My Daughter had a pointe shoe fitting yesterday. The lady that helped us took her time to make sure that she got the right pointe shoes for my Daughters feet and was very knowledgeable. My Daughter had to of tried on atleast 6 pairs of shoes. She wanted to make sure that my Daughter felt comfortable in the pointe shoes that she chose. Very pleased with our experience and I definitely recommend!

Reasonably priced. Id give 5 stars, but as a first time customer, I was put off by the unwelcoming feeling I got. Dont touch anything!! Browsing for something?? Just want to look to get that special dancer in your life a gift?? Nope. They dont give you the chance. They want you to get what you need/want and get out. Im happy with the prices, but thats it. I dont know that Id be going back again. Depends on how desperate I am for something my daughter might need.

We went to Balera to get my daughter new jazz shoes and the girls working were super nice and knowledge! I found the prices of the shoes to be comparable to what I would spend online, and it was much nicer buying in person so that they could properly size her. Would go back again!

Well I guess weve had a bad couple of experiences compared to others.Very unhelpful staff, even on the phone when asking about my past orders, to know what Ill need for the next years, they went into super spy mode about MY order history items. In person purchase, not very knowledgeable, wouldnt help on sizing and was shown one choice only but turned out it was the wrong one when we got back to the team, the others girls were able to get the right ones on a different day. I wasted a 45 min. drive and our money. Maybe its just one young staff member that Ive been dealing with but Ill look for an alternative store or online from now on anyway.

I am an injured dancer who is fairly new in Wisconsin and was looking to buy some shoes just for barre work. At first I wasnt sure if they would have what I was looking for but I was completely impressed by their selection! They stock up to date trends in shoes and knew how to fit me perfectly which really was great for me. Merci beaucoup!

My daughter needed a pair of character shoes immediately. They had them in stock at a fair price and were willing to sell me two different sizes knowing that I would return the one pair that didnt fit.Friendly people and seems to be a well organized and stocked store.Im not a dancewear expert, but they were perfect for what I needed the day I stopped in.

Great selection of dance wear, shoes and accessories. They can also place orders. The prices are very competitive to buying online plus you get professional shoe fitting that you cant get online. Staff is very knowledgeable, good service. Also in a good location. Easy to get to.

My daughter just started Dance and Gymnastics so a friend refered me to Ballera for her gear. As soon as I walked through the door I had someone greeting me and she helped measure my daughters feet and got her fitted for a pair of jazz shoes within minutes. It was so nice since we are new in the world of Dance. The whole staff was friendly. We will definitely be shopping there for all our Dance and Gymnastics needs.

Small but cute store with a wide variety of items.I was shopping for a leotard and the woman that was working came up to me and suggested that I try looking in the large section. I get that sizes for dancers and ballerinas run super small but i felt that that comment was pretty unnecessary, especially since I ended up trying on a bunch of mediums that fit just fine

Ballera has really updated the store since taking over for TrepArt! Nice selection of pointe shoes, leotards (even for adults!) and fun gifty items. My one gripe with all dancewear stores is that Id love to see them carry more options for adults in the skirt department. Im just not a thin wiry teenager anymore.
