Let me be clear, the 2 star review is for Betsy( or whatever she wrote on her name tag). The store is like any other HF stores, clean and stocked. My 2 star review is all about Betsy and her telling me to go to another cashier because she had something to talk with the client in front of me...wasnt something merchandise related,but personal things...I was told to go to a other cashier to pay for HF merchandise because the cashier had things to talk with a friend...incredible...the manager of the store must be proud...

I bought a bumper mount trailer hitch for a good price but why do they sell a tow hitch without the mounting hardware? Makes absolutely no sense whatsoever,so I ask if they have hardware,the kid who probably never touched a tool in his life said aisle 4,so I go over there and I’m walking up and down the aisle looking for nuts and bolts,the closest thing to hardware they had was a package of nylock nuts,so now I have to go to another store to get hardware when it should come with the hitch,or at least that’s what would make sense to me because every other hitch I’ve ever bought came with hardware.

It is what it is. Buy stuff to destroy or use once. For that, its great. That said Ive only blown out a few of their sockets, so maybe those are ok.

I really like this store. I stayed away from harbor freight because I thought they were cheap tool in both price and quality. I dont think that is the case as much anymore. Dont know how many power tools I will be buying but I buy alot of the tools that I would only use every once in while. Also great for the consumable stuff like blades, bits, cut wheels, etc. Staff is one of the consistently friendlier staff I have meet in long time.

I usually find thungs I need here but recently I see many things missing they have in sale. Reason for 4 points. Otherwise friendly cashiers. Service is good.

Tool broke 3 times, had to go back 3 times to get the job done . You know what they say you get what you pay for

This place is amazing! They have everything you can ask for. Unbelievable selection and prices.

Store was clean, fully stocked and organized. The employees were friendly and helpful. I purchased a generator, which isnt light. They carried it out and placed right in the trunk of my car. The whole process took less than 15 minutes.

This store is good for emergencies only. I bought 2 1000lb rated straps to lift 950lbs. Figure i should be able to lift 2000lbs. One of the straps broke. The quality of the items they sell is not worth your safety. Know youre getting an item that is good for no more than a single use.

Good prices. But if you need help...you better read the signs in the aisles. No help when I went after 6. Only two cashiers and only one of them decided to man her register. So it wasnt a quick in and out. Not sure if they were understaffed...or the store willfully scheduled two associates.

Went to HF for a plastic welding item and I didnt see it so, I asked and they gave me the aisle number and there it was.There was only one person in the line so I was out the door approximately 3 min.

The store is not as big as the amount of time that I need to leave the same store.They usually have most of the tools that I need to exchange when they break.

Terrible customer experience. The representative at checkout was completely dismissive and seemed to be upset at our presence in the store. Spoke to management about this and the manager at the time was a very sensible individual. Will most likely conduct business again based on my second interaction

Harbor Freight always has trained friendly and efficient staff to help you find the items you’re shopping for. The staff is always ready to explain the small print on the store coupons. It’s a great place to purchase all those essential sale items.

Variety of tools just didnt have what I was looking for. I was looking for 12 aluminum ramps I may have to try online or a different store. I bought tools from here before and were good just this time no luck.

Cheap tool chain. Good for a quick tool pick up. I wouldnt but anything that my life would have to depend on though. Like jack stands... But the staff is ok and they seem to have a good amount of stocked shelves.

Closed before posted hours.This is the 5th time i tried to come to this store after work and they were closed and locked up at 6:45.Employee and manager came to the door and sent me away.Pointing at a sign that says hours are till 8pm.Horrible service. I just needed one item desperately had cadh, didnt even want the change and they refused to ley me in while they started closing their registers

After having a psychological treatment repeatedly for talking to the snap-on dealer I went to harbor freight so I bought today this time on this trip about 10 power tools most of them bench tools and got out of there for less than the cost of a single 10 mm from snap-on

Whats not to l love? As you walk in the door the smell of a man... or maybe the smell of China hits you like a punch to your nervous system. Under ten dollars later I now own a decent screwdriver set.

Love this place!!!! It has a lot of great stuff just not what I was looking for. I went in to get another security camera and its discontinued I think because the latest version is out and its a different brand. I have a Bunker Hill with 4 cameras and one broke. I really need another one. Not changing to a new system. This I found very disappointing as they are only few years old. So no one seemed to know what to do.

They had the Predator 3500 Generator on sale so I decided it was time. I live in Danbury, Ct and my local store was out of stock so I had to travel about an hour away to the Bridgeport, Ct. store to get one that was in stock. The staff there was very helpful and just a pleasure to deal with. I called before I went and the gentleman assured me they had plenty. When I arrived they actually already had one at the front of the store waiting for me. I even noticed that the Manager was actually in the front of the store overseeing and answering anyones questions that people including myself had. I have to say in todays world that was such a pleasant experience. I should have got thier names but today is 6/25/20 and I was there at aprox so I hope they know who they are. And I hope that corporate brings this review to thier attention!!!

My customer experience with Harbor Freight Tools was very unpleasant. I cant fathom what the workers experience when working with the manager that was scheduled on 2/11/2020 between the hours of 900am to 1100am. He was very rude and unpleasant. He never smiled and when I asked him to please show me where the motor oil was he told me to go to the aisle and look to the right..and if it wasnt there then they dont have any. I wanted him to show me the item. Second I asked for a spare tool so I could get my dog out the car because the door lock jammed and he told me to just buy some tools. This manager was not happy working today and it showed.

Horrible cashier. We had 4 items we were purchasing and she did not even bag them. I asked her are you going to bag the items , she then threw a bag at me and said here. They have decent tools - for the most part, if you have a problem, returns are pretty straightforward - just make sure to keep your receipt!! Otherwise, no issues to speak of.

I actually fell in love with the place. A lot of inexpensive good quality tools. Some tools are on-par with Snap-on tools.

While it is true Harbor Freight is known for inexpensive tools the products sold here are not anywhere near a professional level. As an example two of my purchases a spot welder and a horizontal metal cutting bandsaw are always available. It is however impossible to find replacements for the spot welding tips and the appropriate size blade for the saw. When I questioned a manager about the possibility of ordering these parts I got an excuse and a dirty look as if I was bothering this man. There are several other products I am aware of that it is impossible to get replacement parts for. In my opinion and based on my experience any store that cannot support the products they sell is not worth my time or money.

The guys at this store dont know what theyre doing. You could pick up a couple of strangers off of the street and they would run the store better in one day. You can ask them for the easiest thing theyll tell you to go to Home Depot to find it. Its the worst customer service out of any HF in Connecticut.
