and get a seat. Somebody brings your order, you eat and you leave the place for someone to clear your plates.The person at the front desk was very nice and as I told him that it was my first time here, he patiently walked me through the options they have under All you can eat and told me what combinations work well. You can either choose a soda or a salad to go along with the pasta/spaghetti/mostaccioli and the garlic bread.The veg salad along with the ranch and a packet of garlic croutons was so good. I followed that with the garlic bread and I must admit that this is the best I’ve ever had. The bread was soft and crunchy at the same time and it was deliciously sweet. I was literally blown away with it and eagerly went for the Alfredo penne pasta.The pasta was a bit of disappointment as it looks that they usually serve only the pasta and I had requested some veggies and could choose only mushroom and onions. The onions being raw was understandable but not the mushrooms. They seemed to have been plucked straight out of a garden and thrown on the pasta. I’m personally against wasting food but had to leave out the mushrooms and the onions as they didn’t sit with the pasta at all. This is the reason for me to rate this place one star less.Nevertheless, they have a lightening quick and a nice service and there could be other dishes which I didn’t get to try that could be out of the world. I’ll definitely get back here to explore more of their menu.
Sweet Taste of Italy is a great local find for authentic Italian food. Their garlic bread has no comparison in the twin cities. The lasagna is an absolute standout, absolutely fantastic. Their red meat sauce is unlike any Ive tasted before and the cannoli is worth trying! Staff are friendly and the service is efficient. The storefront is always clean and presentable. If youre in the area it is 100% worth checking out!

Our food plans fell through last minute (literally) for our daughters surprise party and people were due to show up in about 40 minutes. We called Sweet Taste, and they had us out the door in about 20 minutes with family sized entrees, salad, SWEET bread (which will knock you off your feet), and plates/silverware for our group. We were SO impressed at their make-it-happen approach, their over the top customer service, and they absolutely SAVED the party for us! Thank you SO much - HIGHLY recommend!
Food is great! Good portions for the price. Would have been 5 stars, but I ordered ahead so I could pick it up on my way home from work and it would still be hot. Scheduled it for 330, they confirmed, and then I got a text saying it was ready at 245. When I went in, it was just sitting on a counter so the bread was soggy and the food lukewarm. Disappointing. Order when youre on your way. However! The food does come in aluminum pans, so I was able to just pop it in the oven to heat it up again. Will definitely give it another shot.

This place is pretty busy on a Thursday night around 7 p.m. but the young adults working here do a fantastic job being friendly and efficient getting the food out quickly. The spaghetti with meat sauce and sweet garlic bread are good. The penne Alfredo with chicken wasn’t that great. It lacks the traditional Parmesan flavor and tastes like the jarred sauce at the grocery store. It’s more like a creamy white cheese sauce than an Alfredo sauce. The spaghetti, bread, price, and service are the reason for the high rating despite the Alfredo sauce. I would definitely comeback and try the other dishes and pizza.

Brought my elderly mom here for a lunch and a visit. The food is phenomenal, everything is clean and masks are worn by all staff. We felt safe eating here. We both left with boxes and enough for 1-2 more meals. Well be back!!

So, being from the north east I have had the pleasure and great experiences of eating amazing Italian food. Everything from Little Italy to my friends grandmother who was born in Italy . This is not even anything close. The price was good so that should have been a dead giveaway. When we unpacked the salad, it was old looking and smelled funny. I mean seriously , how do you scree that up?! It gets worse. I unpacked the bread , it was burnt and soggy. So then the main course (sigh) not only was it not even luke warm , but the sauce tasted like it was out of a can. When I started eating the food it was worse , pasta was soggy and the meatballs were tasteless.I understand most of people from this state dont know good food, but seriously, so many businesses are going out of business , I cant imagine how this one stays in business? I would never ever recommend this food to any friend and hesitate to recommending it to an enemy.We will never eat here again. Good luck and stay healthy .

Just ordered today from Grubhub. First time. Lasagna was good. Like the meat sauce too. Salad was okay, dark greens that have no flavor instead of romaine. But the garlic bread had a sweet taste. Didnt like it.

I have given this restaurant many chances, because my family and I love their bread. But.... Today was no different than the other days Ive been here. No one wears gloves, they are constantly wiping their hands on their nasty jeans and shirts. I usually have to ask them to wash their hands. Today the man preparing hot food (in front of the oven) didnt have on a mask, talking over the food, kept touching his shirt to fan himself and right back to making food he went. The boy making the sandwiches wipes the sweat off of his forehead, kept pulling his face covering up behind his head and went right back to making sandwiches. Again, no one has on gloves, nor did I see them wash their hands in between. Just not sanitary at all, especially during a pandemic.* The reviewer John Jordan is definitely an employee and/or family member (no rocket science needed) and making false statements. Nothing I said was non-sense. I stated FACTS. No free meal was wanted and/or consumed.

Love this place! The only place I will get spaghetti from, literally! Always get the spaghetti with meat sauce and their sweet bread meal. Very tasty, would recommend! Have tried the Italian supreme, which I enjoyed as well. Will keep returning and trying different dishes. 10/10
One of my daughters favorite places for fettuccini alfredo. Im not as big a fan. Marinara is too sweet for my liking.

Second update* not only is the owner a bad chef, but is even worse at customer service.Update* the owner responded saying it was the drivers fault instead of owning a mistake and trying to make things right.Ordered delivery. 2 pastas and a pizza. i got one pasta, a meatball sandwich and no pizza. like how do you mess up that bad where instead of pasta you send a meatball sandwich and literally forget an entire pizza??

I normally really love this restaurant, but upon arriving today I noticed the person making our pizzas and manning the oven was not wearing a mask. I noticed him touching his face and shortly after touching the pizzas/pizza pan. This man looks like he may be the owner of the restaurant, Jim Stone. I am very disappointed that I will no longer be able to eat here during the pandemic. I hope they think about the danger they are placing their customers in.

The customer service was great. She was able to suggest and answer any questions we had. The pasta dishes are average but the cheese bread is worth the trip alone. Their cheese bread is all the cheese youve wanted on well made bread and tastes amazing. The location is a bit small and can get loud if too many people are there.

Absolutely hands down some of the worst food I have ever eaten. Everything was clearly microwaved. Rubbery prefrozen ravioli. Congealed lasagna. If I could have given it a half star, I would have. The SALAD wasnt even good. How do you screw up salad!?
