In May of 2021, I went to the Verizon in Bristol to switch from Sprint to Verizon because of a promotional they were offering. The promotional said if we brought our own phone, picked unlimited and had at least two lines, we would get two e-cards worth $450 each. I specifically asked if the cards could be used anyplace like other gift cards. The manager at Verizon assured me that I could. After about two months I received the e-cards only to find out that I could only use them online to purchase items from Verizon. I was also told by another agent that the e-cards could be used anywhere. I tried to reach out to Verizon by phone and chat. I was put on hold for over an hour. Never did get in touch with them. So very disappointed in Verizon and there policies. Will probably drop Verizon after I redeem my cards. I will be sure to spread the word

This is by far the worst Verizon store in the tri-cities area. It didn’t used to be the case when actual competent people worked there. I had a simple request of upgrading two devices and it turned into a nightmare. The sales rep, Wally, worked forever and ever trying to get the product to work, even telling me they had it in stock, only to find out that they would have to ship it. I stayed in the store for a good hour while they tried to figure out how to add two lines. They didn’t even get that right because only one of the numbers showed up on my account. I spent an hour and a half talking to Verizon by phone after receiving the devices and they didn’t even know what the people at the store had done to mess it up so badly.I returned to the store when I was off work again to return and cancel the devices. They told me about an outrageous stocking fee, for a device that wasn’t even a phone. Ridiculous. I was told to call Verizon yet again so they could fix the store’s problem they had created. If they had just shown a little bit of interest and care about their mistake then I wouldn’t be so upset. I won’t be going there again because I changed my service to another carrier and am much happier. I guess they don’t care about losing business from someone who had been with them for two decades.

They told me lies one after another. The worse part it was the managers. I had already called the Verizon Corp an they told me what I could get on up grade an the deals. Went on Friday night they told me the same but I would have to take another line out to get the deal it was a lie Gave me a wrong phone number on the wrong phone went back on Saturday they told me my husband could not get that deal after Friday night he could the story goes on an on caught them in more lies so I was told by Corp to return everything they would fix it an give me the deals they promised. Sure enough they did. They said they was wrong at that store cause it’s all on our plan. Never will I go back there. They need trained again or quit padding there pockets. I have the proof of it all my granddaughter was with me an taped all of it

The girl who helped me seemed nice, however when asked if I wanted Verizon protection on my phone I specifically said NO I’ve never had it and I don’t need it. Well, guess who just got their bill with the Verizon protection charge on it? Yeah, it was me! This store is shady and does stuff without your knowledge. I will not be back and future customers, you should save your time and go to a different store.

I understand with the covid deal everyone has rules and regulations.After spending 15 to 20 minutes in my car and knowing 2 or 3 more people were in the front of me I went to let them know I had decided to come back later.The fellow who came back to the door started to tell me they had regulations and I explain to him I understood that.I then ask for a business card because all I had was a question. He said yeah we have them but it would just ring cause the phones had been cut off. What a Verizon cell phone place had no phones.Also there were 2 or 3 guys sitting at the desk one could have easily answered my questions.I guess I will be going to a different location.Again a cell phone place with no phone. I would hope Verizon Corporation would get in touch with me

Didnt go to this site. But I have been to the store in Bristol Virginia on gate city highway. The assistance was provided. They didnt have the Samsung Galaxy fold at the store. Verizon had been advertising. They were giving a $1000 for your trade in of your damaged phones. So I am very disappointed with this service because it gives me false sense of getting the phone off my choice.

On July 30 2020 I went to the local Verizon office and wanted to pay off my grand-daughters phone to give her a nice surprise and help her out. Travis S. waited on me and had me call my grand-daughter and get her pin number and phone number. Travis wanted to know which phone was to be paid off the green or red one as my grand-daughter was sharing an account with her friend, hence the green phone was my grand-daughters and the red phone was the friend. I told Travis the green phone was to be paid off not the red as that was her friends phone. The charge was $633.27 so I used my credit card and paid it off.Upon leaving I saw that Travis had paid the money on the wrong phone and I went back in and explained the error. Travis said he could do nothing to help me but I could call Verizon and file a dispute. I filed and my grand-daughter received a call back a couple days later saying they could not do the transfer back to her friends phone as I had stopped payment at the credit card company.The next bill my grand-daughter got she was required to pay the $633.27 plus her regular phone bill in full and Verizon would do nothing to help us. This in effect paid off her friends phone and left my grand-daughters phone not paid off. I paid $500.00 toward the phone and a couple weeks later the grand-daughters phone was cut off.Verizon then said she must pay the amount owed on her phone and the bill in the full amount of $824.00. I gave her the money to pay off her phone so she could get her phone turned back on. Such a gross dis-service to my grand-daughter. The callus nature of the company has kept me from switching to Verizon.Thanks for nothing Verizon.

