We have been to this diner often and have never been disappointed. Their soup tastes and appears homemade. Their “chicken fingers” are actual freshly breaded and fried chicken cutlets which are amazing. They use the same chicken for their Buffalo chicken tenders and for chicken Parmesan. Looking forward to our next visit!

Went here for a family birthday breakfast. Staff was super friendly. Food was prepared as ordered and arrived quickly. They also have a large selection of backed good to take home. Will definitely be returning.

An absolutely amazing place. Amazing service, beautiful interior and the food. The food was very well, I had the smoke house burger medium-well and it was very tender and juicy. All around a great place if your looking for burgers, seafood etc. And if your feeling a bit spicy, they have different alcohols to choose from! Very good place to eat with friends! Definitely recommended.

The food is okay but they are extremely overpriced. $22 for fish sticks, $14 for onion rings, $20 for an omelette, and $45 for a diner steak. Even for DoorDash those prices are outrageous! Who is willing to pay this. I could be wrong I feel like they raised their prices to this during the pandemic. I will never eat here again!

We stopped by after a long day in Philadelphia seeing several doctors. I had a grilled chicken sandwich with honey mustard sauce and let me tell you, it was one of the best sandwiches Ive had in a dinner in a VERY long time. Theyve come a long way since I used to deliver their milk orders back in the early 2000s.

This Diner was a nice surprise. One of the things that I found so interesting was the stoneware plates and mugs. These were generally a lot different than the usual plates and so forth that you would find at a diner. While they were nice to look at it must be rather difficult to the waitresses to handle. That being said the food was very good for diner fare. The waitress was pleasant and brought my food quickly. Ample parking and a convenient location as well.I hope to go back next time I am in the area.

Place did all those renovations to make the diner look better but took away the amazing food that use to make just ordered food from there and it was ice cold! Dropped the ball tonight for sure. Not the first time this happened.

As of June 13th, 2020 they are offering outdoor dining. However, they only have 6 tables, most are in the sun with no umbrellas and the noise from the extremely close traffic makes for a pretty unpleasant environment. Not to mention that there was only one waitress for all 6 tables. Im sure things will be better once you can dine inside again but for now its not working out to well. If you can handle loud, unruly kids, even louder parents on cell phones or just talking to anyone who will listen, a lot of fumes and noise from the traffic, and sitting directly in the sun while waiting way too long for service, you might enjoy yourself.UPDATE: We have returned 2x since the diner could offer indoor dining again and weve had a completely different experience. The staff are super friendly and the food is excellent. They offer more than the typical diner fare and their seafood options are excellent. Great prices, nice portions, and a complementary cheese bread to die for. Im so glad I didnt let my first experience here deter me from trying it again. Its now my favorite diner!

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. From the moment we walked in, while waiting, the Hostess was extremely rude to us, then ride to another worker (who later turned out to be our waiter). We felt more of a burden then welcomed. I’ve always liked to frequent the small diners vs the chains, but I will never go back here again. Our waiter “Eli” was so polite and very new. He was doing his absolute best and truly did a wonderful job. I gave him encouraging words all along the way. Not once did I have to wait for a drink or anything. Sadly the ?owner was sitting there the whole time staring at him which was clearly make him nervous. We were a party of 6. Upon him bringing out our food, a plate accidentally fell. We were fine with it. Things happen. He was so apologetic. We saw him go out back and get yelled at by the owner. It was clear he was offering him money for the broken plate to which the owner wouldn’t take. As we were leaving. The owner had him on the front entry way, terminating him, and making him empty his bag to make sure he didn’t have anything. (He didn’t). To treat an employee the way this establishment treated him is just awful. My family will never return and Eli, if you read this, thank you for your wonderful service and you are destined for great things!

Experience varies between a three-star and a five-star. Unfortunately theres little consistency in your meal depending on who made it and I guess what they think the recipe should be. My all time best meal here was so good that I went back 2 days later for the same thing and it was probably the worst meal that I had ever had in this restaurant. The pork was cooked totally different, the stuffing had different ingredients, one day the stuffing was perfectly cooked and the next it was like mush. The first day the pork was perfect and tender the second time it was overcooked and like shoe leather. Breakfast here though is always delicious but no one seems to know what well done home fries are lol. Their desserts are beautiful but eight out of 10 of them are made with the same type of whipped topping icing which I find artificial tasting. Anything without icing is fantastic. Their breads are fantastic. I have never had an unfriendly server. Ive had people here that being a server probably wasnt the best job choice but everyone is always friendly. The menu is huge and this restaurant is a solid choice for any time and are open 24 hours.

Our server, JT, was a hoot, super helpful, efficient, and really patient with my crazy dietary restrictions, which I really appreciated. The soups we got were good and the portions were ample, but the meats were a bit dry. Most of the prices were reasonable. The desserts and breads in the case by the door looked amazing. The menu was substantial with tons of options.

