I would give zero starts after the year we have had. The contractor that we signed with was supposed to pull the permit. He never did. Well, much to our dismay the fence wasnt built to code, the permit dept. was obviously furious not to mention having to deal with the city to try and get this resolved. I managed to finagle a compromise on my own with the city but the deadline for the fence removal was Sept. 24, 2021. No show. No call. Stil no date as to when to expect them to correct their mistake. It has been over a year of me doing a lot of leg work and time to try and fix their error. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. Unprofessional, lack of communication and dont own up to their mistakes which has created a huge headache for us and for our property to continue to be in limbo. I have never had a company skirt and dodge and shift blame like I’ve seen with this company. Luke the scheduler and Dave T have continued to blame others and throw their own coworkers under the bus. Absolute juvenile behavior. Had the city not interjected today on my behalf I’d still be waiting for a resolution. Save yourself a headache.

Self installed 270 ft of chain link fence. Outstanding service, and very good product. Tom walked me through much of the process, and was very helpful. Nothing negative - everyone was helpful and the whole process went well. Competitive pricing. Highly recommend.

These yoyos came out and did a fence at our neighbors. They sent some guy out to survey and since the neighbors didnt have line stakes they used mine that I had paid for years ago. Well my back lot jogs over from the front portion and they just shot a line straight down past the jog and stuck a stake 5 feet on my property. Since my back stake was missing I had to pay 375 bucks to get mine resurveyed just to toss Town and Countrys fencing stake back over in the neighbors yard. Lucky I caught it. Would you want your neighbor to build a fence on your yard, if so hire these guys?

I followed up several times requesting a quote after having an initial call with one of their representatives and have yet to receive a reply. Its been 3 weeks and have since moved on with another company who has been much more responsive and informative.

This is a price-based review only. I called Town & Country Fence for a quote...NO labor, product only. Material list: 200 linear feet of (9 gauge) 7 tall galvanized chain link fence fabric (4 rolls), 40 posts, top rail, six 36 gates, attachment hardware. Quote amount: Over $19,000.00 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, thats correct. MORE THAN NINETEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS to buy * product only * to fence in a 40 x 32 rectangle in our backyard with yours, truly, doing all of the work! I called them after receiving two LABOR-INCLUDED quotes from other individuals...one for $4500 and the other for $6000...wanted to see how much I could save by buying product and doing the work myself. $19,000.00 is...well, lets face it...a completely absurd number. For that amount, it should have included a tiny home or a nice, used Bobcat or Caterpillar skid loader. I was told just the posts were $8000.00 which is $200 PER POST!!!!!!!!! Never again will I contact this company...the cost is high to the point where it is completely insulting.

This was the worst experience we have ever had with a home project. We went with this company because of the type of fence we wanted and they said they would core our concrete. From the beginning it was not good. The fence was installed incorrectly, and had dents and chips. They said they would core our concrete for the posts, but they saw cut it and cracked a portion of our concrete. They set and reset the posts three times to get it level and never did get it plumb. You would hope the company would be willing to make it right, but it was very difficult to get responses. We almost got a lawyer. I would never recommend this company! I wish we would have looked at Angies list because they were listed #31 out of #34 when we did look which was after we started having problems with them. I will let the pictures speak for themselves. You risk this happen to your property if you go with this company.

I have gotten 2 fences done by them, a 6ft privacy wooden fence in the backyard and a chain link 4ft in the front. Great work ! The crew were great, fast, thorough and on time. The crew were considerate of my yard both times and asked where the extra dirt and what not needed to go.Our sales rep who came and measured and had the contract was Jason both times, he was very accommodating.This time they had told me they were approximately 2 weeks out but the fence didnt get put in until a month, so that was disappointing. I also paid in cash for this project and Jason came by both times to get the half down and last payment! SO helpful with a newborn .But they by far were the cheapest quote I got and there work is solid for sure.Id definitely recommend them and use them again.

Ive never installed a fence before, but with outstanding support from Tom at Town and Country Fence I was able to install over 300 feet of cedar privacy fence on my own (okay the wife helped too, thank you babe). If you are a DIYer, this is the place for you, Im sure they do a fine job installing as well but I cant speak from experience on that. The quality of the wood was excellent, out of 600 pickets and 100 2X4s, there were maybe 10 pieces I ended up exchanging. The prices are about equal with the big box stores but the service and quality cant be touched. I cant thank Tom enough for the help, he is just about the nicest guy you will meet. Throughout the process, he was always responsive and patient, even though I asked some very elementary questions. I would recommend Town and Country fence to anyone.

