Alan is the most professional and genuinely kind person I have had the pleasure of contacting when I needed my AC condenser unit replaced. I cannot more highly recommend him. Alan and his team came to our house to install central air and forced heat (replacing radiators). We got multiple quotes and Alan was very reasonable, and he and his team show up when they say and are very nice and professional. Despite their busy schedule, they came and got central air up and running for our upstairs to help us with the heat. Looking forward to having the rest of the house done! Would definitely recommend using them!

DON’T CALL PRO AIR.I was having all of the above done. The work is still incomplete and we started in December 2020. I switched over to the mini splits units but Allen won’t take my calls nor will he return my texts. He’s taken about $12,500 for 4 mini splits, exterior tubing, electrical and another small heating/ac unit in my attic living space and has disappeared. BEWARE OF THIS MAN. DONT GIVE HIM MONEY UNTIL YOU KNOW YOUR SYSTEM WORKS. Another electrician told me that as soon as the units turn on the wires that are in the closed up walls now will not be able to sustain the machines.SOMEONE FIND ALLEN…….

Nice team to work with. Alan is extremely knowledgeable and was able to make some very good recommendations regarding not only system design (flow and sound level), but equipment. We had one tweak that was needed after the system was installed and Alan came by the next day to remedy. Can’t beat that! I’d recommend to anyone looking for a knowledgeable team at a fair price.

He just finished a job for my parents. His price was excellent and he did a great job. It was a full HVAC replacement project. We got a new Furnace, Hot Water Tank and AC. Also being in a condo is tough and any issues his team faced were handled no problem. Would use again for sure. Excellent time management as he was onsite every morning by 8:30am.

Avoid at all costs!Alan is a liar, a thief, and does illegal work (operates with no gas licenses or any kind of permits). On top of that, the quality of the actual work is laughable - I literally had other contractors, who I had to hire to fix his job, laugh at what they saw.We had a very similar situation to one of the other reviewers. Alan gave us a quote and gave us a timeline. Mid-way through the job, he said his initial plan wasnt feasible so we needed a new (and more expensive) plan to have heat in our house. He also kept asking for more upfront payments and kept delaying the process, lying to us every single time we spoke about his progress and timeline. He kept taking no-heat calls from other people and used that as an excuse why he cant be working on our house. Which is very funny because we had no heat, and had to move out of our house because of that!Also, note that Alan has bee sued in the past and he keeps changing the legal name and address of his company.Hopefully people are doing their diligence before hiring Alan and dont fall for his lies (like we did).

I have used Proair in the past, and this past Saturday, when my furnace stopped working, I called Allen.He came out and quickly identified what the issue was.Unfortunately, we needed to order a replacement part, but the supply houses were closed on the weekend.Allen came back on Monday as promised ( at the time which was convenient for me ), quickly replaced the part and restored the heat.My wife and I were very impressed with his polite manner and great serviceFive stars !!!

A year ago we hired Alan to replace a central air conditioning unit in our home and his work was shoddy at best. We’ve had frequent issues with the unit since.We had followed up with Alan almost a dozen times to have him come back and service the system and without fail every few weeks the system was rendered inoperable. Alan is NOT punctual whatsoever. We are a working family and in order to accommodate our appointments with him we have all had to take time off of work for Alan not to show up or not to show up within the agreed upon timeframe.There is a 93 year old woman who lives on the property with several medical conditions and she requires temperature control. Alan’s lack of integrity places her at risk.I implore all of you to NOT seek service from Pro Air Heating & Air Conditioning. The quality of work is a D- at best. Professionalism is nonexistent. There is also no value in his services as we’ve contracted a new company to finish his work.If you take his services be prepared to eventually have to take him to court, as we are currently doing.

Very long story short. Paid Alan and crew 80% of the job. They showed up once in a while to hack up a floor or wall for a vent. Horrible cuts in all the wrong places in the house (had to repair 3 walls and floor twice!). They would leave a mess for me to clean and repair, then not show up again for weeks. After months went by and only part of the job was complete, Alan stopped showing up and stopped answering me, and he kept all my money. In other words, I was robbed. Be very careful!

Alan hit my car with the company can four months ago. Since then he wont answer the phone or says that he will get back to me and doesnt.Makes me wonder if his work is any better.Also, it seems that the business does not have any address, or more specifically 5 or so different addresses that all look fake, makes one wonder

My heating broke down at the end of the winter, It took about 3 weeks and constant nudging until Alan replaced a part. I paid him a $450. Within 24 hours we realized that there was still a problem. I contacted Alan the next day to tell him there is still an issue. He came by to take a look, and said we may have to change a few other parts, and he will see what he can do. It is now midsummer and nothing has been done. Ive called and texted him numerous times, and he keeps on putting me off. Needless to say I am very disappointed in the service. I have used him before and he always took care of things within a few days. Once this issue is fixed I will not be calling him again.

We called Alan 2 months ago to our furnace, he did a great job, reasonable price. I called him this morning, he discovered our filture was dirty and never charged us for the call. I highly recommend Alan and his crew .

Like many of the previous reviews, he took our money , took out the neighbor’s functioning compressor and replaced IT with one incompatible with their system. He left OUR non functioning compressor untouched. During the hottest summer on record we had no AC. The new compressor he mistakenly installed at the neighbor’s is damaged by the incompatible coolant and must be discarded. So now not only we, but the neighbor’s are without AC. And we both must pay again to have the system fixed correctly / $9000 for us.Throughout this process he has been unresponsive, says he will come fix it but never shows up. We haven’t seen him since early July. He is not responding to ourcommunications. He took the money and ran.

ProAir fixed our apartment by installing an additional heating unit as our single unit was struggling to heat the whole apartment. Guys were friendly and installation was neat and quick.

Alan was very friendly and the cost was much, much less than I expected. They really saved the day.

I hired Alan in December and gave him a sizable down payment. He finally returned my phone call in February, long story short, he did a very unsatisfactory job and didnt complete it til end of June. I was running all three units at the temperature set at 64, the house temp read 82. I repeatedly called and called., only to be told his machine wasnt excepting and messages. I ended up calling and filing a complaint with Mitsubishi, who recommended I contact a certified Mitsubishi dealer. Fisher and Churchill came 3 times, multiple problems, shoddy workmanship on Alans part. I was thankful that fisher churchill fixed the multiple problems with my 3 units. I wished I and called them in the first place, would have saved myself a lot less stress, headaches and money!Needless to say, I wouldnt recommend him to anyone!