Ive been with Verizon for a little over 2 years,I had 2 phones and 2 lines and a tablet, the first year bill I was paying on 4 lines 3 phones and a tabletI purchased, I only had 2!! They refunded me 400.00, then last year I purchased 2 sets of beats headphones and a phone case, they sent me 2 headphones the case and a 400.00 camera that I sent back, they also charged me for 3 sets of headphones not 2 which makes them owing me 650.00 this had been 6 months ago with no refund at all! Now I have 3 phones and 3 lines, 1 of the phones is paid for but they are still charging me for it??? And my phone bill is always over 400.00 and have had it go up to 700.00 THIS IS TOTAL BS!!!!! Not to mention how many hours Ive sit on the phone trying to get this straightened out. Also the people Ive had contact with have have any brains at all.

Staff was friendly BUT, after checking to see if a certain phone was in stock they told me I had to go online and order a phone because they were to busy. (Thus being the reason I came in the store in the first place) then I found out theyre now permanently out of the certain phone I was looking for. Not very happy with Verizon at the moment.

Great place to come during the day but avoid coming at least an hour before they close because clearly they want to leave. My last visit was not a great experience. Upgraded my phone and of course had questions, I get told to call customer service. Really? Not a way to treat a customer, I would have left at that point but my phone was already activated.

Theyll happily sell you the phone, but wont bother to set it up for you. Theyre too busy trying to sell you peripherals and extras then get you out the door so that they can make their next commission. They dont take responsibility for their failure to do their job and will go as far as insulting and blaming employees at other Verizon stores for your problem. Whats the point in buying a phone from a store like this if theyre not going to bother making sure it works before you walk out the door? You might as well just order it online, where youre guaranteed the color and everything you want, where there arent pushy employees only out to sell you more things.

Also I called about a situation earlier two weeks ago and got no satisfaction. After speaking to a lady for several minutes was told Id have to. Go online to finish. Just tell me that up front. One of the better Verizon stores in the area. Not perfect by any means but the last time I purchased a phone here, the employees were helpful in keeping my unlimited plan and moving upgrades around (several years ago). Now I stay away from any physical Verizon stores and only buy phones from manufacturers to avoid any unexpected plan changes or upgrade/activation fees.

I went to the Exit 7 Verizon with an unusual dilemma of trying to find my not so tech savvy mother (who lives 600 miles away) a new iPhone and also an Apple Watch to aid her if she falls due to bad health.Before going to Exit 7 Verizon, I called a Verizon store in her state and explained my situation and they let me know first thing that the only thing they would help my mother with was explaining the new features on her phone after she activated it herself.As soon as I was greeted at the door at the Exit 7 Verizon I was asked how they could help me and when I explained the situation and circumstances, Jason and another employee (I’m so sorry I didn’t catch his name), went above and beyond anything I could have expected!Not only did they explain how the Apple Watch would work in the event of a fall, they also went above and beyond and set the iPhone and Watch up for my mother so she will only have to do the very minimum to start using them. They even installed the contact numbers of close family for me so that she wouldn’t have to. They boxed everything up and will ship it to her.Again, I want to thank the employees at Exit 7 Verizon for making a stressful situation so much easier! You will definitely always have my business! I visited this store with 2 small children and in a huge hurry. The man who helped me did not speak good English. By the time I left I had purchased several very expensive things that I would not have had I not been distracted and in a hurry. I feel that the sales associate took advantage of the situation, seeing I was distracted and knowing I couldnt understand him. I am paying for all of the things he duped me into buying (it was all put on my bill) but only because I feel silly for allowing this to happen. Lesson learned, ask lots of questions and dont go to a store like this with children or in a rush.

We had Verizon for thirteen years. Great service. Decided to up date our phones. Was told several things that we did not desire. Went back and discussed problems with person I talked with, was told that the problem would be taken care of. Was a lie. Cost me over Three Hundred dollars. I moved our service to another provider. the person still works at Verizon, after I filed my complainant with Verizon.

Every time I went in they where always helpful. Thought about switching to prepaid phone which was still with Verizon and the guy was really rude and might as well through the phone back at me. So based on that one experience we no longer use Verizon. Didnt really understand why he would put down a phone his company produced. All he had to do is simply give advice and talk to us about the decision we where making. But instead he put down his own company and forcefully pushed our phone back to us. Never will go back .

Rep Sarah helped me activate my Moto G5 plus phone that I purchased from Amazon and she was great. I felt guilty not buying a phone or anything from her but that is Verizons fault for being so expensive with their plans and having terrible overall customer service. I might switch to another carrier soon but Sara and Bob may have convinced me to stay with their rip off company for a while. BTW, this is a Verizon corporate store.

The quality of customer service I have experienced in the last 6mo is terrible.I was having technical difficulty and tech support suggested that I go to a corporate store to further assist my issue. I was met with the look of why are you bothering me.David was very unwilling to fulfill my request, and when he asked Bob his opinion (which agreed with me) David reluctantly did follow through.The employees dont care about their customers. It seems to me that the only customers they want are the elderly and less informed. This allows the employees to bully the customers into the easiest option.My brother was so fed up with the lack of effort when we has buying a new phone he left this corporate store and went to an authorized retailer.I hope the manager can turn this store around. Its just sad.