Weve had a great experience with Town & Country Fence. From sales, scheduling, and final product we are very happy. We were building a pool and our salesman Dave came out multiple times to make sure we met city and pool requirements. Travis was helpful and understanding when we had scheduling delays due to landscaping issues. Pricing was very competitive. Final result looks great!

We had to have our fence replaced before we left for out of town and T&C were able to adjust the schedule and get the job done. The crew that worked on the fence were friendly and hard working and finished in one day. They removed all the old fence and concrete and cleaned the area up. Very happy with the work done and the fence looks great.

Our neighbors had a fence installed by this company and they cut OUR phone line. I went outside and told them they said. they would talk to the customerand didnt even contact Centurylink. I called Centurylink Myself and came out here. And it turns out they tried to cover up the cut phone line. The next day I look out there and theyre putting CONCRETE over it. Not to mention they also destroyed our fence. Was considering buying a fence from these guys but after my experience will not be.

I’ve had the worse experience with Dave Grimmelman. We started off good at the beginning when he came to give me an estimate for a chain link fence. I was told the fence would be install mid July. We are now August and still don’t have a fence and I’ll already paid 50% down deposit. I’ve left numerous voicemail and he never returns my call. I called the other day and ask the receptionist to please pass the message and this is unacceptable. She told me she would pass the message and called I called again and she told she did her job and it’s out of her hands if he doesn’t return the call or not. Than I was transfer to the scheduling person who than told me they were installing the fence Friday of this week. Which I called on a Tuesday 8/4 and never did I receive a call or confirmed with me if I would be home. This has been the worse service ever! They were able to move the date to another day. I don’t recommend Dave or this company in general.

I would like to take the time to thank all involved with the installation of our fence located in Prior Lake, MN. The craftsmanship was outstanding and the level of professionalism from all employees involved was more than one could ask. Everybody was very personable and addressed all my concerns in a timely manor. The fence looks great! Some of the fence units began to sag after a few months post-install (because our gutter had been spitting water at it, allowing it to sink into the ground), and the guys came back out to tell us what was happening and showed us how to fix it. Very professional and helpful! Just be sure you mark where your sprinklers are beforehand if you have an irrigation system.

The crew did great work setting posts. The one issue we had was quickly fixed within hours of my call. Fence is done beautifully. Crew was rather Ned out before it was finished, they graciously temporarily put up the chain link, so our dog would have access to the yard. Above and beyond. Greatly appreciated.

We have used Town & Country Fence a couple times and couldn’t be happier with their work and products.After moving to MN and buying a house, our first order of business was to fence in our yard so our dogs wouldn’t escape. After talking to several companies, we decided on Town & Country.. Mike Bistodeau, the owner, came out to look at our project and offer a few suggestions. We went with a steel fence. Their estimate was very competitive but even if they had been more expensive, we would have used them anyway. Mike and his crew are professional, capable and very friendly. These guys obviously enjoyed their work and liked working together. Above all, they were meticulous and were constantly measuring to make sure lines were straight and level.Fast forward a few years -Because of some shoreline erosion, we needed to move one section of fence a couple feet. Again, Mike came out and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He knew we would have to keep our dogs in the house while they did their work so he sent a big enough crew to do the whole job in a couple hours.The fence still looks new, the self-closing gates still work perfectly and I wholeheartedly recommend Town & Country for any type of fence you need.

They were great! Had a 6 ft cedar privacy fence installed. Easy to get in touch with. Provided project updates regularly. Showed up at 9am (which allowed us to sleep in a bit). Knocked on the door to let us put our names in the concrete. Very friendly, had no issues. A neighbor came knocking on our door after installation to comment on our beautiful fence and to ask us who installed it. We gladly pointed them in the direction of Town & Country Fence.

I should have written this review a year ago but I was reminded this week of how amazing the customer service is. Last summer I decided to finally upgrade the fencing in my yard and had several companies out for quotes and was left feeling taking advantage of. That was until Town & Country Fence came out to meet with me, they were very clear and fair with their service and prices and I decided that I was going to have them do my fence. The day they came to install the fence I was shocked at how clean the guys kept my yard, how polite they were, they were more than happy to answer any and all my questions and how fast they got it all put together. I got so many compliments from neighbors after they were done! Now fast forward to a couple weeks ago my neighbors were playing softball in their backyard and hit my fence, breaking a hole clean through it. I called and asked about repairing the area and expected to have to wait awhile for someone to stop over and take a look. No wait at all!! They were out then next day and repaired the panel right away. If you are looking for an amazing company with great customer service look no further!!!

