Im sure you know trying to anything during the recent health crisis has not been easy let along having to replace a car, we went to see Mark a few weeks earlier and saw a truck we were interested in but at the time the cost was to steep. As we looked around further we kept coming back to this truck as Mark and Bristol Auto Center really let us inspect and fully look at the truck even taking the initiative to place it on the lift for us to fully inspect the undercarriage which no other dealer did. When it came time to negotiate after a few weeks where he was closed do to all going on he was fair but was looking for the best price he can get as I was looking for the best deal, something I truly respected as I dont like being run around. The delivery was quick to as with practicing social distancing we did most of the closing over the phone and just signed the papers and went on our way with the new truck. I would recommend Mark and Bristol Auto Center to anyone looking for a quality used car and with that would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

I bought a car here back in February. They had a car in stock that I had been looking for, and I stumbled upon this hidden gem. I contacted Mark and a day later I went down to view the vehicle and test drive. There were little things that had to be repaired before I took it home, and Mark even put it up on the lift for me to look over. Everything was fixed the next day. He made the overall buying process easy and smooth, and I drove the car home within 2 days of finding it! I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Coming to Bristol Auto Center was my second stop after viewing a 2015 Honda Pilot down the road at another dealership (That Honda Pilot’s carpets smelled terrible) I decided to leave that place (Jazzi....) My second choice was my better choice. I received more than fair pricing and Mark was very knowledgeable about the vehicles in the lot. So long story short; I had a pretty bad accident that caused a lot of damage. Petre worked with my insurance so that I didn’t have to have my car totaled #1 and #2 he took care of the job in an awesome amount of time, made it look better than when I bought it with the extra care of detailing the interior, buffing the head lights, and made it all in all a lot less of a big deal than it was. I purchased a jeep compass from the owner Mark, on 7/31/20. I have to say I was very impressed. I was browsing online and saw a jeep that I liked. I called at the last minute to enquire about it. I spoke to Mark and he was very courteous and kind over the phone. It was late in the evening and I live an hour away from Bristol auto center. Mark told me that I can still come to the center, he would wait for me even though the shop was closing. Ive never been to Bristol before, but we drove to Bristol to check the car out. I was so happy I went. The car was priced fairly, it was clean and well kept. The oil change was done, good tires , all the cars on the lot was well kept. The entire place was clean. I can tell Mark takes pride in his work by his approach and how the cars were kept with safety being his number one priority. He is very knowledgeable, polite and very patient. I bought the car that same evening. I felt good about my purchased knowing that it is safe and dependable. The atmosphere was so different from other dealers, he was not pushy or trying to rip me off. The entire process was very smooth. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND MARK. I purchased a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe with low mileage from Mark. He was very informative and truthful when explaining the work he had done to the car. It runs amazingly and Im very happy with this purchase. After driving for a while, i noticed the brakes were squeaking. Mark told me to come in and he replaced the brake pads free of charge. If you are looking to buy a used car I would strongly recommend checking out Bristol Auto Centers!

Great place to service your car. My jeep had leaky exhaust manifolds, these guys got the job done quick and without issues. Most shops in the area wanted outrageous labor charges, a couple shops even turned me away as the job is far from easy in these jeeps. Peter and his crew were honest and confident through the entire repair. Thanks to them my jeep is running great! I will for sure be using them in the future.

I recently purchased a vehicle from Bristol Auto Center and the transaction was easy and painless. Alex was pleasant and not pushy at all. After bringing the car home I notice a strong gas smell and brought it back a few days later. Even though this was an “as is” purchase they took care of the issue promptly and without taking advantage of the fact they didn’t have to do anything. All in all I would recommend both the sales and the service sections of this business.

I’m a travel nurse and I just drove 1,000 miles to CT and noticed my car needed work on the alignment and was making weird noises when I got here. I looked up the highest rated repair shops near me and thank god I found this one!! I’ve always gone to chain repair shops and never have I received the quality of service I got at Bristol Auto Center!! They were very kind and explained everything and didn’t try to invent problems that weren’t there. The pricing was very fair and my car now runs great!! I wish there were more places out there like this. I will definitely be going back there to have my tire maintenance done before I leave!!

I have gone to Bristol Auto Center to have my car serviced on several occasions now. The outcome is always the same. The quality of service is great, as well as their customer service. They care about their customers, and take the time to explain what is wrong with the vehicle. I’m not great with cars, and never once felt like I was being misled to pay more like I have with other places. Much like a barber or any other profession, once you find someone that does quality work, it’s relieving to know that you are in good hands. If you are in need of someone honest, give them a shot. You won’t be disappointed.

Shady!! Shady!! Shady!! I went there to buy a car everything was good until the financing came back with a high interest rate. So I went and got my own financing for the agreed amount when I went to buy the car the sale price had changed to a higher amount to make up for the difference in lost interest charges the funniest part was he tried to tell me it was my fault for not catching his mistake when he entered the incorrect amount into his computer. Classic sales tactic by a shady sales man that gets kick backs from loan origination fees and adding interest rate points to the buy rate of the loan to put extra cash in his pocket. I would watch out for Mark this is why used car sales men get a bad rap.

