I used them when I helped my mom downsize. The young guys that came to move everything (including taking items to their auction site and items for donation) made it SO EASY. They worked extremely quickly and carefully, were very pleasant and respectful during what has been a difficult time. I couldnt believe how easy they made the transition, completing it all in one day with almost no effort on my part. A truly amazing experience - I cant recommend them enough for helping seniors downsize!

I’ve been shopping at online auctions for five years and this is, by far, my fav. Honest—if they say it’s excellent, it is. If not, they’ll tell you what’s wrong. Organized and clean w help loading on Wednesday pick ups.The store connected to the auction house is a huge benefit. I normally shop there when I go to pick up my winnings. Nice & safe merchandise, especially upholstery, as they’re certified cleaners. You might pay more than other nearby auction houses but nobody beats their quality.

I have bought a few pieces of clothing and a beautiful China cabinet that one of the painting artists painted. I love this place!

Excellent resale furniture store with quality items. We found this store in 2019. Since that time we’ve purchased 2 Louis XV bergere chairs, a Louis XVI desk and a Louis XV cabinet server (yes I like French pieces). The prices are fabulous, staff is friendly and their inventory is constantly getting refreshed. This is a gem we will continue to frequent.

I really enjoy shopping here for clothes, they have great furniture but I think if them as a clothes plus place. They also move some products so its a place you can visit every few months and they will have new options for you. My only less pleasant note is that there is a bit of the La La Rue and Im not a fan. Otherwise great clothes, accessories, jewelry and great prices! They have pieces for $10 - $100.

This company is a complete scam they give you nothing for your items dont waste your time

The delivery men were excellent. They were knowledgeable about additional pieces I needed for my dryer. Im so happy with my purchases.

The store looks great. Every area is designed impeccably so that it not only looks good but you can also see all the products. Really gives you an idea of how you could use items in your own home.

The online auctions are a big scam. Dont do it. They say that it ends at at certain time but if they see that there are a lot of bidders, even if you clearly had the highest bid at the time of closing, they add more time so that they can get more money and someone can steal it from you. Disgusting!!! Never, ever again would I waste my time or even tell anyone about this place. Do yourself a favor and go to Facebook Marketplace and you will get what you are looking for at what they are saying they want for it and sometimes less; certainly not more.

The online auctions are easy to use and have a wide variety of great stuff. The store is set up so well, its just fun to wander through and look for treasure.The staff is always pleasant.

Transitional Treasures is a great re-sake store that is clean, has excellent furniture and accessories all displayed in cozy, well coordinated vignettes. There is a clothing side that is displayed better than many department stores. Well worth a visit as inventory changes regularly.

On the advice of a friend, I contacted Transitional Design Downsizing after my mother’s death. From the beginning of the process to the end, Nancy Sheeler was professional, calm and supportive. She made the process of cleaning out of my mother’s house so much easier! What seemed like a Herculean task became quite smooth thanks to her expertise.

Transitional Design is a fabulous place, we have used all aspects of this business from Design services to auctions and have had nothing but wonderful customer service and well priced clean products. They are honest, helpful and talented people. The merchandise in the store is always beautifully displayed and tasteful. It is so fun to go in around the holidays as the store just gets you in the mood to decorate!

I am very impressed with the compassion displayed by the employees at Transitional Design. Their primary focus is in helping people downsize-especially seniors. They will help with the decisions of what items to keep and what items to donate. If someone needs to move, their movers are very professional. What is unique about Transitional Design is that they also are a resale store, where items that cant make the move can find new homes, with the consignor receiving a percentage of the sale. The store itself is a destination! It is beautifully decorated with consigned items, with new items arriving all the time!! I love this place!

Transitional Treasures is a quaint little shop tucked away on broadview road. It has a wide variety of furniture from high scale to run of the mill. The prices are fair but of course you can run the gamble to see if the price goes down over time. It makes for a nice visit and walk around on a rainy day.

Love this retail establishment! It is stocked with unique, classy and practical merchandise, priced very reasonably and realistically. Every week there is new inventory, which will entice you to keep coming back. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Amazing place- Ive almost furnished my whole house from this place !!