Worst company ever! They tell you no on everything they are a custom fence company and won’t let you do custom. The guy told me that he gave me to his manager and maybe he will call me back?! Like he never did. They take so long to get any paperwork done that you could have 3 other fence people out and I have and moved on. They are super rude they only will text with you. When they came out to do my bid. They did not even measure they just guessed. They treated you like they did not even want your business. It’s like pulling teeth with this company. If you honestly want a fence done don’t use them.

Fence was measured wrong. My husband had to correct the workers as they installed it. Gate was never ordered so the put a makeshift one up. Left piles of dirt everywhere and workers were too lazy to walk around line of bushes - cut through and created a hole. So sad we went with the business . NO communication! What a mistake - very disappointed.

It is so rare to receive service this good anymore and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone. I contacted them about a small fence repair but you would never know it by the service I received, you would think I was spending thousands! The communication, attention to detail and friendly people have gone above and beyond. I would definitely call them again!

Courteous, work was completed earlier . than promised, gave clear expectations of process. They were not the most expensive and not the cheapest. We are very happy with the finished product. The gates work great.

Everyone at Town and Country Fence was wonderful and easy to work with. They did such a great job at our last house that we decided to have them design the fence at the next one as well. From the sales staff to the work crews and the office staff, they were all professional. Love the integrity of this company and would give them more than five stars if we could.

I did a lot of checking around and Town and Country was the best deal for the quality of fence I wanted. The big box stores materials and peripheral requirements made them very near the same price for a much lower quality of materials. Since it was a straight line fence I did not need much support but, for two guys with a little knowledge, the install was a breeze. One more line of clarification on the instructions about the stiffener in the lower rail would be a great addition to the instructions. The finished install looks great! l Ill sure recommend your company to anyone who asks.

We have used Town and Country before and were happy with the quality of work. We had them install another Western Red Cedar Cap and Wrap fence on our property. It looks as nice as our other fence they did several years ago. Great workers who do the job right.

These guys are real pros. Dave and his team were incredibly responsive and handled a number of requests prior to and during the build to customize the fence to our needs. The materials are top shelf - no pre-assembled sections; they showed up with a bunch of boards on the back of a flatbed truck and built the whole fence from scratch. The quality of the materials and the workmanship is really impressive and if we ever need another fence, I would absolutely call Town & Country again.

Town and Country were great to work with. We talked to 4 companies before deciding to use Town and Country. We stopped by their showroom to get an idea of the product they offered, and their vinyl fencing was clearly higher quality than some of others we had seen.When Dave came out to measure the years and provide us with a quote he spent half an hour going over options and making sure we were getting what we wanted. The other companies we talked to were only onsite long enough to measure and ask a couple of quick questions.The installers showed up right on time, double checked the installation details and had the old fence down and new one installed in a single day. They came back a day later to hang the gate to allow extra time for the concrete to set. They cleaned up after themselves well, asked where we wanted the excess dirt from post holes after filling in under the fence, and filled in a dip in the yard with the excess dirt.The billing staff was also helpful with the process with our cities home improvement project rebate that covered part of the cost.

The whole team went above and beyond for our needs. Not only did they complete the job early from what they estimated, but they were all very friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and speedy. I can not wait to have them come back out to change out the rest of the chain link fence to vinyl. The 6 vinyl looks great, while the chain link they installed also looks as great as chain link can. This company truly cares about the work they are performing and want to have happy satisfied customers, and it shows in their courteousness.

Ive worked with Town and Country Fence for the past year while finishing up my fence project. Theyve always been great every time Ive stopped in for last minute supplies or called to ask questions. I felt like they gave me the same service and attention as a DIY project than if I were a full installation customer.

We needed to replace our 20 year old picket fence. Our posts were fine but we needed the cross beams and pickets. We stopped by the showroom and Matt was very friendly and professional. He helped us figure out how much lumber we needed to do the project ourselves, had everything delivered fast and the lumber was exceptional quality. The delivery driver that came to the house was very friendly, professional and helpful in getting all the lumber where it needed to go until we started the project. I would highly recommend this company!!

Great experience. Prices of individual lumber items very close to department stores. Largest advantage is the service. Everything was packed and ready for loading each time I arrived. Matt helped me with the first half of this fence last year also. Always received extra pickets and was still credited fully for cracked or damaged ones. Needed a couple of extra 2 x 4s. Matt threw those in for nothing. Each time I went to the yard, I was given final decisions.

We put our Town & Country fence in a few years ago to keep kids and dogs in the yard, and spent almost $13k on an American-made fence, believing that we would get a high quality fence. We discussed the breed of dog (Old English Bulldogs -- they are not small dogs) with the sales rep, to ensure that we got the right fence for our needs. We cant leave our dog in the yard at all -- she goes right between the bars and out into the street. She has bent the bars on the gate in a few places with very little effort. The fence did not fit either the purpose or our quality expectations.

