If you are on a budget but still want to dress nicely, please shop at Eva B. Back in the 90s, this place used to be Le Costumier, which was a store for theater and film folks to rent/buy costumes. Eva B. is very much like Le Costumier: it looks the same and offers an amazing selection of affordable vintage clothing. The sales people are always helpful and nice. They also sell food at the counter, which is always delicious.

I usually do not write reviews, but this store is genuinely amazing. The mood is everything, and the staff is awesome and really helpful, youll likely find your cup of tea (literally and figuratively) the prices are crazy low for the cool pieces of clothing you can find, I went there with 80$ I got out more than Id ever expect buying with it. Theres so much more to discover!!!please do not miss your chance to go here :)

I just love this place so much - I basically come here every week! Its the perfect substitute for missing proper flea markets in Montreal! Ive also tried almost every other secondhand shop in Montreal and Eva B. is by far the best one. The vast options of clothing, either real vintage things on the first floor or modern secondhand things on the second floor, the prices are also very fair!

They have a really wide selection of items for everyone’s taste, the clothes themselves seem to be still in really decent condition and are priced pretty fairly. They also have a coffee shop for those in need of a snack. The only downside in my opinion is they don’t have enough mirrors around the floors.

It’s a amazing place and there is so much to choose from. The staff was great and the prices are okay. Sometimes a little pricey but they have unique pieces such as basic thrift and second hand clothes. My only complaint that it was so big that it slightly felt overwhelming but also it was the first time I went and probably with time I’d rank it higher. I didn’t try the food tho.

It is a really cool, unique store with tons of different things from clothing to shoes and accessories. There’s even popcorn. It’s very random but in a good way. My only complaint was how busy it was and how tight everything was packed, made it hard to look at some of the clothing. But if you’re into thrift shopping and finding that unique piece, this is the place to go!

I used to love shopping here. I have donated clothes pre pandemic and had no issues. But the last time I left three large bags of clothes, shoes (shoes were still in their original boxes) and some household items (still in their box). When I went back to pick up the things they did not keep, I was shocked. They destroyed the boxes, the shoes were smashed in the bottom. It was disrespectful how they repacked my items. I also left a few objects which they do not accept and I understand that but they still took those object out of their original box and destroyed the box. I do not understand why did they open the box when they could clearly see what’s in it and knew that it’s something they don’t sell in their store. They should not have destroyed it. Overall I think it wasn’t very disrespectful they way they returned the stuff they did not need.

An absolutely amazing store. The entire place has a charming casual hipster/vintage vibe - you could go here for that alone. I was extremely pleased with the selection they had to offer too - especially when it comes to vintage clothing. I got some pretty cool jackets at extremely good prices. And if you just want to grab a bite with friends and read a book - this place definitely has the perfect ambience for it. Personally, Ill visit them without fail everytime Im in Montreal.

Wow, coolest thrift store I’ve ever stepped foot in. The vibe and character in this place is insane, so amazing!! First, you get free popcorn and apple cider at the door (amazing) and a free bag check. This store is massive, and packed with tones of selection! There’s also a cafe/restaurant in the back, food looked great! Staff are lovely, and there is a place to try things on. Definitely recommend. You may be thrown off by the graffiti entrance, but once you step in side you’re blown away.

Been here for the first time and I had such high expectations from all the reviews but i dont think my expectations were met, unfortunately in terms of the stuff they have...the clothes seemed on the pricier side for a thrift store and also there wasnt a mix of stuff. It seemed they cater to the hipsters and the rocker guys and gals, if u know what I mean...more punk style stuff.. on entering, we were greeted with a smile and some acv and some fresh popcorn which was awesome..I was looking for some bags but they had very few and I didnt like any. I also wanted to buy a warm ish jacket buy didnt like the ones they have and they did have a few. I bought a thin zipper jacket more like a fashion one and not a warm one at all.paid $20 for it.

They have fun new concepts every now and then, like back in 2012 I remember the pool of clothes where everything was 1$. Its not there anymore but its still very cheap to shop there, their prices are comparable to those of church basement bazaars.in other words, thank you so much Eva B for being there all these times I didnt bring a sweater or broke my shoes downtown.Highlight: the clothes that are tried on by customers are then steam cleaned and disinfected before theyre put back on shelves. Such a lovely second-hand store. Upon entering you can put your bag and coat for coat check and they had small snacks like popcorn and apple cider that were complementary. On the main floor is a combination of jackets, vests, cowboy boots (like so many cowboy boots), purses, jewelry and they have a snack bar where you can order wraps, samosas, baklava, coffee, cookies etc. They have a small seating area towards the back where you can enjoy your snacks while taking a break between shopping.Upstairs theres a mens section, varies from plaid shirts/button ups, shoes, hats,/caps, jackets, sweaters, and bottoms. Theres a small nook by the window for eating and across the floor theres a couple couches and sofas to relax, play some games and eat.Towards the left, theres another room where they have a variety of old records/vinyls, frames, sewing odds and ends, plates and prints/posters.If you keep going further in, thats the main room for womens clothing. Varies from scarves, hats, shoes, bottoms, shorts, overalls, jackets, dresses, swimwear, lingerie and such. They have 2 changing rooms, one on the first floor and another on the 2nd floor. A lot of items are priced anywhere from 50 cents to $25. They take cash and card but charge 25 cents for a paper bag, which ripped on me after walking to the metro, best to bring your own reusable bag.Theres a cash desk on the 1st floor which is where you pay for all your things. Oh and they also had a second division on the first floor which I was told had books and other furniture.I would definitely visit again and bring my own bag :) I could spend hours in there!