Been a customer for the last couple of years. They are very professional and are very good to their customers. They are a real class act.

My first visit to this plaza store was very unwelcoming but I stayed for the great pieces and prices. Everything was laid out very nicely and I had planned to purchase several items.... But unfortunately could find no assistance the entire hour plus I was there. When standing at the register waiting, even the bell they tell you to kindly ring didnt beckon anyone. I thought I would give them another try today and had to prod a hello out of one lady, while the other one gruffly sondered about scowling at me. This time too, I had several items in mind to buy but when I was ready to purchase them I wasnt sure who worked here and who didnt and no one offered assistance so I left empty handed. Gruff scowling lady did make sure I left by poking her head out the shop door though. Im gone and dont worry, I wont be back a third time.

This organization was entrusted with collecting and reselling my parents estate. I had to ask multiple times for a signed contract. Upon collection of my folks belongings, I noticed numerous items missing from the inventory ... including a full living room set of sofa , chairs and coffee table -- not to mention a set of China, and a full kitchen of appliances and silverware I was assured they would resell. Upon questioning, the owner could not account for these items, and became defensive and dismissive of my inquiries. Clearly someone profited from these missing items, which I would have preferred to donate to charity like I did the vast majority of their estate. It is OFFENSIVE to think I was deceived and my parents items misallocated. I have photographic proof of these items in question. Do not use this organization which profits on the backs of the grieving, and then tries to shift responsibility a responsibility clearly their own.

Buyer beware! I purchased an item via auction and upon picking it up it did not meet my expectations. It was not in the good condition it was descried and also did not appear to be the material that was described online. Be advised you have to pay for these items in advance (its an auction---I get it) but you also have to sign for the item at the store before seeing it. I asked if I could use the $30 I had already paid for the item and transfer it to a store credit; the first person I asked stated he would need to check on that---so it obviously it wasnt an automatic no and it did not appear to be a store policy. Then an older female employee came over and condescendingly stated I could not transfer it to a store credit and overall she had a haughtiness about her. If it is their policy---ok, but clearly that was not communicated to all employees and while it may have been on the auction site, I do not recall reading that specific policy when bidding. The patronizing attitude of the female employee really turned me off. To make things more interesting, I posted a facebook review simply saying I had a poor customer service experience. They responded to my review saying, This appears to be a fake facebook user profile. Because I gave them a poor review, it MUST mean Im a fake account!?!?! The fact that they discredit my opinion simply because it was not in line with their own opinion speaks volumes. Again, their attitude of superiority and poor customer service shines through! To any of you who may shop there---I suggest you go to the store to view the online items before bidding, so you can ensure you are bidding on something you actually want. In the end, I left without my item (had no need for it in the condition it was in) and am out $30. Considering I was looking at purchasing a $1100 bedroom set prior to my interaction with the female employee, I find it laughable that they refused to give me a $30 credit. They did have some nice items in their shop----but the pretentious nature of just the one employee will result in me never returning. Ill make sure I tell my friends to do the same.

I recently helped my father downsize to a senior living facility. The owner Nancy was so understanding of his early dementia and parting with 50 years of accumulated things in his home. I felt he was always treated with dignity and respect. I so appreciated this service. I did not want to post items on craigs list and have strangers come to his home or have to ship items on ebay. The movers came to the house and removed the items agreed upon. They too were kind and very professional. Thank you transitional design for removing my stress and making the process so much easier.

Please do NOT patronize this business. They are taking advantage of vulnerable seniors. I had them walk the house based on the experience of the mother of a high school classmate. They estimated labor cost of $1200 ($50/he/person) for sales of tools between $2000-$2400 with my mom receiving $.50 on the dollar. That meant we could owe them $200. We did it ourselves, gave the majority of the power tools to family but still netted $2675!! Use Facebook Marketplace, eBay sold for pricing, and Thursday,Friday and Saturday estate sale. BTW if you live in Columbus OH, the going rate for tag sale is $0.35 per dollar sold and no labor. THIS ORGANIZATION IS STEALING from those elders who need the money for assisted living