Ive been looking for a car for a while and ended up choosing an Audi from the Bristol Auto Center. Shopping for a car as a single girl is intimidating and I found these guys to be straight forward, reasonably priced and not sketchy. They were thorough with explaining the cars history (Book value, car fax, accident history-or lack there of), showed me the body, explained the motor and all the fancy dials, put it on a lift for me to see the underside and did an oil change and alignment prior to me taking it off the lot. Great dealership to work with. Highly recommended.

****1 day after posting the following review on a few other sites, I received a call from Alex, mentioning my wife (by her full, maiden name) had inquired about a vehicle. Her name was not on any of the paperwork I had completed for the purchase of the car, so this seems a bit fishy. Also, he had called me on my cell phone from his work cell phone, of which we have had a number of conversations (calls and texts) prior, so he knew exactly who he was contacting (not my wife).... I had also posted this review before on this website, but can no longer find it on their list of reviews...A week into the ownership of the vehicle, the rumble got worse (even with the new tires). Mark offered to take another look at the vehicle. Since he couldn’t replicate the issue, nothing was done, though he did explain his inspection of the systems of the vehicle. He graciously offered a vehicle from his lot as a loaner while he looked over my vehicle for any signs of an issue.A week after this inspection in which nothing was found, the issue arose again. Mark gladly looked over the vehicle again at his earliest convenience, once again offering a vehicle from his lot as a loaner while he looked over the vehicle again. Nothing was found, but researched some codes and potential issues. At this point, he made it very clear I had purchased a used vehicle and it was sold as-is.Two weeks after the last inspection (I had gone on vacation and didn’t drive the car for 5 days), the air suspension fails to lift the vehicle to the proper ride height, which is now a safety problem. I called Mark to update him on the status of the vehicle, to which he irritably reconfirms I had purchased a ¬¬used vehicle and I purchased the car as-is, and once again scolded that every problem is now MY problem. He was once again frustrated with my unrealistic and unruly request for him to do more work, mentioning how he hasn’t charged me for any time or attempt at a repair since I had purchased the vehicle. Noting the Used Car Warranty from the CT DMV, this “good faith effort” was really only 1 year removed from a mandatory inspection and repair at no cost. If he was to go by that concrete miss of the warranty for the vehicle age, Mark really wants to cut corners. Mark is outraged by my constant request for inspection and repair. On the other side, think how I feel as a customer, purchasing a vehicle that requires me to bring it to a shop more times in 2 months than I had brought my old vehicle of 7 years. How do you think I felt: loss of time, coordinating drop-off and pick up, time of my research to better understand the problems at hand and focus my description of the issues when speaking with Mark? As he may have “lost” time and money from his inspections and the value of a loaner car (which wasn’t accumulating any value had I not been offered to me), I certainly have lost time and money of my own, requiring me to take time off from work to fit their shop hours as well as everything else stated above.Upon inspection by Papa’s Dodge, they note significant work done to the air suspension system but points to a blown air suspension control module. Once the module was replaced, the air compressor then had to be replaced. All in all, $4,500 of repairs required for a vehicle I had JUST PURCHASED TWO MONTHS AGO!!!! Through the first two months, I was able to safely drive my vehicle for 40% of the time, 60% of the time the vehicle was in a shop getting inspected.If I had to suggest anything, I would suggest purchasing your car elsewhere. Mark and Alex were very nice at the forefront, but when things started to not meet my expectations (of an operating vehicle), our relationship turned from cordial to completely sour. The lack of responsibility of the work he had completed on the vehicle prior to the sale is completely unacceptable, mentioning that it must have been something I had done to cause all this.

I recently purchased a Murano from Mark who was very honest and accommodating. The buying process went smooth and I was able to leave with the car within a couple hours. Within a few days the check engine light came on so I stopped by the shop. I was assured by Mark that he would take care of whatever the issue was, and he was able to get the car in to be worked on at my earliest convenience. Mark and his crew worked as quickly and diligently as they could and ended up having to replace the head gasket, obviously a large expense. Everything was done at absolutely no cost to me. More places should aim to be as good as Bristol Auto Center. I have visited many, many dealers, and this was the best customer service. They scheduled an appointment with me outside of normal hours and were extremely accommodating and respectful.

I purchased a 11 Volvo XC60 R-Design from Bristol Auto Center on 01/19/2019. I was in search of the right XC60 and found it here. I drove in from Vermont and had been in contact with Mark throughout the week; he worked with me over the phone and email to discuss a deal and when I saw and drove the car in person, the transaction went smoothly. From the beginning, Mark made sure that the car was in ready-to-sale condition. No gimmicks, just straight to the point! Before visiting Bristol Auto Center, other vehicles at various used car dealerships needed some obvious work done to them (new tires, rotors, etc.). I have poor credit due to medical bills and Alex did whatever it took to get me in my car at payments I wanted! He busted his butt to help me get in the car as quickly as possible and helped me hurdle over any road blocks that we happened upon. I know I was a pain in the butt because I was stressing out over how I was going to get to work and he put my mind at ease without making me feel bad for being a pain. His father did all sorts of work on the car I bought and made sure I wouldnt have any issues any time soon. The car runs wonderful, like a dream! Definitely recommend them! 5 stars!!!

We recently bought a truck here and had a great experience. Mark, the co-owner, even brought the truck to our mechanic to have it checked out. Mark went out of his way many times to get this sale completed, even after unforeseen issues at DMV. I would highly recommend him as an honest person to buy a vehicle from.