Best diner/restaurant in the area! Largest Diner around with a great selection, great staff, great food, large portions and decent prices. Their take out is just as good, with the highest quality containers and bags Ive ever seen. I go there often and Ive only had one mix up after some 60 times eating there, but its a restaurant, it happens. Theyre great and Ill always go there over other local places, when I dont want Chinese food.

My fiance and I stopped in for breakfast on a Sunday morning. After a short week we were seated. We both enjoyed the many choices on the menu. After deciding what we wanted it was a short wait before we received our food. We were very happy with our decision and would recommend to any of our friends to come by for breakfast. Look forward to having dinner sometime in the future.

This place lost its mind. $13 for an omelet? $14 for Buffalo fingers, fries are extra? $6 for a side of scrapple? Thats NOT a misprint. Food is good, not great. But am I in Disney or something? Theme park prices for Bristol Borough? Really bizarre pricing.

This is the first time my family and I have been here since the remodel and we were honestly disappointed with the food. Our server was wonderful and pleasant to talk to but the food was lacking. The bacon tasted off and I havent felt well since we ate. The prices also seemed to have gone up significantly. The rest of the food was okay but we probably will opt to go somewhere else next time.

Ordered a ham steak. It tasted sour, like it was past its expiration date. Two of us ate breakfast. We each ordered a drink. The bill was over $35. Not sure why it was so expensive, but it definitely wasnt worth it. No social distancing, and no one wore a mask.

Most amazing experience ever! They kept the table clean and kept our drinks full. The server was so sweet and friendly and made us feel so welcome! The food was not only hot but tasted so good! Best chicken parm we have ever had and Im a breakfast food lover so I got the deluxe breakfast combo and I swear it was better than Dennys! This is definitely a place we will be going back to!

Dine in 2 people.The gentleman at front I believe must be the owner. He is very cordial and keeps his eyes on all.The wait staff? Truly, It would be difficult to find any finer than the current wait staff.The food? Ive been here many times in the years past and loved it ... however, our recent visit was quite terrifying. Not only was the food really sub par, and pricey ... Myself, and the 6 others that dined with us barely made it to the bathrooms on our drive home. The only thing any of us had in common this day is that we ate here ... and we all got very sick to our stomachs after having dinner, grownups and young children! We also all ate different entrees which really had us scratching our heads. Definitely wont ever go back.

My experience was 0 stars because my server was rude. I understand that all servers are different, so besides that....This place will try to upsell you on everything. They charge $1.50 if you get a slice of cheese on your omelet. They also charge $.65 for onions in your home fries. A coffee costs $3.75, thats about $1 less than a small at Starbucks, and this was NOT starbucks quality.I estimate they will not make it much longer due to miserable management. Not one person was happy to be there. Save your money. The food is just not as good as the amount they take for it.

I love the original golden eagle. Its a shame that it put pressure on them from the scamdemic. The scamdemic did this to thousands of restaurants and small business owner. But lets hope the original Golden Eagle stays in business for a long long time. Awesome food awesome place. Except they need to get rid of them rounded arm chairs. They are so uncomfortable. But everything else is awesome !

I wish I could leave zero stars.....We ordered breakfast food for dinner this evening (Mother’s Day) as a treat. We drove 20+ minutes each way to pick the food up and bring it home to eat. When we started eating we noticed that our two orders of French toast were burnt and tasted like a dirty, greasy, grill. The pancakes had an odd taste of coffee mixed with the dirty, greasy grill flavor. All told we spent over $45 dollars - $28.00 for three breakfast items and $17.00 in the bakery. For that price I expect very good food- which has always been my previous experience with Golden Eagle Diner. But, not this time!When I called the Diner to complain and get a partial or full refund, the “manager” told me to bring all the food back or she couldn’t help me. No, I am not driving another 40-45 minute round trip to return some trash food. She said i am sorry I cannot help you - AND THEN SHE HUNG UP ON ME.I felt like she was calling me and my family liars- which we are not. We do not want FREE food - just asking the Eagle Diner to make it right.They have lost us as good, long standing customers.

Okay so that’s went to this place a few times . I enjoyed the place until the last time I went there . Oh boy get this I got the deluxe breakfast combo and everything was fine. Then I got to the French toast … it tasted like a dead mouse. I told the staff and he said he would take a look at it then asked me if I wanted a replacement. Never offered a refund there really dirty here . Do not eat here it’s very dangerous and unsanitary they should be shut down .

I WAS a regular...The waiter made a mistake, and my friend who I was dining with, had to pay an extra about 50% on his bill because of that.I work in the food industry myself, and I learned that keeping the regular customers is far more important than an extra $7.We discussed it at the end with the cashier, and he explained that the waiter was new. When I make a mistake in my work place, I pay for it, NOT the customer. My friend started walking away, rightfully so, and the cashier chased him out and took pictures of him and his car and license, muttering something about a $300 ticket when the police get involved.I only hope they doing some maturing.

