The owner of the shop worked on my car transmission (Subaru Impreza) for decent price. He also had extended warranty on the part which I like most. Also he worked on my family and friends vehicles. Therefore Mr Long is the perfect guy I will recommend you for your car repair (Import and Domestic).

I usually do my own oil changes due to some bad experiences with auto repair shops in the past(Midas) but decided to get it done here because of the good reviews and my busy work schedule. I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation, which was scheduled for Saturday. When I showed up, the owner said he was the only person working and asked if I can come back next weekend. I understand his situation, but he couldve called to let me know ahead of time. I wasted my time driving all the way to his shop.Recommendations:- Hire reliable workers and a receptionist.- Be considerate of peoples time.- Dont take on to many projects if you dont have the man power.

Thank you TRUST for another seamless experience! A year ago I stumbled across you guys by accident. Today I was back for an alignment, spark plugs and ball joint replacement. Originally, I had been scheduled to get the same work done in Elk River (by a trusted referral) over the course of two days. One day my engine light came on and I randomly pulled into Trust Transmission & Auto Repair. From the moment I stepped in to ask for help I felt genuinely cared for. I had stopped at another auto repair shop in Maple Grove earlier that week due to the same problem. They charged me to examine my car, but didn’t clearly explain the problem, nor did they fix it and sent me on my way.The gentleman who helped me at Trust Transmission & Auto Repair, not only diagnosed the problem for free while I was present, but also explained to me the severity of the problem & why it needed fixing. I just got to say mechanics at Trust did amazing work. Had my car break down had it towed to somewhere else they couldnt find anything wrong. Brought into the dealership. They did not properly diagnose the issue. After multiple parts replaced had not corrected the issue. I went on Google to find a trusted mechanic. I came across Trust Transmission and Auto. They were able to diagnose the mechanical issue and repaired my car after the dealership and another transmission guy missed the failure of the suspension. Trust was able to get me back on the road in no time. Thanks again Trust.

I would HIGHLY recommend Trust Transmission & Auto Repair compared to all other auto repair shops in the area. I usually have Long do the routine oil change, transmission fluid, electrical, and overall maintenance for my car and he always does a phenomenal job, yet still giving me a very reasonable price I can afford. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

From oil changes to replacing my alternator Long and Alex are the best in the business when it comes to diagnosing the problem and fixing it. This is by far the best shop I have taken my car to in the 4 years I have been in the twins cities. They did fantastic work my axles and transition at a great price, plus replaced both front bearing/hub assembly without charging me for labor :). Let me not forget to mention that Long went above and beyond to find parts and kept his shop open till 8pm to work on my car so I could make it to work this morning. I am sooo grateful I found Trust Transmission and Auto. Long is the man!!!!

If i could give 0 stars i would. Took my car there to have transmission rebuilt. They told me 2 weeks and it was over 2 months. After getting car back, i drove it one time and it starting grinding. So did not drive it anymore. Had a friend who works on cars look at and, and found out they did not tighten the axle nuts. Needless to say the axle was ready to fall out. I took it back, and they took no responsibilty for it whatsoever. They tried to blame me. I will never take a car there again.

Its a scary thing when your primary source of transportation goes down. We have all had that experience where the repair is quoted at thousands of dollars that we do not have. These guys will explain to you what the problem is, how they are going to fix it, and give you the cost up front. The owner even took me in the shop to show me how he was going to fix the problem with confidence. I have no problem referring anyone to this shop as I am confident that your experience will be similar to mine.

Trust Transmission...... trust me, you will pay about double here compared to any other transmission shop. Was quoted over $1800.00 and had to leave car for 3 days. Went down the road to T. S. I. Transmission and same exact job $1000.00 and a free loaner car and got my car back the next day. I also called Affordable Transmission and they to were under $1000.00 with no loaner car. I will say the man was friendly and put my car on the scope to tell me the problem for no charge.

I recently had my car at midas auto across the street from Trust Transmission and auto. They told me it would be thousands to fix. I decided to limp my car over to Longs shop and he diagnosed and repaired it within a couple days. He was awesome, honost and my car drives better now than ever before. The cost was alot less than I imagined. He replaced my transmission for under 1000 bucks. Thank you so much Long and we will refer everyone to your shop.
