The entire staff were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure my little project was completed successfully. I couldn’t ask for a better experience dealing with a contractor. We recently had our range swapped out of a kitchen island and I called about 8 places because we had to have the granite opening widened to accommodate the new range. The range is used several hours per day so getting this done quickly was important. No one returned my calls.I was then referred to Double a Stone from Master Tile in Old Saybrook. Alan came out to give me an estimate and was able to do the job on the spot after giving me the price. What I thought would be a long ordeal was just the opposite. The original installers didn’t even have the interior cuts polished. Alan left the edges he cut looking better than the perimeter of the island that the original installers cut. Alan is a craftsman, a total pro and a very nice guy too. The cleanup was minimal due to the constant vacuuming he did. The price was very reasonable and I couldn’t be happier with the results and dealing with Double A Stone. Thank you again!

I met with Alixon who quickly gave a kitchen countertop quote and is very friendly. Alixon follows up, she even invited us to view the stone before cutting. Double A delivered ahead of schedule. Workers performed a great install and cleaned up. Will definitely use on other real estate projects.

I have to say after looking and looking for a piece of mind and a smooth process we were referred to Double AA. Meeting with Alixon and telling her what we wanted she made the process so easy for us. Alan came to measure and very pleasant and even added his suggestions and was so glad he did because our new countertop is even better than we imagined. The installers took their time and made sure we were happy with our new Taj Mahal quartzite countertops. Our overall experience was stressfree once we walked through their doors.
