Bowen was recommended from a friend. Dropped off and the carburetor was ready the next day. Wow!!! When it was installed (by me) the vehicle started up perfectly. Just a few minor adjustments and my 442 is running better than it ever did! Thanks Bowen Automotive!!!

Old school shop. Brought two carbs in for a rebuild. They put them on an in-house engine. 1 carb ran fine. 1 needed a rebuild. What shop today is that honest? They could have easily told me both needed to be rebuilt. Will definitely be bringing them more work. 👍

Amazing work. I couldnt keep my 1970 Mercury running. I brought the carburetor to Bowen. They rebuilt, tuned and tested it. I just bolted it back on and the car runs perfectly! Even the choke/cold start works the way it should.

My Big Block Mopar Carter 4 bbl looked brand new and performed 100% right out of the box after rebuild. Hard to find good small shop service like this anymore in the United States. Very reasonable prices and quality service matched by no other I have ever experienced.

I had the carb for my 56 BelAir rebuilt there about 2 years ago and have never had an issue with it. When got it home and took it out of the box, it looked like a piece of jewelry it was so clean! Great job guys!

I had a Holley 600 carburetor rebuilt for my 69 Donzi boat about a year ago.I spent approx $250.00. I didnt install it until about 6 months ago because the 351 Ford engine was being rebuilt. I dont know how they even let it out of the shop. The accelerator pump wasnt even in contact with the linkage and cam lobe that activates the accelerator pump. You had to advance the throttle half way before the accelerator pump would even begin to activate. The engine would just bog down. I had to adjust the linkage myself in order to get it to work right. I couldnt take it back to them because I moved the boat to Florida. Just took the carburetor into another shop for a second rebuild. The bowl empties out into the intake manifold when the engine sits for more than a week. I am very Frustrated and disappointed to say the least. I just spent another $261.00 for the second rebuild. Between the two, I could have almost purchased another carburetor. The reason I didnt go back to them to fix the problems is because I took the boat to Florida and couldnt easily get it back to them.
