Severely understaffed, guess thats becoming normal these days. Better supplies of stock than at many other places. Joann Fabrics & Crafts has been a saving grace through the pandemic. Not only do they offer a great variety of fabrics, art supplies and more the customer service is top notch. The wonderful staff are well versed and are eager to assist their customers. Upon checking out your are reminded to check for coupons which is a great help in these uncertain times.

I like JOANN, Im there every chance I get. I can get the jewelry materials I need and they always have sales, so pretty much everything is a good bargain. If you like sewing this is the place to go to for every project. They also offer sewing classes if youre interested. Stop by and take a look, Im sure you will not walk out without buying something.By the way if you love painting thats a place be as well and stock up on your supplies.

Joanns is always a good choice for fabrics, especially fleeces in such fun patterns! This store is clean and organized very well. I asked the staff a few questions and they were very helpful in assisting me. There are ALWAYS coupons so dont forget to check that before the register!

Super helpful employee who taught me what types of fabric are best and how to sew them. She was extremely nice and looked like she loved working there. I dont think I could have sewn my silk matching pjs without her!

I would not go back to this location. The worker closed the gate as i approached, eventhough she knew i was about to exit, and would not let me exit. I told her i was handicapped and my car was straight out through that door. No respect for handicapped customers.

Wish they carried MORE of a yarn selection in aisles you can actually see. Could not find many large buttons either. Plenty of fabric! Need more of a selection of a variety of crochet hooks & knitting needles.

They no longer sell letter board products and primary and metalic paint there. It is a nice store. Public restrooms are outside the shop. No easy miter boxes sold here.

They have a great selection of material on stock with a friendly staff. I got what I needed. Better then shopping on line.

Why do I need an app and register for an account just to get the coupons? I find this very annoying. It took me a while to figure this out at the register and I didnt appreciate the cashiers impatience. I purchased at least $50 on this quick trip, next time Ill spend my money at Michaels instead.

Westgate mall: Lead associate was more concerned about being on a call with her manager than assisting me. Being VERY loud about how understaffed and unwillingness to pay for more staff. Got another associate to help me but was no help at all. On my way out 5 mins later the lead (still on the phone) asked if I was all set. I told her I realized her call was more important than assisting a customer. She actually said Im on a call with my manager! Didnt you see me take my phone away from my ear? When I first needed help, wouldnt a good clerk have told the person on the phone she had to go? Furthermore, why wouldnt the manager tell her to help the customer? I will not be back.

Staff were not helpful, I asked for assistance and was told that she would come help after the customer she was cutting fabrics for was all set. 15 minutes later I found that staff member just standing around. I asked for the item I was looking for, and when the selection of 3 measly styles were not what I was looking for, I asked if there was anything else that I could use to substitute. She told me to go to walmart or Michaels.

Im an artist however their prices are way to high and they dont work with a lot of other products to do wood burning or wood crafts and other things that some people would like. So, I guess its just for fabrics, painting ect. I wish they had more wood crafts as well

I love joanna. but this store is in the mall .and with a huge open doorway to the mall,it has a very noisy play area just outside the fabric dept where the door is . makes it hard to choose items because you just want to escape the screaching. it is like trying to shop in the middle of a busy playground

This store and employees not to informative on any questions I had about what I was looking for. Also find them to have limited quantity of items and the store very small and high priced. Can get same stuff in Michaels or AC Moore way cheaper. Actually think Ill just go online and get what I needed. I did get one product from Michaels before I went here and the same product in Joannes was $25.00 more THATS RIDICULOUS !! sorry but overall this was a disaster of an experience.

Pattern sales are awesome, but their fabric prices are very expensive....even when they are on sale.....however, the employees are super nice and go out of their way to help, which is why I gave them 4 stars instead of 3.

The employees dont come up go ask you for help like they did at A.C. Moore. The store looks well stocked enough, but theres never anyone at the registers when you need them, so youre just kinda left wandering until eventually a hiding employee notices and comes up to ring you up.Everytime I come here the store looks clean and yet messy at the same time lol. Like. From far away everything isnirganized and neat, but when you go up close to make a selection on a shelf, you notice everything is in disarray.The store itself is bright and smells good. I like to buy fabric to make headscarves. But a yard of plain bandage-type fabric costs $11-$13 a pop. Sooo expensive!

I ordered online to pick up in the store. Had I known it would take so long and I would also have a bad experience I would of just walked in the store and bought it. I put my order in at 9am and it wasn’t ready until 6pm THE NEXT DAY. Mind you they had everything in stock. Then I get to the cashier and tell her my name (because that’s how stores identify your order right?) apparently not. She flips her hand and huffs her breathe and goes “no! What did you order?” As she rolls her eyes. Do you pick up your order at Chipotle by telling them you ordered a burrito? No. So why would i pick up fabric at Joanns fabric by telling them i ordered fabric? Extremely rude, unprofessional, & an extreme lack of intelligence. She was elderly and annoyed that I wasn’t screaming so that her ears could receive the sound waves. She then tossed my bag of fabric on the counter instead of handing it to me and let me leave without any proof that I was the right customer. Anyone could of came in and picked up my order. I will not be using this service again. The store is great but If you want good customer service avoid this location.

Theyve gotten much better in here. Being a frequent shopper at A.C.Moore (when it was still around) & Michaels, just after they closed Westgates A.C.Moore, I decided to check out this Joanns not too long after they had first opened. At that time, this store was better suited as being called a sewing store than a craft store, as it seemed they had 60% fabrics, 30% yarn, & 10% pic frames & that was it at that time. BUT....I went in there today, (were now like 2 years after they originally opened this location), it can now properly be called a craft store offering everything from coloring utensils, pic frames, lids crafts, woodworking, tshirt making, fabric & dyed, beading & jewelry making supplies & tools, storage, seasonal decor and so much more! Much more similar to a Michaels store of today. Im glad, too, because Michaels pricing is THRU THE ROOF and Joanns HAS SO MANY BETTER PRICES, especially considering the area in which it is in....

Not to go to if you have a young toddler. The bathrooms are locked, which is understandable, its at the mall. Upon asking a staff if she could support me with keys, she explained there were only the two of them and the other staff was emptying the trash outside (There were only two staffs at the moment). She could only do so (getting me the other keys and looking at my toddler) after supporting the customer she is with already. I have no problem with the entire situation but the sassiness in her voice, the arrogant tone while explaining the staff situation, and lack of eye contact when she let us know that she will not attend to us now did it for me. Additionally she ignored us completly when we went the other way while I clearly let her know I will take my business elsewhere as well, no consiration or apologies nothing!! I will drive to another town to get the articles I need so I will never have to deal with this specific person lacking all the empathy in the world.