They were great to work with. Salesman was personable and came out twice to make sure everything was correct. The installers were very friendly and gave us some ideas on the fence placement around some bushes that look great. One other note, I cant believe I lost the keys to the gate but went into the office and they happily gave me a replacement. Id encourage anyone to check them out.

Awesome support for a DIY fence project! My salesman Tom was fantastic in helping me scope out and get the right materials for my fence project. It was a mix of 6 vinyl privacy fencing along with black chain-link in another part of our yard. I have never installed a fence and was a bit afraid of the slope of the yard and other details. I was very pleased when I went in to their showroom and Tom took the time to show me my options and the benefits of each type of material.Once the material was selected he also took the time to show me exactly how to install the components, what to expect for installation and he was very patient with all of my questions. He put me at ease for how to work with the slope of the yard and gate placement, etc.During my project I also had interactions with the shop foreman who helped me with the gates and loading the material in my trailer, the rep who handled the scheduling and special ordering of some of the material, all of which were very positive and helpful people.I got the fence installed with the help of my neighbor and even through some rookie mistakes on our part, it looks fantastic.Overall I would highly recommend using Town & Country Fence for any fence project. The knowledge, service and selection are far superior to the home improvement stores.

Weve had our fence from Town & Country for just under two years. Its beautiful. Im taking the time to write this review now because a full-grown silver maple (two stories high) fell directly on our fence and it didnt break. The only thing damaged is a tiny bend in the hardware, that we were able to hammer back in place.Anyway, were very impressed with our fence.

Jason, the rep. was great, quote was fair and the fence is beautiful, would recommend 100% satisfied. Cant say enough good things about the whole process.

I only with the fence company i have been dealing with here had the same sort of customer service as you guys do! My project was a straight forward fence, but the logistics made this difficult. I had purchased a house in Plymouth while I was still living in CA. I had to schedule the meetings at the house around my travel schedule and Mike was very accommodating. As we were doing the final walk through to mark where the fence was going Mike commented it looks like your neighbor is putting in a pool, we can probably tie into his fence and that will save you some money. Well, I hadnt met my neighbor yet since they hadnt moved in. Mike had the T&C Fence team track down who the landscaper was, coordinated the connection to the new fence next door. Of course, that would end up landing after my family moved out with our 2 dogs. Mike was then able to get all the fence up (except for where we were going to do the tie in) plus a temporary fence so that when we rolled into town we had a secure area for our dogs. Then they promptly die the final piece when my neighbors fence was done. The service I received from Town & Country Fence was superior.

I used town and Country Fence to replace sections of my fence damaged by high winds during a rain storm. They provided a detailed estimate and drawing which came in really handy . Once the job was approved everything was done in a short time and the end product was great. I would highly recommend using them again.

They installed a backyard picket fence 27 years ago and were willing to replace some broken posts and save the weathered panels. Very nice 3 man crew did the work in a few hours and cleaned up. We were very happy that they would do the post upgrade without having to replace the whole fence. They even had DIY materials and I was able to rebuild my three gates myself and save some money.

The staff was great to work with! We had specific design requirements and preferences and they helped us find the best solution. We had a cedar fence installed and the end product is beautiful!

We advise all our customers to flag all the sprinkler heads that are near the line of the intended fence. Our crew then does their best to avoid the lines. A removable panel is simply a 6 section that is flanged and can be removed to get vehicles, etc. thru. Here is a list of possible follow up questions you can feel free to use.1. Are your crews in house or subcontractors.2. Are they licensed and bonded.3. Do you install fences during leap years.4. Will I get a free bowl of soup with my fence.The ball is in your court *****. Im anxiously awaiting your next email.Seriously? This is completely unacceptable. This is how a salesperson responds to someone interested in spending over $12,000 on a fence. I would avoid them like the plague.

Great experience from sales through the install process. Installation crew was on time and courteous and most importantly did an excellent job. Follow up on a few questions related to future care of the fence was well-informed and quick.

Helpful staff and good prices on fence supply/accessories. I had a fence installed and decided to add on caps later. After looking online/home depot/lowes and struggling to find the right kind, I called TC fence. They actually had better prices and were able to ensure the right fit.

Went to this place to buy chain link fence ties and there is suppose to be 100 in a bag and there were only 86. Worst part was I was suppose get the longer ones but there were only 27 long ones and 59 short ones. Tom resolved this issue by dropping off a bag of ties to my front door. Great service!!

