Ace Hardware is a great store. Id much rather go here than any of the big box stores. We moved here 10 months ago and I havent had to go to a big box store since. Weve been to Ace a lot and theyve always had everything weve needed. I love the hometown feel and very friendly staff. Most of the time Im not sure exactly what I need and theres always someone available to help. Today we needed stain for the stairs on the back of our house. Becca was amazing and helped us get exactly what we needed. She was very helpful and friendly. She talked and treated us like shed known us for years.Ill wear a mask when its required but I really appreciate the fact that Ace lets their customers decide if they want to wear a mask or not. The store isnt overly crowded and the employees keep a respectable distance. No point living our lives in fear. I feel very safe in Ace Hardware and in Brigham City.

This Ace is great! Always helpful when I need a LOT of propane. The cashiers are all really nice and friendly. Any time Ive asked for help Ive gotten it quickly and with a good attitude.

Would give 5 stars but very often I go and they dont have the part I need. They have only a few selections in each area. Sometimes I can adapt my project but other times Im left with needing to go to a different store. They do have good customer service... When you can find someone.

Extremely difficult to get any help. Always understaffed. They very often dont have something in stock even though the website says they do. Everything is over priced. If you select a different location for pickup on their website or go into a different Ace Hardware, most of the prices are a few dollars lower than they are at the Brigham Location. Half of the employees look at me like Im wasting their time if I ask for help.

The Brigham City Ace has very helpful staff. The staff tries very hard to provide the service you expect from an Ace Hardware! It has a fair amount of stocked hardware with a very large paint section that rivals some of the larger stores. I have made a couple trips to this Ace store for basic parts etc and they didnt have what I needed which was very surprising to me. If you need something that you believe is out of the ordinary you should call first.

Wow. I havent been in Ace since last summer and it was, as always, a mess, with shelves left empty and unstocked and workers with complaints written all over there faces. You could FEEL the hopelessness. Yesterday, I had to buy something I would normally go to Walmart for, but since I was in the neighborhood, I thot Id just run in Ace. Was I shocked! I immediately knew new management had taken over! The shelves were flush with items and signage offering special discounts etc. Additionally, there were new SMILING faces at the registers and down the aisles. What a difference. Maybe I wouldnt be avoiding Ace anymore. Theyre still overpriced, but at least you dont feel like you are burdening the employees anymore. What a welcome relief.

Ace is the Place is absolutely correct. I bought an MS 170 Stihl chainsaw yesterday and the customer service was outstanding. The guy showed me how to run and maintain my new saw, what gas to use, how to keep the chain tensioned, and ensure I got the sale price at checkout and use my coupons. Great Job Ace Hardware in Brigham City!!

Great for small town stuff, doesnt always have everything you need but it is a great place for smaller projects. They are more expensive than lowes but the convenience is great.

Didnt have what i needed

Wish i could give 0 stars. these people ruined my whole plan of getting our yard in our new house. called and scheduled a machine to prep our backyard and everything was dandy. called today to make sure everything was still good for tomorrow morning to find out that the machine they “rented” us was sold 3 years ago and they don’t have it. we have top soil being delivered tomorrow and now have nothing available to get prepared to put it down.

Helpful, friendly staff. They have the tools you need including rental equipment.I recommend giving them a chance before going to the big box stores.

Poor Customer service first off... There were 3 cashiers standing behind the desk & not one of them Greeted us when we walked in & only one was helping a customer..Other than that its your basic hardware🔧/plumbing 🚽store with other types of supplies like Painting, Grilling, Gardening... Fun place to hangout. I love the fact that they have custom soft drinks. The only draw back is their selection didnt seem quite as good as Home Depot.

Asked for help in the plumbing department, waited over 40 minutes for someone to finally got around to help me, just to find out the kid didnt know anything about replacement spout. 😒

I went in to try to find some items for a project Im doing for my daughter. A gentleman named Monty helped me out and he was amazing. He got me some wood boards I was after, a handle and hinges. I was in and out of the store fairly quickly thanks to his help. Bonus that he was very friendly with customers. I will be going back for future hardware needs.

Ace normally carries the little odds and ends that we always need. Better variety than Home Depot for do it self projects.

Ace in Brigham City, we got last year a new lawnmower Craftsman. We ask for manual they didnt have it, we had to download it from the internet no problem. Used for ONE time and winter comes we put it in the shed. Now it doesnt start. Took it over there they said we will take care dont worry. After 2 weeks waiting we call now they said we have to pay them to fix it. $50 an hr....we will NEVER buy anything over there.

I have been to Ace in many places and they are generally very helpful but this particular store, one has to ask for help, rather than help being offered as one walks in the door. Alas, I always find what I need here when the smaller hardware store is either closed or doesnt have what I need. My expectations are very high for Ace Hardware, as I am used to a more energetic staff willing to help at the door. I visited last month, purchased almost $400 in building supplies, including 14x40@18 pieces of plywood, waited 30 minutes and started loading up my truck myself, of which apologies were given but when I returned a month later, the same neglect was shown again.