My fiance and I had awesome steak dinners from this place at like 3:00 in the morning and their desserts were on point I mean on point like dont cut your finger on point you know what I mean? LOL

Lost power one night and went in search of a meal in the middle of the night. 3am in this place was amazing, and the service was better than most of the high class places that Ive been. Not once did I have to ask for a refill or for a finished platter to be removed. Im not very cultured so I didnt catch my waiters name because of his accent but he was incredible. You may not get the same waiter but even the cashier seems to have the same enthusiasm for this restaurant so it shouldnt matter. For real, put the phone down and go!

Everything I had was delicious. Soup, salad, food, and turkey and crab cakes. A+. Plus the service was great too.

Food was standard diner fare. They revamped the menu a few weeks ago. A lot of food choices. My biggest issue is the prices. Inflated would be an understatement. It may be me but $13 for a club sandwich with 11 french fries (they put them in a cup on the plate) is a little over the top. The sandwich was typical for any diner or pub/bar. Nothing more.Id save your money and find another diner to try.

Hit or a miss it depends on the day, time and who is working. Not the worst though. Their cheese bread is amazing 75% of the time. A few times we’ve asked for it and it wasn’t made properly. They added dill to their lettuce which is a nice surprise to the salads.

Really wish i could add zero stars. Santiago (Night-time Manager) was very rude and disrespectful to my fiancé. We had order our food via phone and by the time we had picked our order up he let 6 people in front of us and our food had been ready. Meanwhile we traveled hours to come get the food just to have him tell us that we couldnt even get our food. Hes very disappointing for him to be a manager and really needs a proper training on how to handle his customers respectfully. Will never eat here again.

Food is great! But I order from here everyday day and there is always an issue with my food. It’s never made the same and there’s always a discrepancy. Very disappointed as was visiting family. Our waiter, toro, came back to me after I handed him a $20 bill to change for tip and he came back telling me that my bill was play money?! I proceeded to tell him that was not my $20 bill and he said hold on and let me check again??? He did come back and apologize saying that I was right. I believe realizing he was caught in the scam! Very crooked and will NEVER return! Sad they would try this scam?!

The newly renovated restaurant has really updated its identity. Modern booths, new exterior, pleasant & helpful staff, bar clean, orderly, new menus, generous portions, hot and best of all it was great. Had the sauteed chicken soaked in a special Jack Daniels sauce with onions and mushrooms that cut with a fork, it was delicious. My better half has the seafood trio over rice, it too was mouth watering. Their warm cinnamon & cheese breads were umm umm good and melted in your mouth. I would highly recommend this establishment. We thoroughly enjoyed.

Really uncomfortable ambience/energy in this place. My family and I went here around midnight on a Tuesday for a bite to eat after a nice family gathering. The manager/hostess (a guy with a comb over and glasses) had a bad attitude toward us immediately and a strange vibe. He was hollering at our waitress constantly AND while she was using the bathroom and she was sweating since before we got there and appeared overworked and overwhelmed. (The diner was not busy at this time at all) She did a fine job and our food was made well. However, something just felt wrong and my whole family sensed it. My grandfather wanted to leave before we were even seated. There is something wrong here and the workers there come off bizarre. There was even a guy that oddly approached us at our table asking what we were doing there, if we were bored, and that he didn’t work there for the record even though he was dressed as a server... and most of the employees kept entering the restrooms multiple times. Really unsure what to make of this visit

Good food at a decent price and open 24 hours. Take out is another great option that is quick and convenient if you dont want or have the time to sit down. Front dining room and outside were recently renovated, but the large rooms off to the sides could use an update.

I will never ever go to this place again we had to wait 15 minutes in order to someone to take our order we got our food my potatoes were not done the cream chipped beef was Blaihhh got over easy eggs and they weren’t over easy I had to flag down the waitress just to get my check so I can get out of there. Got home and me and my wife was sick for the rest of the day.

They messed up my pickup order. I clearly said I would like a CHEESEBURGER DELUXE and they gave me a BASIC BURGER WITH NO CHEESE! With a side of fries. Philadelphia diners are better. Maybe better staffing would be nice.

Been a favorite of mine for many years. New renovation design looks to be amazing when finished. Food here is always served fast, hot and fresh. Breakfast, lunch, dinner all equally good. Servers are all pleasant and make sure youre happy with your meal and fix any issues without fuss. Ive loved coming here as a kid with my dad, brought college friends here after a night out and now I take my kids here too when we want an excellent breakfast at a fair price. My son says their breakfast sausage is the best hes ever tasted. A 5 star diner if there ever was one.

It was okay for what it was. Portobello was mush, almost like a can of cat food. The coleslaw was a bit nasty. But what made it nice was the clean tables, good drinks, and pleasant staff.
