Went here every day during our long weekend in Boston. Great lattes and breakfast sandwiches. Loved the cannoli! Staff was very friendly and efficient

Great tastes. Love the decor. Ambiance is OK. However have yet to get my exact same drink done right at this location. I always get same excuse. That excuse does not cover why the rest of drink is improperly made. Yet they charge the same price even after they tell you ( once they have already taken your money) sorry, were missing half the ingredients. Please tell me that ahead of time. The missing ingredients are what set the drink apart! Food has always been good.

Super friendly staff and spaced indoor seating for customers

Although beverages and pastries were definitely good. I think overall service and cleanliness in the place could improve a lot. Tried the matcha latte and the pistachio muffin and they were really good. Nonetheless, the place look a little careless.

This was a cozy cafe with a quiet atmosphere and the lattes were delicious. Would be a great place to study.

I had a negative experience at this location: 1 Harvard street in Brookline.I was there in July 17th at around 5 pm on a date. I was ridiculed by both the staff members that were there.I made my way to the counter and kindly asked for a cappuccino instead of the americano I ordered. I told the barista that the drink wasn’t what i expected but she ignored my complaint. I remained calm because I was on a date. The barista explains that it was one shot and that’s why it was watered down.She then proceeded to charge me for the cappuccino. The barista failed to apologize after I told her the coffee wasn’t what I expected and she failed to make up for her mistake. She instead wanted to charge me twice and later came to the table and to reitérate her statement in front of my date “I can’t refund you” after I told her forget it , I don’t want the coffee or the refund. I didn’t want to make a big fuss about the situation.I felt so embarrassed and it ruined my date. Such an uncomfortable situation. If I went to Starbucks they would simply apologize and remedy the issue by providing something else, without the fuss of exchanging, or double charging a customer.Please educated staff members about resolutions and customer service to avoid this type of embarrassing situations.

Very comfortable atmosphere, Old World 🌎....Service was good..However, the food is absolutely delicious!! The ingredients are fresh, the chicken soup has flavors upon flavors and there is a perfect balance of avocado, bacon, lettuce and bread.. Perfect for dipping in the soup.. Its always great to visit to Caffe Nero😃

Fabulous! If I lived nearby, this would be my go-to cafe. I got an iced vanilla latte & a turkey sandwich, my husband got an almond croissant & an americano. All delicious.

I ordered a bacon and cheese croissant to go and asked to warm it up. So imagine my disappointment when I open a well packaged and long-wanted treat and see it was heated so much it actually burnt. The coffee was fine, but I don’t think this is the way to go, Caffè Nero.

By far the best latte in the area! All the baristas make excellent coffees. They are friendly and reliable.

Been coming here for a year now to grab a coffee and I have not had any negative experiences. The staff are super nice and they seem really good at remembering orders when theyre multi-tasking. Their coffee is not too strong like Starbucks, but its just a bit better than Dunkin Donuts. The atmosphere is also nice and relaxing. There are some booths, cushy chairs at tables, and pretty decent lighting.

I am from Switzerland and we have due to the short distance to Italy some very good coffee over there - Caffè Nero is my harbor whenever Id like to drink some good roasted Coffee in the US

Just because its better than Starbucks doesnt mean its good!. This place used to be great but now most of the baristas seem untrained. A flat white is the same as a cappuccino is the same as a latte is the same as a cortado. Just different sized glasses. Milk dumped in with an inch of froth on top. Cmon management!. Step up the training!. There used to be wonderful baristas here but they rarely work anymore. Pastries are good.Update: its back on track!. Great service. Skilled baristas. Excellent experience. Someone made some changes and they made the right ones.

Latte and the seating out there is amazing👌🏼

Food and beverage was good and the ambiance is really nice. Nonetheless, employees need to work on keeping the place in a better condition. Restroom was full of papers in the floor and dirty, including a fly inside it. There was also an ant walking near my table and empty tables haven’t been cleaned. Those are small details but the small details are those that differentiate good from excellent. Management should keep this in mind to maintain high standards.

I had a great smoothie and muffin. It was a comfortable atmosphere and a nice area.