My local ACE is the best. We have a joint down the street that I dont know how they are even still open. ACE has the best customer service you can ask for and they are willing to make it right if things go wonky on you. I had a paint get mixed wrong and they gave me the right paint, and then discounted it on top of that. They have even delivered stuff to me since I couldnt leave the project. There is nothing better than a small town hardware store and the Brigham City ACE is it!

Are there two lines or just one??! Seriously people if there are two cashiers make two lines. Every time I go, there is a line half way back the store. Two cashiers means two lines!! Sometimes they have what I need sometimes not. Definitely prefer Home Depot.....but its nice to have a little something close to home.

Reserved Scaffolding for all day Sunday but because they didn’t open till 11 on Sunday we made arrangements to pick it up the night before right before closing. We arrived at 7:45pm to pick up (close at 8pm) and it had been rented out and the customer had been told to return it when ever. We had cleared our schedules and had arranged extra help to work on our project from 8am- dark on Sunday. We left and were told they would contact us as soon as it came back in. At 12 on Sunday we hadn’t heard anything yes so I called to see if it was back in. The employees there didn’t know anything about the issues the night before. They said they would go see if it was there. They said it was there so my husband hurried into town to get it. When he returned it was outside scaffolding not the one that’s shown online on their rental page. We decided to make it work at this point we had lost most of the day light. We got it set up and we’re working by 2. We didn’t get it finished (due to not starting when we planned) so the next day my husband took off work to finish it, at 11:30 I called because we needed about an hour longer. We were told no problem to have it back by 2. We had it back by 2 just to be charged an additional $18 on top of the $50. Not impressed, $68 for the wrong rental, messed up pick up times and very uneducated employees. Next time will drive to Logan it Ogden for our rental needs. 1/5 stars is generous

They always have what I need.

This Ace has gone down hill quickly. I remember a few months ago the customer service was great and it was a nice store to shop at. Lately it is bad experience after bad experience. The staff have no idea about any of the products and they are very rude. Maybe management has changed and it is reflecting down to the employees. If you do shop at this Ace make sure you do your research on what you need. If you ask anyone there about a certain project you are working on they will give you bad advice and sell you the wrong product. My wife went in to buy a floor scraper (not really knowing what a floor scraper looked like) and the kid sold her a flat spade shovel, hahaha. They do carry floor scrapers, but I guess this kid didnt know what they are.

Im giving this particular location five stars for the pure and simple fact then when I went there in a hurry, the staff was very accommodating, knowledgeable, and professional. They went out of their way to help me, and find what I needed. I sincerely appreciate their hard work and customer service

Helpful people. We have an old house where some is bound to need a repair here and there and these guys and girls are always willing to help, give advice and if they dont have what we may need, they know where in town to go.

Closed 3 hours earlier than posted store hours. Arrived a couple minutes before 5pm on a Saturday then had to leave minutes later because they were closing. I’ll stick to Lowe’s and Home Depot since they’re more reliable.

Nice to have a local hardware store back in town again. It was 15 years between Anderson lumber and Fred Meyer leaving and Ace hardware arriving. 25 miles to the nearest Home Depot / Lowes was horrible.Check out is a little clunky at times, but that kind of gives it a Home Town feel as well, youre a person not a number.

Im in here at least a couple times a week. They have a good selection of nuts and bolts and all the basics for most any project you have around the house. Sure Home Depot might be cheaper on some items but, they are also 30 minutes away and you can never find someone to help you if you have questions...unlike this Ace. There is always someone around to ask questions.

Seriously, I make two - three trips here each week. They have very knowledgeable staff, an amazing selection of hardware and tools, and fair prices. The tool rental options are also quite robust.

They need to hire more experienced people. Had to leave too many times and go else where because they either have no idea about a product or dont know if they carry a product. And I always get the same line. The guy that knows about that is not here right now or he just left.

Had horrible experience with their equipment rentals department. I paid for a full day on a piece of equipment brought it in when noticed it was leaking oil. I was told by their manger Justin that I should of called when it happened. Well I didn’t call it in I brought it in. No one ever answers the phone at the “helpful hub”.My frustration came from observation of the trailer the equipment came with. Brake and signal lights were not functioning, equipment was not property secure ( 1 strap) in other world lack of professionalism, safety, and no sense of customer service. When I mentioned this to the manager he said the employees should have checked before leaving the store. Turns out customers must follow policies but not the staff.I was hopeful we could stay doing business with them as I’m a local business owner trying to keep and help local business but with attitudes like their manager I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I needed a cutting wheel for my wild cat grinder one of the employees helped me look for a wheel with a 5/8 nut in the middle he helped me find a adapter to use with the new stile good customer service and very nice people thank you too the Brigham city Ace hardware employees 😉
