I love this store! Every time I go shopping here, I am treated with respect and kindness. I brought my elderly mother in to shop the other day, and I walked up to the checkout counter to inquire about a coupon that was offered. The sweet young lady explained everything clearly and even went over to get a cart for us. As my mom and I walked around the store, another couple of employees asked if we needed anything. Thats great customer service! Having been in the retail business most of my life, I appreciate shopping in a place that not only has integrity and high standards---but they have a great selection of clothing at an affordable price. Thank you, JCPENNEY of Brighton---for being that place!

Signs and internet stated open at 10:00 a.m. many customers waited for them to open at 10:00. Finally at 10:20 an associate came to the door to let customers know they actually opened at 11:00. They definitely need to update their opening time on internet and doors.

Very clean, helpful staff, not too busy. Not a ton of stuff in the home section, which is basically nonexistent. Each department is quite small. The Sephora is also lacking, but again, very friendly and helpful staff.

I like this JCPenney. Very clean, plenty of parking. I typically buy online, have it shipped here to pick up. The area it is located is growing very slow. Could use more staff working.

Sephora has taken down all the samples due to COVID. Instead a sign says to ask for assistance for all products displayed. I asked one of them for help on a new product they have. I asked for a sample and she said they are not doing that either due to COVID, so I asked about the product. Her response was just reading off the name of it, she blatantly said it is a face cream that has banana in it. She did not know anything beside that. How can I buy products Im not familiar with due to COVID if the sales lady cant even be helpful.

Always clean. Employees at the register are always friendly. Sales floor people cant be found and if seen they dont speak to you. Clearence items should be marked down much more! 48.00 Reg price on an item marked to 33.00 nope.

I am wondering when JC Penney will be out of business. Shelves in disarray, many with no stock at all, almost no employees on staff. Truly is sad.

Not a very good selection of size in the womans clothes. Great selection of baby clothes. Mens are over priced. Still sad that they dont make stylus jeans any more.

I rated JCPenny a five because it has everything one would expect when visiting this location, from great parking for handicapped and non handicap people, including parking up front, entry into the build, and restrooms which accommodate everyone.The staff is quick to acknowledge everyone at the entrance and throughout the store.There is always great sales throughout the store, and great products which you cant always find other places.The location is easy access to I-76, and also hotels, restaurants, and clothing and specialty stores, as well as new housing going up all around.Across highway I-76 sits Barr Lake State Park, and nearby is the Adam County Courthouse, and the Hospital.

I really like this store. Its clean, it has a great selection and reasonable prices! I hope they stay open♡

Jcpennys is not what it used to be. All the cloths rip at the seems and get little holes all along the shirts after a few washes. I only shop at that store for Sephora, and even that is way over priced any anymore. All and all not really worth it.

Had a good experience here. Went with my mom and she wanted to go to the salon, we had an uncertain schedule due to having to wait to pick up the car from the shop and they squeezed her in. They didnt have to but they went above and beyond to try to accommodate us.

JCPenney is fine but there portrait studio upset me. Weve had an appointment scheduled for months for the end of August and Ive tried to confirm with them and I could never get through. So I decided to drive there and it turns out that they havent been open for quite some time. They didnt even call me to let me know or reschedule somewhere else. Sherry, an employee at JCP, gave me a couple numbers to call to figure something out 🤷‍♂️ Well see how that goes.Update: I called the number, spoke to a representative and turns out our session is still going as scheduled. That makes me happy but I think this is a good coaching opportunity for them. Communication and customer service!

Ordered on-line for curbside pick-up but mo answer on phone line when I pulled up. Had to go in. I really like the curbside pick-up, the process just needs a little tweaking within the store. The JCP in Northfield Shoppes has it right.

Pick up inside was good. Tried doing it on the app from the parking lot and it couldnt find my order.

Good experience. They always have a sale going on. Some good, some not that good.Today as we walked in, we were handed a gift of chocolate that had a secret coupon inside and we got one for 50%off our purchase.Lots of restriction on brand but lucky for us, everything we bought was covered by that extra 50% off.

Online says they close at 9pm, and the sign confirms that, but manager on duty had the entrance door already locked and quickly walked over to lock the exit because we were approaching the building at 8:50pm.Even after I told her all I wanted to do was walk to the portrait studio so I know exactly where Im bringing my kids in the morning since this is the 1st time we will be using their portrait studio, she continued to block the doors to keep us out. I am an avid shopper at JC Penney stores. And this store ranks as one of the best, for me. The store has a great selection of mens clothing, regular and big sizes. I have exited the store w/o making a semi-large purchase.

You would think on a Saturday morning during the Christmas season there would be associates manning the high dollar appliance and bedding department.After spending 45 minutes in the store trying to find someone to purchase a new bed from, I headed back to the service desk, only to find there was no one working there at all.When I finally found an associate, on the way out of the store, I found that the associates were wearing red Polos and jsans. Really??? The team members are dressed better at Target.No wonder this old chain store is on life support.

When checking out we waited forever as our bank card wouldnt go through. We called our bank and they said they have been having issues with Jcpenneys and bank cards! The girls helping us were nice...

Alexandria was very friendly and personable. She went the extra mile to get baby to smile, and talked to us like we were her friends, and not just customers. The studio lost a star for broken chair, blown bean bag chair, and not having the props shown in the sitting area.

We went to Orchard Town Center, but the dress we wanted they didnt have. Sabrina assisted with finding the dress at another store. We arrived at the Brighton location with the dress waiting for us. Nice job Penneys.

Left my recent order at the register. NO SALE! Signage was unclear and the sale prices were apparently only for their card holders. Thats BS!The other items I had did not ring up properly either and to top it off I had waited nearly 20 minutes for one associate to serve 7 people ahead of me.

I got such a great deal on groupon for photography and the photographer was very nice and helpful.

Rude and scandalous employees in the portrait studio...I will not be returning unless they hire new people...I was not the only disappointed one. Many others complained as well. She said what ever she could so I wouldnt use the groupon I had already purchased.

Recently my experience was a little upsetting. All the sale signs were written completely in Spanish. At checkout we noticed all the sales signs on the counter were also in Spanish a long with the signage on the walls when entering or exiting the stores. I could understand if everything was written in English and Spanish, but it was only Spanish. So now the sales dont apply to me because Im only English speaking and cant read them? Or I have to ask an associate what the signs are implying even though I live in an English speaking community. All I want is to have equal opportunities, even if that means writing it in English in small print.