Great coffee place. Has character, and feels much less corporate than Starbucks. Small almond milk latte was delicious, and only $3.15. I didnt have any food but the menu looks very nice. I wish there was one close to my office.

I had the most amazing coffee. It was an espresso shot with milk, sugar and cocoa​ powder (I think) blended together and cold. It was frothy and delicious. Probably the best coffee Ive ever had.

I just cant even with this place. I guess it is a lot cheaper than both We Work and Starbucks, its two main competitors in the laptop squatting commercial space. Every time I have set foot in a Nero out of desperation (can count on one hand), I felt like I had fallen into a horrible trap. Bad tasting coffee, generic offering, Id rather sit outside. Worst of all, they are spreading like wild fire. The folks working there seemed really nice, though, I hope its a good deal for them.

Not clean and service is horrible. They proceeded to hand me a chipped plate so I could cut my hand. Pressed sandwich was cold and I asked to get it reheated l. No apologies and rude staff. Cafe Nero quality needs some attention

I just fell in love of this place. The atmosphere is appropriate for studying and grab a coffee with a friend. The location in Brookline is one of the best places to walk in Boston surroundings.

Ive been coming to this location for a while now, and I absolutely love it! except for today, most of all the employees there are really nice and provide excellent service. Except for one employee, I do not know her name, but her customer service was not that great. We had asked her for a pistachio muffin, and she did not ask if we wanted it for here of to go. We had also asked for an iced beverage, and she made it hot. We later on proceeded to aske a vegetarian capris sandwich, and she gave us the chicken capris! Like come on!She was also swearing around the café, and saying the N word, which is absolutely horrid. There also appeared to be the employees sister and a friend hanging around, and they were absolutely loud and were swearing and just being absolutely obnoxious, I am pretty sure we were not the only customers annoyed. The employee also kept getting distracted by them, thus not being able to properly do her job correctly.Honestly, I was disappointed today. We have not had this issue here before. Hopefully this gets corrected somehow because we like to come here.

Just opened yesterday but the space is warm and the staff are welcoming. Great patio area with open windows and shuffle board table. Sandwiches run $8-10 which makes for a good lunch option, definitely cheaper than Tatte with still that euro-feel. Ill be back!

Bathrooms are clean. Service is great. The electrical outlets are abundant.

I had an amazing chocolate croissant and a latte at this place. I would say the croissant was above average, and way better than starbucks equivalent chocolate bread. The coffee was also very tasty. The staff was friendly and fast. The place in general had a peaceful atmosphere with lots of comfortable sittings and free WiFi which worked nicely. They provide a ticket that they stamp every time you purchase something and after some purchases theyll give you a free drink!

Coming here it feels home. because of the great staff and great manger Lorelta Esibi. I did not mind paying a premium.

Fantastic! Great atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, excellent and appetizing looking and some nutritious food options and best of all...super high quality coffee. Its how Starbucks used to be years ago, only much better. The neighboring Starbucks franchise is going to feel the burn of this new coffee joint steps away from their front door.

Nice coffee shop with decent prices and great atmosphere. It can be very crowded, however, so that it is sometimes hard to find a seat.

Clean place in Brookline. Wicked Cool menu with anything you need coffee-wise. Excellent staff. If youre in Brookline try this place out. Also feel free to do some work while you are enjoying your beverage or meal, laptops are welcome and you are not rushed to leave. Its a good community place and you will feel welcomed.

Ive been to several Caffe Neros and the folks behind the counter were polite, helpful, and quick. This one was no different. My only complaint is that their prices are fairly outrageous compared to competitors. They dont provide more than asthetic, but Jack up the price 30-40%. Still Id go again.

Hands down one of the best coffee and customer service interaction I have every had. A special shout out to the gentleman, with glasses for making one of the best cappuccino I have ever tasted. The only negative would be the new manager with the ponytail. He seems to be overly aggressive with the staff and conflicts with the peaceful ambiance of the space.

Crowded, tables are messy, bar clerks dont wear gloves, and there is no place to put dishes. Most sandwiches are super salty, & seating arrangements are uncomfortable. Good location.