I dont typically write reviews, but the company came out to do a consultation and I had follow up questions about pricing, matching prices, and other simple (and respectfully) stated inquiries. Instead of responding I was ignored for over 10 days. I sent a follow up email to their general email address to follow up and address the issue of no communication. THEN my consultant responsed, along with a managers response, and neither of them addressed the lack of communication or were in anyway apologetic. Rather, they just said they couldnt do anything with the price and go elsewhere. I thought it was incredibly poor service and I went with another company.

Had exactly what I needed. Provided suggestions on how to secure two 21-foot top tails to a small SUV, and helped me tie it down - made it home just fine! Very friendly, and very helpful.

Town and Country Fence (TCF) recently completed a project for me to remove 295’ of chain link fence and replace it with an aluminum fence. I regret to say that the project execution was not to my satisfaction. When I signed the contract on 7/30/19 I was given a verbal date of 7 to 8 weeks out to install. That would be sometime in mid-September, actual installation did not occur until October 7th. Also included in the signed contract were the payment terms which stated 10% down when signing the contract, a second 40% payment with the notation “post set” and the balance at completion. On 9/23 I was contacted by the salesman who informed me that I would have to make the second 40% payment or the project could not go forward. I objected and advised him that the contract stated that the 40% was due “post set” as stated in the contract. He responded that the statement in the contract did not mean “post set” but instead meant sometime before they begin to set posts. I relented and paid up. TCF agreed to pick up the required zoning permit, when the installation crew arrived no permit had been applied for.TCF gets there aluminum fence material from a company named Jerith Manufacturing. In the Jerith brochure there is a statement that states there material is HS-35 Alloy™ (which is a made up name) which has a minimum yield strength of 35,000 psi. When I was preparing to sign the contract I asked the salesman if he knew what grade of aluminum they were using or what HS-35 Alloy™ is. He replied that he did not know but would find out and let me know. Not hearing back I called Jerith myself with the same question and got nowhere, hit a brick wall so to speak. I than made contact with the TCF sales manager who contacted Jerith and came back with more unverified, worthless information, and a statement from Jerith that their aluminum is a “proprietary product”. I can’t believe that Jerith uses enough aluminum to get a special run at any of the aluminum producing mills. A common aluminum alloy used for extrusions that has a 40,000 psi yield strength is 6061-T6. Another grade of aluminum that is commonly found in extrusions is 6063-T52 but it has a yield strength of only 21,000 psi and is significantly cheaper. Therefore I can only conclude that Jerith wants the public to believe that they are using a high strength aluminum alloy but in fact using a lesser and cheaper grade of aluminum. Or perhaps the material they are using is brought in from China or other similar places and does not comply with any recognized U.S. standards.Proceed with caution when considering a fence from Town and Country Fence, especially if it is an aluminum fence.I gave it two stars only because it is a good looking fence.

These guys are great! I talked with one of the guys in the showroom and they were there to answer my questions right away. I had a lot of them since i dont do fence a lot. i just showed him they layout and they took care of the rest. the materials were great (i was installing aluminum for my customer) - way better than that junk i found at home depot. even when i had questions at the job site i called them and they gave me the information i needed to complete the installation. i am happy, and now my customer is happy. hopefully this is something i can do more now.

I had a customer that needed a repair on a fence that an out of control car drove through. I knew next to nothing about chain link fence but the retail guys at Town and Country do. I had to go back and get some accurate measurements and even took some pictures of the damaged fence. Once I did that they helped me get the right sized replacement parts and instructed me on exactly how to repair the fence. When I got the job done my customer said she couldnt even tell where the damage was. I just might look into doing more fence repairs this year.

Two days before the person, who was scheduled to do the estimate, texted me to say they were injured. I thought that the company would call me the next day to arrange for another estimator knowing of the employees injury. Waited three weeks and no call from anyone. When I called and explained what happened to the managemnt team and and asked if - no contact to a planned estimate when one of their employees are injured - is their process for customer service there was no response. The manager said they would come out and estimate and send a bid. Well the Residential Sales Manager of Town & Country Fence sends me an email stating that We have chosen to not quote your project. They gave me a name of an independant fence contractor instead. Maybe they could just list independent contractors on their website and saved me some time. it speaks volumes that this business does not address anyone on these reviews that has concerns with their work yet only answers those who complement them.That, plus their approach towards customer service, speaks voliumes to me.Buyer beware.

TCF helped us navigate a utilities issue and helped us choose different material without having to change our installation schedule. Very flexible and they communicated with us regularly.

Its the only fence outfit in the state that sells over the counter to the public there knowledgable got what you need and if they dont theyll get it for you. and top that off they have a great install crew to do the hard part for you!
