I’m absolutely stunned by how great dead river is to work with. We have our propane on auto delivery but they also provide maintenance service for boilers. Our boiler went out and the tech who helped us explained everything clearly and got us up and running with new parts no problem. Huge fan

Garbage! We just purchased a home and have spent the last two weeks going through all the necessary De-Winterizing process, in doing so our local plumbing/heating company had to get the heat running nice and high for a handful of days to make all proper repairs and to ensure all pipes were thawed out 100% etc. We realized the tank was empty and contacted Dead River right away, at around 5PM right as the sun was just starting to set. Due to it being after hours we had to contact their emergency line, but unfortunately we were told they cannot do anything to help us, regardless of price! We received zero help and instead were told nothing could be done at all without a preexisting account, and of course this couldnt be done over the phone and/or online! What amazing customer service!Whats the point in having an emergency line if you dont actually provide any real emergency service? Rather you just discriminate based on preexisting/established customers and their accounts? What a friendly local Maine company. No common decency or empathy, just by the book black & white corporate puppets! Id recommend steering clear of such a soulless organizing! Now myself wife and 3 babies will have to travel an hour to get a hotel and pray our pipes dont freeze and we lose all the money we just put into it, plus having to fix any damage that may arise..-Disgusted Mainer

Tim and Cory provided outstanding customer service. We had an emergency at our house - no heat at all (it was 33 degrees outside this November) and they were here for 2 hours - knowledgeable, informed, very much experts in their field. Ruled out a few possible solutions and were generous in how they explained to me the problem. I now have heat and know exactly what I need to fix and what repairs I need to make. They even referred me an electrician. I am so so grateful - they provided outstanding customer service and I hope if we ever have problems again, they will come back!

It was discovered that there was a mistake with the service of our boiler. There apparently was a miscommunication. The error resulted in minor, repairable damage/wear to the boiler. Dead River stepped up, regardless of fault, and offered to pay for the repair. The Customer service manager is very engaging and follows up promptly. At first, I was not pleased. However, they have done an excellent job of repairing the relationship and the boiler.

Do not use these extortionist! We had an emergency need for oil and called them as soon as they opened. We were told if we wanted oil today, we’d need to order a (full fill-up of our tank) and sign a contract for auto refills! Zero customer service and mob like tactics, disgusting! Beware you’ve been warned to avoid these con artist.

This company denied me a delivery which is fine, but they took my money and have not returned it to me as of yet for almost 2 weeks. I would not recommend this company to anyone!!!
