The food is some of the best we’ve had on our recent stay in Boston. The pizza, the calzones, spicy loaded fries and Greek salad were all delicious. The owners and staff were all so nice and hospitable. We can’t recommend this place enough, you will be happy you stopped in.

This is my new favorite place to eat. It has the best Fish & Chips Ive ever tasted, which my mom has had and absolutely agrees, the best tasting Steak Tips, and even the best tasting Hamburgers.. I cant not mention their pizza, which is very good as well. One couldnt ask for better service and staff either; I feel as though Im family whenever I step though the doors. And as for the serving of food one gets-- the price is VERY reasonable! Everyone needs to eat here. 5 stars.

I order the wrong pizza. but the crust was like some store bought frozen factory stuff. the cole slaw is blankity blank horrible.

I usually enjoy there food but tonight the fish sandwich wasnt good. Very dry and over cooked. I was really disappointed. 8-23-21

These people gave me food cooked on one side the other uncooked and hard pita bread! Im very sure it was done on purpose, because it was so obvious! The next day when I called to speak with the owner or manager, he seemed to already know my order.I feel that this was Racially motivated! I Dont recommend this place and I will not be going back! They are going to mess with the Wrong one!Its under new management...

Last night, I ordered a straight forward bacon, mushroom and extra cheese pizza through GrubHub at 7pm. It was expected by 8pm. I called at 820, and they said it was on its way. It was delivered at 9:00pm. An hour late, and 2 hours after the order. Horrible. Additionally, it was cold, and the order was wrong! I received a pepperoni and bacon. I tried calling over the span of 30 minutes, and all I got was a busy signal. If this was the first wrong order, Id understand that mistakes happen. This is the second wrong and late order in a month. Dont order from here.

I love these guys! Ive been coming for lunch since April and I have yet to be disappointed. The customer service is awesome. They know my voice when I call and are patient with all my additions lol. They also always meet me with a smile. My favs: chicken salad sub, chef salad, grilled chicken Caesar salad, veggie calzone. Kudos gentleman, I appreciate you!

When I arrived the person didnt have his mask on, but wearing on the chin. The second he wasnt wearing any gloves when he was preparing the pizza. NASTY! NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered the buffalo chicken and the Mediterranean pizza. Went to pick it up. Pizzas were made to perfection. Customer service exemplary. Can not beat the price. Dine-in option is also available. Will visit again. The attendant also packed cutlery and plates upon request. Also chili flakes. Excellent!

A pale comparison to what it once was. Ive been eating here for literally 45 years. Meatball grinder had whole small meatballs, instead of the large sliced ones it used to have (they laid in the sandwich better), and at one end of one half, I smelled a strong odor of garbage/fish. I did not continue eating. The bread was correct, but the grinder was under toasted. It was sad.

Ive only ever had delivery from here, but honestly its always been very good and very quick! Granted I live less than a mile away, but they still manage to have my order to me in 30-40 minutes tops, which is great. The chicken tenders are some of the best Ive had around, especially with the sweet chili sauce! The italians are great as well. I will continue to order from here as long as they continue to be open! My only complaint is the delivery guy, not the friendliest, but also, I probably wouldnt be either if that was my job.

Dude kept wiping his nose while making my sub then got mad when I asked him to wear new gloves. But the lady at the counter was really nice.

A must call for what you order not to be right when its delivered. Last 2 times i ordered first time no fork to eat my salad when i was at work.2nd NO tarter sauce for the fish plate and was asked to waite over 1 hr for someone to get it to me. Yea. Great to know that they care about the people who order from them .. they put 98% into what they make and 2% into what they put into what u call in for your order. Wow and they blame the customers for ther mess ups.. how is it our falt.... what a way to aerve the public...

I ordered at 4:30 PM and received my food at 7:15 PM. Not only was my food 3 hours late, the driver (RALPH on caller id) called me with a attitude and told me to Come down, because im too busy. Instead of losing my cool i decided to just give a review. I dont usually give reviews but this is hands down the worst experience Ive ever had with a restaurant. Wont order from here EVER AGAIN!

This has been my go-to steak sub spot in Brookline for many many many years. Between the steak tip, steak bomb, and steak & cheese you cant go wrong.

Food and service have gone down hill since previous owners have left. For a quite afternoon with only two parties in the restaurant (myself and another group of three) it took 10 minutes for the guy to give me my slice! from the 5 seconds of taking my money and walking to the back all three employees that were on shift made eye contact with me not once asked if I was all set or thought it was strange that I had not received my slice. I had to to bring it to there attention and even still they brought out the other parties FULL PIZZA and still not my single slice. Not only that they constantly mess up orders such as asking for extra mayo on a sub and not putting any mayo on it at all. Defiantly not going back new ownership of this establishment has ran it straight into the ground.

By far the best place to spend my dimes..squeaky clean..fast and above all..Real Pizza you can easily heat n eat next day as well (fresh ingredients indicator)..thanks guys! Awesome! Breakfast of the Champions!

I grew up coming to this pizza shop, but it was recently bought out. The new ownership is incredibly nice. Same food, fantastic service.

We used to order from here all the time but lately service and quality have gone down. We will not be ordering again after this experience. We waited over 1 hour and a half for our food to be delivered and when we called to follow up, they guy over the phone was rude and said the delivery guy had too many deliveries. When I explained he said 20 minutes for delivery and its been over an hour he said I heard wrong and that he never says that but the guy will be here any minute. Its been almost 1 hour and 45 minutes and the food still didnt arrive. We will never order from here again. We decided to call Pizzeria Dante, this will now be our new delivery place, better food and much better service!! Never again will we order from you!!!

Poor place, but the pizza are very good

Village Pizza used to have great food and customer service but has gone down hill. They delivered to our home fpr over 14 years and suddenly do not want to deliver to Jamaica Plain anymore. We spent hundreds of dollars a year and they have completely lost our respect. There are plenty of restaurants that have better food and customer service than this place. So long Village. Definitely has gone down hill. I would never order any food from them again.

Meh. Like others have said its basically deep dish pizza. Its heavy and kind of greasy. If you like deep dish, go for it otherwise beware the gut bomb!

This place USE to be awesome. Now it looks like it has new owners. It took me 45 minutes to get a buffalo chicken finger sub. Ten people got their orders before I did. The lady that ran the register can barley speak English and cant even understand what yourre saying to her. I would of got my money back and left but she literally would not be able to grasp that concept. This place WILL go out of buisness soon. I HIGHLY recommend going somewhere else. Dont waste your time.

Chicken soup was not good at all and we had to return it as it did not seem fresh. Chicken kabob dinner was not good and it was not a Kabab at leat not I know of. The taste was not good either. Pizza was good.

Been going there since 1976. If there is a better place with better people, I have yet to find it.

I got my food late, and didnt even receive my full order when it was delivered!

Twice now iv ordered for delivery and had the same problem took an hour and a.half for the food to arrive and it was all cold when it finally did !!! Had to have the order remade both times and so far yet another 35 mins later the remake has yet to arrive !!! I live less than a 10 min walk away and ordered because I am having a very busy night only to have dinner wind up being the biggest problem so far !!!
