Wow, great inventory and super nice staff. Just got beach chairs and beach blankets for the season - really nice! The owner was very helpful in picking out nice chairs with back pack straps, that was exactly what we wanted. Woven blankets were soft, we got all three colors. I totally recommend going there for anything you need for the beach or your shore house.

New owner took over. Heck of a nice guy. Place will be nice after he fixes it up. Good luck.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place is so cluttered you can barely walk and is very overpriced. Not to mention, the owner yelled at my 4 year old for looking at a piece of junk toy that he had displayed outside of his store. He then proceeded to push the toy, which caused my child to fall down. Never will I recommend anyone to shop here. There’s a beautiful shop just up the road called Sea Star, which is clean, has friendly staff, and has a MUCH better selection of merchandise.

I decided to research the owner after having two bad experiences there. Once as a child and once as an adult. I wanted to understand how and why somebody could be this way. I made a new Google account with a different name just to write this and after reading so many bad reviews online I knew there had to be more to the story. I was right. I wont go into it here because its not my story to tell but hes lived through and seen a lot. Does it excuse how he treats people and children? No. But I know whats moral and whats right and I am choosing to leave a good review here and hopefully somehow he will change his ways. Originally, I was going to take the revenge route and write terrible things everywhere I could. I even considered calling the store and saying terrible things to him. His story changed my mind and taught me a lesson. Maybe there is still time for him to learn lessons too.

This place is the best. Dont listen to the bad reports. They are just low life people that have nothing to do in their day. So they do their best and ruined a business for another person. The place is really good. The workers are really nice and the owner is lovely.

Never shopped here, I just want to share my experience about a whale. A whale grew legs and chased me down the aisles. It ate me. I am currently in its stomach. Goodbye.

The owner is terrible. Walked in on our way to the pizza shop to grab sandals. Pulled out my phone to make sure I had grabbed enough out of the beach bag. So I had a 100 dollar bill in my left hand and my phone in my right.He walked up and said no phones are allowed in the store. I was taken aback and asked why. He then accused me of coming in to cool off and that I might just be there to take pictures of things.I replied that Im just checking the pizza menu to make sure I grabbed enough cash for these sandals with our pizza order. He then yelled he didnt care and we just stopped to cool off. Im standing there holding a 100 dollar bill in my left hand and my cell phone in my right.I was blown away. Im a 38 year old middle class normal looking guy. Heck I dont even have any tattoos. In full beach gear standing there with my son.Im sure this review wont matter. But I would never ever go back in there. I laughed and walked out. It was so ridiculous I cant even be mad.

The guy cursed at me, I saluted him then he tried to pick a fight with me right in the parking lot. All that I can say is that my advice is to stay away from this store and I will say a prayer for this man in Saint Marys Cathedral as after reading these reviews there seems to be some deep seated underlying issues here and as a Catholic my faith guided me to walk away but not everyone has learned humility and forgiveness as I have!

They have the most seashore items, clothes and other items that tourist need. I enjoy this place!! The store is so full of items like clothes and shoes, etc... however having all of these items filling the store it does make it hard for a wheelchair person get around.

What a junk store! They sell health and beauty aids from at least a decade ago! So cluttered and dirty!

They have a little of everything and the largest selections as far as souvenirs, but you need to be careful with each item to be sure it isnt broken before purchase. Over the past 8 yrs I jave seen the man who owns the place be the biggest crab and also be very kind and understanding. He is hit or miss. We still go in a couple time a year when we visit the island.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I went into this, disastrously crowded with junk, store with my four children and without two minutes my older two (11 & 14) came up to me and said that an old man told them this isnt a playground, leave i wanted to shop and pick to some things for the beach so told them to just stick with me. We were quietly looking around when we were then approached by an ignorant old man who again who again said this isnt a playground, leave I must say that i didnt handle this well myself as i let his ignorance get to me and i used several expletives in the course of ourdiscussion Needless to say i was asked to never come back which i never would have anyway after being treated so.Plus there are several other stores in the area with better prices and super nice owners.

Very rude owner. I just went into the store the doors were open and the lights were on. The power went off and I thought something happened and I looked at the person behind the register who was the owner as I found out and he said the store is closed. I asked if I can make a quick purchase since the doors were open and the lights were on when I got there and he told me no and to get out! Two other customers were also told to leave! I told him he was very rude and he threatened to call the police on me and told me he was in his 70s and I have not respect. I’m in my 60s age has nothing to do with respect but how you treat people! Find someplace else to shop in Brigantine!!

Before, I wrote a review saying the owner was mean to me and kicked me out. But today i came back he was very nice to me and my grandfather. I honestly thatink he was just having an off day that time. But honestly, hes quite the nice fellow.

The old guy yelled at my son while I was paying for a shirt for trying out a toy! Extremely rude and disrespectful. There are tons of better surf shops to go to.

My friend had a terrible experience in this store & from what Ive heard & read about the place/the owner...he is a mean rude arrogant person who looks to start a fight with customers (even children) to the point where injuries occurred & the cops were called!!! NEVER EVER EVER step foot in this store, I have a feeling youll regret it or worse, you could be assaulted by the owner!!!

There is something seriously wrong with this owner. Nasty, rude and just downright disgusting. Plenty of other places on the island that will take my money. Avoid this place at all costs.....Don’t waste your time with this miserable person.

Called store to see if there were any more beach umbrellas in stock. The owner cut me off mid sentence and wouldnt listen to the next question that I wanted to ask of him and then hung up the phone!!!!! I tried calling right back and he refused to answer the phone...I have to agree with the other reviews of RUDENESS and I dont care attitude. This store will never get my business!

BEWARE - Doubled charged and yelled at by very nasty owner. I will never shop there again and nor should anyone else!
