Broadcast Management Group purchased two new 100x box lenses for its Sports Production Division. That created a critical need for the tripods and heads to mount these box lenses on for an upcoming Hockey Game. BMG contacted Chadwick Conner at Allied Broadcast Group to see what they had in stock that could be shipped out immediately. They had two Vision 70 heads and two tripods that could be shipped out to the BMG Broadcast Center in Las Vegas the next day. Of course, this is during the worse winter storm that the country has seen in years and most of the delivery companies’ hubs were snowed in. BMG needed everything by the end of the week for a Saturday Hockey game. By Thursday, it looked like some of the equipment would not arrive until Monday. Once Chadwick found out about this, he instantly jumped on the phone with his UPS representative to see what could be done to expedite the delivery of this urgently need equipment. In the meantime, Chadwick told us to reserve the tripods and heads from a local rental house and he would cover the cost of the rental if our equipment did not arrive in time. Luckily, UPS was able to deliver the equipment on Friday, just in time for the Hockey game. Chadwick Conner and Allied Broadcast Group went the extra mile for us to make sure that we had a successful production.
